The circular saw to cut the piece of tubing 😂, I have never seen a circular used for tubing.
Lmfao I’m say glad you said it 😂
Thank you for doing a straight walkthrough. It's so hard to find videos that just show someone clearly doing every step unabridged. They're always over-edited and skip the most detailed parts (which is usually the part that I need as someone who is not especially technically inclined!) You're the man!
The constant cussing is a good indication that this guy is definitely a laborer🤣 love the video my guy
*LOWBLOW..😂*
*MAYBE 2ND YR APPRENTICE*
He human like every one else cussing is ok
Ex Navy too 😂
Josh is a lil jealous, such a twink
Man this is gold! I appreciate you recording the whole process since I has been a while trying to find a good video that shows every single step and you finally did it. I received the notification in my email so I clicked immediately to watch it! GREAT VIDEO! I'm a huge follower and I'm doing right now your course God Tier Marketing and your books! I'm learning a lot. Appreciated bro!
Glad I could help bro! Yeah this thing has made me a ton of money no reason not to share 💪

*HEY BRO..ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SELLING ME YOUR OLD SETU??*
@@originalshinemobiledetailing_ shoot it’s pretty fd would need a new pump for sure
You should try to vacuum out the shavings from your drill. You don't want those getting into the pump
He washed them out before he watered the plants, but I was thinking that when he drilled too
I notice that toilet. But great video over all
@@abdullahisalihu3990what toilet? You’re telling me there was a toilet near the tank? Seems unprofessional at best.
Y’all are over here worried about a toilet 😂
This just saved me a LOT of insurance claims! Thank you SOOOOOOO much!
You lost me when you used a circular saw to cut the hose 🤣 I'm still here .. but I'm lost for words lol
This looks great. I will have have to fill it up put this in the trunk or back seat of my Hyanudi Accent and use it through there. ( cause i don't have a truck... yet ;)
Thanks for showing this man. I'm going to be getting into softwashing in about 2 weeks. I have a deadline set to get all my ducks in a row to start the business and get going on it. I like the idea of doing something like this over window cleaning which I've been involved in quite a bit over the years. Thank you for showing all this information, can't wait to get started and making money this summer!
How’s it going so far?
Buying the whole set up already installed since it’s on discount. Excited to start this new line of service! Thank you so much for the Information
Hi,
Please can you share me a link to get the affordable readymade setup? Thanks
For anyone in the pressure washing biz, Southeast Softwash trailers are the best investment you can make.
AND TY. THE WHOLE SOFT WASH THING SEEMED A BIT DAUNTING BUT NOW I FEEL I CAN GET IT GOING FOR UNDER 500$!!!
Awesome video also putting your battery on concrete drains the battery just learned that a few months ago haha
Whats the chemical mixture ratio you use and the chemicals for the 26 gallon sprayer?
Hey Spencer, next time you need to work with that tubing, dip the end in hot water and the fittings will slide on much easier
Thanks bro! My plumbing knowledge is very limited as you can see 😂
You made it work, that’s all that matters
@@SpencerClaeysI didn't see that you use a filter on the hose end going into the tank...I can't seem to find the ones that come with a soap injector hose that would fit a 1/2" hose..any suggestions?
Yes! Thank you so much for making this.
I gotchu!
You should install two way output one can goto your hose for wash and second one should go back to water tank for back up water flow while your hose is shut down and you don't need turn off 12 volt pump . For back up hose will never let burn your pump . Thanks Its good video .
can use a piece of pvc to put the hose to the bottom of the tank then use an elbow on the bottom so hose doesnt suck too the bottom or sides.
That little pump, Spencer, is your Clydesdale to getting the work done! Great tutorial on sharing your wealth of knowledge when it comes to fabricating the right equipment for the right job. Cheers! Darryl
You bet!
@@SpencerClaeys You are so conscientious, Spencer, to reply to your subscribers in a timely manner- --that in itself is testament to the your dedication to the work that you do. Cheers! Darryl
I just bought this tank today for 47 bucks at northern tool. They said it's being discontinued and the new ones will all have the pump mounted on the side. Heads up boys. The tank is half off right now and going away for the 26 gallon
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!
Great video, REALLY wish you put up pictures of all the adapters you used I’ve been in Lowe’s for 20 minutes trying to find/figure out what that 3/4 adapter is
I got the kit. Please do a video on how to attach a regular garden hose (zero g like yours 100 feet) to the output of this pump.
Bro I appreciate your channel. It’s helped me a lot with my business
Found your post interesting to watch. I can't wait to see your new videos soon. Good Luck with the upcoming update. This RUclips channel is really very informative and effective.
Here is a tip. Get a bottle of NOALOX or OXGUARD from your hardware supply (electrical dept). Squirt a dose into your female electrical connectors, and coat the male ends with it, then plug together and wipe off what squeezes out. This will graeatly protect your wiring hsrness from corrosion.
Hey Spence. Thanks for making this video. You made it so it’s more understandable. Is this your exact setup for your jobs that you mix your batch eco roof powder in?
I also follow your TikTok. Great content !
Ill pry end up ordering the tank and pump, thanks for posting, was helpful
You slapped that together recently don’t lie you ain’t been softwashing I’m onto you
Would’ve been seeing those before and afters instead of you just scrubbing away at the moss, softwashing much better content
Yo Spencer, you convinced me to purchase the full kit. I waiting for it to get here in the mail. Once it’s here, I’m going to start my soft wash journey.
Any tips for a beginner?
I glued a flat peace of pvs with hole so I can get all the fluids
How many times would I need to refill approximately for 3k SFT home soft wash?
if you're softwashing by yourself, how do you wash the roof and make sure the plants/grass are being rinsed (to protect against bleach) at the same time? i feel like you'd need atleast a couple people for a decent sized job
the problem is i do lawn care now but it's only me.. i can't afford to hire someone else yet
IS THAT SIZE TANK ENOUGH FOR AN ENTIRE ROOF SOFT WASH?
kid, you have gold right there . . . your ability to go through the entire process and be real about it all is great . . . it's clear you have some working knowledge and a whole stack of doin it yourself and that was almost endearing :) . . . might i suggest you get someone to wrangle for you a bit, edit / produce videos with you frame out the content you're gonna work on (so it's smoother) but keep the whole process involved, that's the part that will hook people because it's not polished and finished it's real . . .too many diestra wannabes that have to have it "Discovery" ready, don't become one of those clowns this was informative enough to get the point, entertaining enough watch'n you deal with actually doin something and complete from box to bust you did an excellent job of stick'n to it even when it was clear something should of been done a bit differently every once in a while :) spectacular young man, do not stop we need a couple million more just like you :)
Cool. One question. Why did you have to drill so many holes to get the pipe in the tank?
At 5.5gpm does that mean you will run through that 26 gallon tank in less than 5 min? You must always have to have water on-site then correct? Thanks for the video, great job!
Great Video Brother
So I can just replace the pump with a bleach pump right?
How long does the battery last? Can you finish a full house?
Please is it possible to buy a complete setup soft wash tanks on Amazon with low pressure pump and substitute the pump with a 5.5 pump instead of facing the whole technical setup stressed from scratch?
I tried searching for a complete setup, but what I’m getting are not of high quality pumps. Thanks
This being said that you use a 5.5gpm pump is it safe to say you go through a tank in say 5 minutes?
Or I guess it depends on the nozzle you are using?
Mans really used a circular saw 😂
Would 1/4 hose work for this set up?
So...for a 2000 square foot roof, would that 26 gallons do the whole roof or would it take more than one batch? Just trying to avoid mixing too much for a job and wasting SH.
This video helped me a lot thanks brotha !!
Thanks for making this video bro! Super helpful. I have a dumb question though... I use an x-jet to clean houses. I can just flip a switch if I want to spray house wash and flip it off when I'm ready to rinse. It seems like this soft wash setup you showed would be sweet for spraying on the house wash, but wouldn't you still need a pressure washer to low pressure rinse off the house? Or is this more of a roof wash setup?
You can just have a hose tapped into customers water spicket as well… no need for pressure washer
Yup yeah I just fill the tank spray the house down then use the clean water hose to rinse down the house 💪
How long of a hose can you run with this and not lose dilution?
Yo Spence, love the content. I’m having a hard time setting my system up. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions?
If I wanted to use this for soft washing roofs, could i connect a longer hose or connect another 100ft of hose to use on the roof?
You the man Clay
Did you put a spray end smaller hole on the end of your hose?
local car wash has free 35 gallon tanks here :)
Appreciated, thanks for the info. Your gutters need cleaning.
I’m sure these pumps are fine to run oxalis acid wood brighteners or other things like that right?
Theres a lowes 15 gallon set up with a 1.0 gpm pump will that work ?
How much can you clean with a 55 gallon tank? Could I do an average house or roof wash?
Curious as well about volume vs roof
That knife that looks like a key is pretty handy.
They’re dope! Harbor freight haha
Bro... yes!
This is what I’m looking for. Looking to pre and post treat SH and ditch the pump up bottle.
So coming off the pump, you just have a water hose? What’s your recommendation for after the pump?
Hey bro, I bought the set up that was already assembled. It comes with an “agitation line” which I’m guessing just cycles the water back through the tank before it goes out the hose so your water/SH mix stays nice and mixed up. Do you know what I’m talking about? And if so is that necessary? Or should I just stick with your direct line from tank to output hose?
Hey why don’t you use the bleach pump?
awesome stuff, thank you! will this set up work with a lot of hose, like from the back of the truck to the top of the roof?
Do you ever have any issues with the battery being around water?
Not usually, sometimes the battery harness gets corroded but they're cheap to replace
Thinking about buying or building one soon, is the 26 gallon enough? Do you have to refill it often during jobs? Love your vids thanks for the knowledge
7:16 you are quite the craftsman
Nice build
Man, my question is WHY didn't you just buy a New pump and put on top of your Old tank or was there a hole in the old tank or this was Just for education purposes? which is cool for me. but curious of other tank seems to be holding water and leaves and stuff at the bottom at least.
Also can I use a pvc drop stick instead of just dropping the hose in the tank ?
How's it holding up?
That switch kit from North Star is actually $40. Cheaper ones don’t support 20 amp
Do you ever do house washes with this thing as well instead of having to haul around a pressure washer?
What would be the minimum pump that would work? GPM/PSI
The 5.5 is awesome. Just have to move much faster as it sprays quite quick
Yeah its pretty fast!
What size quick connect are you using ?
This may be a stupid question but has any made this set up into a portable unit. Say for large home that the hose will not reach and must be relocated?
Such an inspiration you are. Thank you for all the knowledge.
You’re so welcome bro!
Where did you get the connectors that have the switch on them?
tip : hold a container underneath the are you drill so the stuff you drill doesn’t make a mess. doesn’t really matter tho
What about super long hoses? What ones do you use for roofs
its Spencer!! yahh fire content bro!!
Thanks Julio! 🙏
Hey man, thanks for the great info, what was your first couple of jobs like when you used chemicals on a house for the first time? I’m worried about that but maybe it’s easier than you think. Just bought my tank.
What would the water to bleach ratio be for a 26 gallon tank? Also do you use any surfactant in your mixes as well so that way it’d cover the bleach smell?
You doing it for roof or?
@@a.i.gaming317 kinda like a roof soft wash but also for pressure washing concrete and all of that
@@HaunsX half and half would be a 5 percent mix so 13 gallons water 13 gallons sh then leave a little room for surfactant
@@a.i.gaming317 so 13G of water 13G of SH and maybe like 3-4 cups of surfactant? Or more surfactant?
@@HaunsX yup and if you want it a little more soapy add lil more
Can you complete a whole house wash with this set up. If so how many sf does this set up cover before the tank is empty
maybe invest in a hole saw
Can I put a bigger drum to the compressor
Can this same system be used as a buffer tank?
Two of these setups and a 4gpm machine would complete a full pressure washing business if that's the case!
im assuming you need a separate drum
with just water to rinse off
the chemicals when softwashing?
Just use a hose connected to the customers water
just trying to make a budget 1 myself so this is perfect.
what ratio of chlorine do you run or does it change depending on the surface type.
Skill saw. 😂 awesome
Great content! So obviously this is something you’d have along with your PW correct? This is specifically for being able to soft wash at higher SH amounts?
So you use a Pressure hose with water hose adaptor or just straight water hoses for this set up? Seeing conflicting videos talking about the psi for there machines.
has anyone bought the whole setup? im thinking about getting it and wondering if it'll fit in the back of my 04 mazda 3 so i could just drive from job to job
Your links for the tank and pump don't work. They just take you to the northern tool website.
What do you recommend to make this mobile or out wheels? I’ll be working out of a Ford Explorer with no utility trailer to start. Or just try to leave it in the car and run long hoses which I’m sure is what people do since these are usually on trailers or skids.
Kinda doing things out of order...
Put 1" pvc over hose to hold it to the bottom of the tank
Would this setup work with a 150 foot hose
How do you approach customers when you go door-to-door? I've been a fan of your channel for a while and I'm learning a lot from it, I practice some door-to-door today and it didn't go too well. Do you have any tips you would share?
Numbers game, all about talking to enough people
A short piece of PVC pipe around the house will help keep it straight to the bottom of the tank
Link for the battery tender you use?
