I’m impressed with the review and the release design. One thing I think would be awesome is if had a click. Adjustable tension and adjustable to click. Then a .0010 sear drop. That would make the ultimate trigger release IMO. The Verge has a click which I think is awesome but I don’t like the long trigger on it.
I’ve been using this closed loop method for a better part of 15 years, merely by personal trial and error of how I can execute my shot consistently 😎👍the Scott S2 is probably one of the best tools in my quiver, and probably for any archer out there, both for beginners and advanced. Even though back tension and hinge releases are good, it all just really boils down to personal preference as an archer soots over the years. Scott has got some pretty innovative stuff out in the archery world and reasonably affordable 🏹🏹👍
I just switched to a wrist release after years of handhelds and been loving it and shooting it with true back tension but I like the way you touched your fingers and pulled to set it off. I’ll be trying that. I just got two Like Mike ll’ sand like them a lot and how far the trigger is but this is similar but has a two sear system which I like.
Yes, for hunting a wrist release is the way to go for my style of hunting, like that it’s always attached to your wrist you don’t have to shuffle through your pockets to find your handheld release. The double Sear gives you the same tension feeling every time or a single sear feels different depending on what poundage you shoot. I would say by the Scott S2 I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!!
