I’ve tried them all. Wrist strap by far works best for me.
Great explanation on setting up and using this style of release!! Keep up the great great work your doing.
Thank you!
excellent job . enjoyed the vid , thank you
Nearly every barrel design trigger release will not let it be set up short enough for correct length. Unless you have big hands and long long fingers 99% of the people will end up using the tip or end of their finger to fire it. This automatically leads to drive by punching that trigger. Which leads to target panic in nearly everyone. Don’t use a barrel designed release. Get one on a strap that is adjustable to be set right length. The index finger should be hooked deeply over the trigger to the inside joint. This makes it very difficult to fire it with finger moving. LEARN TO PULL THRU THE SHOT WITH BACK MUSCLES. Adjust the release so there’s little to no trigger travel but with some resistance to move the trigger. Learn to pull thru the shot. It will take a lot of shots and adjustments to find the sweet spot for you. It’s important to have great form. Correct form will make the entire process easier too. You won’t be fighting to get the pin where you want it.
Agree 100 percent
Would changing from an index to a thumb change draw length?
It sure could. Each release is a little different in it's design and could have an impact on draw length and anchor.
I agree
👍
I'm the best trigger puncher I know at 75yrs old . Lol
If it works for ya then keep at it!
I shoot trad too , just learning 3 under . Your trad bows are beautiful . I think next Spring I'll be in touch.
