This is a No Brainer , This guy is great, He cares about peoples health, I have done extensive research on
Chlorine in pools and Toxicity because my sister goes to a public pool a lot and she has heart problems now.
I can not convince her to stop going ...I try to urge her to talk to the facility and changeover to a
healthier process which they should have done anyway, it seems the facility just doesn't care. All they want is their membership money.. Who Knows, They may be adding more chlorine to pools because of the cover scare .
I think Chlorine should be Banned in public pools because of the health problems it causes
and because we have cleaner technologies that can be implemented now ...

    - First thought: The pool in your video looks turbid to me.
    - Second thought: How do you manage pH with out adding chemicals? Among other critical issues, metal/element staining of surfaces are a nightmare with out proper pH balance. Not to mention swimmer eye comfort which people always blame on chorine levels when there is eye discomfort.
    - Third thought: How does it keep up during a prolonged high usage period such as a weekend party with many swimmers?
    - Fourth thought: Ozone is not good for plants and humans, indoor pool use? I am not referring to a large screened in enclosure.
    - Fifth thought: How many hours a day does the filter pump need to run for this system to be effective in sanitizing the water with daily use between 1 and 2 swimmers?
    - Sixth thought: How do you confirm residual ozone in the water? Or, more precisely, how do you verify effective sanitation in the body of water, not just at the filter plant where the ozone generator is located, is occurring, all of the time?
    - Seventh thought: How well does your system function with pools subject to water with high phosphates. (Algae food) For instance, some water utilities add phosphates to the water supply on purpose so dumping and refilling the pool would do nothing to remove the phosphates.
    - Eighth thought: How does your system deal with routine back washing not only for the purpose of cleaning out the filter media but perhaps extra back washing to lower calcium hardness levels? Are the added “elements” quick to recover?
    - Ninth thought: Maintaining proper sanitation levels using chlorine and maintaining pH is quite easy. Trying to make it sound difficult is further perpetrating a misnomer. (In my opinion that is. I am not a seller/producer of any pool/products nor do I have interest in companies that do.) All it takes is a little bit of reading/learning and consistency and one is off to independence and proper care/enjoyment of their recreation and therapeutic waters.
    Additional thoughts:
Don’t misunderstand me, I would love a chlorine/bromine fee option... But, it must be an effective one, through out the body of water, all of the time. In other words, have an effective residual that can be verified. Especially these days when proper sanitation of shared areas seems extra critical.
Happy holidays to you and yours and best wishes for a happy/healthy new year!

    • @OzoneGeneratorBest
      @OzoneGeneratorBest  10 месяцев назад +2

Well sir your thoughts are mostly erroneous. Ozone can be injected directly into the carotid artery and many clinics remove patients blood then bubble ozone through it. The system runs between 8-10 hours per day. The mineral ions keep on killing in-between pump run times. The water "doesn't look turbid" it's crystal clear. The system keeps PH between 7-7.5. Quarterly backwashing still needs to be performed. There is no balancing truck like chlorine systems. We have no upgraded the system to a nano oxygen swimming pool system.

      @@OzoneGeneratorBest
Your message would benefit greatly if you would brush up on basic chemistry and explain a little about how the system is engineered to overcome the common issues encountered in pool...
First, the example of injecting ozone is ridiculous. The machine that produces medical grade ozone is probably more expensive than your entire pool installation... If you injected the "ozone" from a pool ozone generator into an artery you would be in for a world of hurt.... And why ever would anyone be injecting ozone in a pool? Is the pool water so good we are going to start shooting it into the veins???
Ozone generation through corona discharge is known to interact with atmospheric nitrogen producing a gas that is harmful to breathe. It is a valid concern about ozone generation in an enclosed space. Perhaps it is worth addressing?
Also, you might want to be a little more clear with terms such as 'salt' and 'ions' and 'chemicals'. Salt is a chemical that becomes ions when dissolved in water. Your "mineral ions" are also salts and chemicals before they are dissolved into the water, unless you are adding ions through electrolysis. If you are adding a "mineral ion" to the pool water, how do you measure it? When is there enough, and when is there too much? How does the pool system regulate the PH? Is this PH regulating system robust?
I'm not saying your system isn't working, or isn't great, or that it's not a fantastic alternative, but it would lend some real credibility to what you are saying if you actually explained what is going on. It's not like its an industry secret, the information on ozone purification systems and engineering is readily available online.
My guess is that your system has pros and cons, and if you would be forthright about each, people could have real confidence in your system being the right fit.

I love this idea as I have a salt chlorine generator which is indeed a chlorine pool that is just physically easier to maintain. My question is ozonators that fill the air with ozone is quite toxic while concentrated and also breaks down plastics and synthetic fabrics. Just curious how this differs in water and is it safe to swim in while it is running or do you run the cycles when pool is not in use as ozone dissipates fairly quickly? In no way am I disagreeing with your system just very curious. My son has eczema quite bad and if the chlorine is too high it can flare him up but if it is at proper levels and no chloromines present it has positive effects.

Wait a minute. A pass-through electrolyzer is not needed to disassociate NaCl. It's an ionic compound and does that naturally when combined with water. Also, marine salt is a mixture of salts, not just NaCl.

    • @KateInTheCity

@@OzoneGeneratorBest You mentioned marine salt so I thought you use that. Regardless, even just NaCl salt does not need anything else to ionize other than to be mixed in water. It's an ionic compound. Also, all of those bubbles of ozone are coming to the top and being released into the surrounding atmosphere. You said you knew chloramines were getting inti your bloodstream from swimming in your pool. I'm curious how you know that. Btw he's saying chlorine are not good for those who have breathing difficulties, yeah well not so much until it's too much chlorine. But for regular people, chlorine of 1.5-1.6ppm, pH 7.4 are ideal. It's just the same as your mucus osmosis (eyes, nose, mouth etc). Higher concentration leads to tearing eyes, dry skin, breathing difficulties. One day I decided to put whole 1kg of chlorine into a 25m long pool (I forgot about the width) after a few hours I swam in it, I got terrible tearing of eyes & very very runny nose almost dying because my mucus membranes won't stop getting inflamed even after hours. After that I absolutely took care of what I put in the pool. I work as a pool attendant.
