HI VICTOR. AMAZING BUILD SIR. DOES THE DSLR BOOTH SOFTWARE WORK FOR VIDEOS? I HAVE A 360 PHOTO BOOTH FOR MY WORK, AND I AM LOOKING FOR A TOUCHPIX ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE TO MANAGE CLIENT VIDEOS AND WORKFLOW.
That's pretty awesome so refreshing to see someone using a Nikon LOL everything I see is Cannon we use DSLR booth pro with a D7000 conneted to CamRanger that wirelessly sends the pictures to a Laptop and 43" Screen then one of my guys prints the pictures the guest likes on a DNP DS40 printer this would eliminate the TV and one worker LOL very creative great job
looks great I built one very similar im finding that my tablet seems a tad slow when im using it for functions so looking to figure out my best tablet option?
Thanks for sharing. I love your setup and ingenuity. Any downsides to using a cheaper tablet? A lot of people are using Surface Pros but I wonder if that's overkill?
Hi Victor, Your video was so helpful and very informative. Quick question, would you say that the soft lighting would produce an image of the quality of the mirmir photo booth? That is the type of style I would like when starting a photo booth business. Thank you so much!
I love how simple this set up is! Looks super portable! Mines a lot bigger and weights a lot so that the downside! How quickly does your printer print pictures? Well done, with the photo booth, mate!
Hey Victor, I too couldn't find the Top Hat you showed which I like better then those I saw on Amazon. Can you provide any more specific info about it to make it findable? Thanks.
i've searched in amazon, and didn't find exactly what Vitor is showing us, but found an alternative: www.amazon.com/Seismic-Audio-Tripod-Speaker-Adapters/dp/B003AZ28XY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1520809206&sr=8-5&keywords=top+hat+for+speaker+stand
excellent job man ! Planning to do the same thing on my own, thank you for sharing this. Still not sure about the box for it, i was thinking to customize it from wood, but i love this case u got from ikea, too many options toooo many. Wish u all the best !
Dude, very nice build. Now i'm thinking of doing the same but maybe cut out the camera hole large enough to fit a pcb ring flash. And it looks like there might even be enough room to fit in a battery back. Thanks for sharing!
tablet only, old versions of DSLRBooth use to save to both, but they stopped that (card would get full and camera would stop during an event... not good)
Hey, brilliant idea with the box. What was the name of the box from Ikea. I'll be look for somthing to modify . 2nd what the name of the company that you ordered the front from that did the cutout?
Hey thanks for posting this! I just got an identical setup and it's great, the photos look great on screen. but I just find that the photo prints end up looking a bit dark and the colour seems smudged. Do you find that to be the case with yours too?
Hi. How does the Vulcan Laptop do with regards to speed? Is it laggy? Or does it run dslrbooth well? How about printing? Is it fast? I'm going to be using a DNP Rx1hs printer for my photo booth. Thanks in advance for any assistance
The program runs well on the tablet, but I'm not running anything else at the same time either. The printing is only limited to the speed of the printer though.
Hi! Have you already figured out the connection/attachment to the printer? Is it possible to use cable? Or how did the wifi connection go? Also, how is the Canon Selphy in terms of running the costs for paper and ink? Im just concerned that I will have to ask for too much fee just to compensate the costs. Thanks!
J C the costs of the paper/ink combo is nominal. Not much at all. As far as connecting to the printer, it was easier to connect to it via cable. I just used a USB splitter and connected them all to one USB hub on the tablet
Very nice, you did a great job! Im building my own photo booth as well, im using a canon t6 with dslrbooth software & had a couple questions.. what kinda flash do you recommend, speedlight or strobe? What did you use to mount the flash adapter to case?
mrbowtie64 I use a regular speedlight. I found out that I don't need that much power at all for it. The mount is a regular lightstand umbrella mount with a 1/4 screw on the bottom for it to link it all up
Hi Victor. I found your videos very informative. Do you have to use the DSLR with a card in it or the ipad/software saves the photos through tethering?
Hello Congratulations for your video Could you tell me where you bought that tablet? It's windows 10, right? Can you connect a pinter directly to the tablet with the mini usb cable you mention it? Thank you

Rashawnda Grant what are you running the software on? If you are using a windows tablet or computer, you need to plug your camera into it. Then it will read your camera

Yeah I had gotten it from ikea, idk if they have the same one anymore 😔
Hello, Thankyou for sharing! May I ask what is the maximum 4x6 pictures your selphy printer can print?
I think the maximum it'll print before having to reload the paper is like 10. Definitely can get a better printer for this!
