A couple of laps from this years trip, the added power has knocked off a good few seconds but traffic didn't allow a new PB. The potential is there with a 7:47.6 being the optimum (based on 5 laps)
Watching the images seems fast. Watching the speedo is terrifying.
Very good driving.
Great driving! Someone can learn a lot from this.
Very minimal corrections. Good driver.
Pinned in fifth like a champ there.
Your speed into foxhole shocked me! Then I saw you had TODA cams and was like “oh, that’s probably why” 😂
I could listen to this all day. Excellent car, excellent driver!
Wow, Amazing driving skills and your S2K is a beast. Excellent handling. Im so happy its a a classic now :)
That's Honda power and an experienced driver. Quite faster than my Civic ED7: without really lots of Nordschleife routine 9:54 and the car seems to ask for some more laps. S2K is a class of it's own. Bergwerk down fast and stable. Very nice.
I'm not too experienced at the Nordschleife but I have 7 years in the S2000 from stock to the current setup. The Civic must be fun and very lightweight 👍👍
@@oneEYEziggy1982 900 kg with driver and fueled.
That porche was cookin
This guy is crazy man
Great driving mate good to see an s2k being driven to its full potential, have you taken much weight out of the car?
Thanks buddy
The car weights 1170kgs with half a tank of fuel so reduced by 50 or 60kgs vs stock
Bro was playing with fire with one of those 3-2 shifts lol
wowo this guy CAN drive!
Sick.
Damn you smoked that bmw 😂😂
Brilliant driving mate! I've also got AR1's in the same configuration and nearly the same KG suspension setup, what pressures are you running your AR1's at?
Cheers ! I normally run the AR1'S at 29-30psi hot
@@oneEYEziggy1982 much appreciated. Scrubbed mine in now, just looking out for a track day now (they're filling up fast!)
29/30 psi hot!
Thats a HOT tip right there..
Foxhole 220+ 😁😁😁
What suspension!?
Brilliant run BTW..!
Thanks ! The spec is in the description 👍
i get nervous just watching
miss my 2009 :[ recorded as one of the last ones ever made. god i made such a mistake selling it
what are your drivetrain mounts? (From Engine to Differential)
Vibra-technics engine mounts, trans and diff are all oem
Nice lap ! What are your suspension? What is your setup globally actually :)
Thanks Buddy
I've just added the setup in the description
Thanks! I understand why she's that stable. I'm used to M3s on the ring and I wasnt able to feel the same stability at high speed. I guess i need some ohlins and a big spoiler :) Nevertheless, good driving.
Oh and one last thing, what are you numbers geometry wise?
The wing helps a lot, definitely for a track like the ring.
Compared to an m3 I guess the s2000 has lots of lift at high speed due to poor underside aero and the fact most s2000 factory setups are neutral to oversteer balance during steady state, makes them much less confidence inspiring (but great fun)
Zero front toe, 3mm total rear toe in
Around -2.7 deg front camber, -2 deg rear
Caster 6.7 deg
Hi ! How many horse power ?
Hey,
Power is around 10bhp above stock (but dyno was 260bhp)
Taffic wasn't favorable
Its so difficult to get a clear lap on TF or a trackday
The stock car doesnt have itb? This one does?
Yes correct
how much power does this make?
This engine was 260bhp
Is that a short shifter or stock ?
It's stock short
how much power did the itbs add?
I can't say exactly as I pretty much fitted them along with cams. I will say, optimising the total intake runner length can gain 15-20 ftlbs torque
Last behind th Porsche wasted.
3:25 wtf is this?😂
it's a Caterham
