I can answer that for you.. Opies insecurity grew larger everyday and Anthony's racism going unchecked after Patrice died made him growingly unlikable.
@@corystheboss I'm inclined to agree. Without getting into specifics I think both of them over time became increasingly unlikable and and uncontrolled in their own ways. RUclips and podcasts unrelated to O&A have pretty much documented it. @@corystheboss Neither do I! Haha. He's someone I've never met and only know from the show and his social media/reddit presence. That's why I'd want it to be face-to-face over a beer. But even if he's full of shit it would give a good insight into the stuff we didn't hear on the air or hasn't come out (yet). I just think, either way, it would be an enlightening experience. As O&A used to say: "For the story".
Joe Derosa and his awful laugh/Im one of the guys attitude, is unbearable. Joe Derosa is not one of the guys. He is a high school beta. Who got into an industry.
When you have Bill Burr talking about you all the time and still nobody cares that let's you know your talent level. He runs a sandwich shop at a NY comedy club now.
Well this was an interesting find. I liked Danny on air. Funny and an interesting voice. He produced Black Philip with Patrice who liked him, despite that on air clicking on computer virus bit of shtick. The Anthony & Danny alcoholic friendship days were also a good listen. Danny being fired for taking a pornstar/stripper to a Sirius company event seems a bit harsh. Did this RUclipsr turn his interviews into a documentary eventually per chance?
It wasn't the actual taking of the stripper/pornstar that he got sacked for. The company event was comped tickets for some kiddy pop concert (One Direction, maybe Taylor Swift, I forget). As a 'rock guy' and O&A staffer, it was half expected that Danny would try something like that, as a goof. What got him IMMEDIATELY fired was, when Scott Greenstein had a private meeting with Danny in his office, to give him a dressing down for doing that, Danny put his feet up on the desk, and began talking sh1t to Scott as if he was a nobody, rather than the guy running the company. That was it, instantaneously, desk cleared and escorted from the building by security. That's why nobody from O&A could go in to bat for Danny, and try to get the decision reversed. It's like a junior programmer being called into Bill Gates' office for a disciplinary hearing, and calling him 'dude' while sticking his gum to the window.
@@Paddy.C thank you Paddy for that interesting and detailed insight. Sounds rather stupid of Danny to treat the boss with such contempt. Perhaps he was under the influence at the time?! I remember him once saying that he dreaded every losing his job with the show, and that he couldn’t imagine going back to a normal job. Anthony gave him a great life as a party sidekick. Danny only has Danny to blame. Cheers 🇦🇺🦘
@@antonio.derosas Hey, no worries. After O&A, Danny miraculously managed to walk into another dream job, working for Lazlow at Rockstar Games, who was a friend of the show, and had arranged for the guys to do guest voices for GTA and Red Dead Redemption. But, he managed to get himself canned AGAIN, either for inappropriate conduct towards female colleagues, or leaking information on upcoming projects online (depending on who you listen to). I'd say some form of substance abuse probably contributed to his actions, although it might just have been the same sense of entitlement he often exhibited on O&A. Either way, as you say, Danny has no-one to blame but Danny 👍
@@Paddy.C you definitely have your finger on the O&A pulse my friend. I shan’t ask, but if I was to guess, I’d say that you are in the inner circle somewhere in that world. Sounds like a cool life you’re leading. More power to ya!
I think that people who have a problem with Danny would probably have a problem with me in many cases. He and Kenny are my favorite people from that whole show, or maybe David Fried would beat them both out (I very much appreciated David just not playing along with the establishment illegitimate hierarchical bullshit and not kissing peoples asses like others did). I looked up Danny's name in the credits for Red Dead Redemption 2 and it said "Facial Scan:: Danny Ross" and I'm wondering if that means his face was scanned, or he did the facial scans of people for the game or perhaps both.
Danny is a smarmy arrogant dickhead who tried to hang with the comedians. When he's doing his job or in the background he's fine, if he tries to flex any knowledge or debate he's very unlikeable, so the fact that you are similar makes complete sense.
The final straw was bringing a pornstar to some family company thing and giving attitude to his bosses when he was dressed down for it. I'm sure it was coming though
He also talked about how he wrote a few chapters of a "tell all" O and A book, and realized it was retarded and stopped writing it, commented on how he thought Cumia's book is a waste of time too.

twisted psycho shit like anime message boards and light gore. what are you on about.
lol "deep web humor"
dude danny just didnt want fuckin viruses on the computer idiot and it your point proves patrice right danny cool with searching all kinds of fucked up shit on there worse then porn but gave Patrice sass and it went from there
he had to edit out the portion after he said "nah we arent recording" but was still recording, and then uploaded it.

Say what you will, Danny Ross stood his ground against the best, which is pretty much everyone on the show, a lot of guests and even against Patrice Fuckin' O'Neal. No scheming bullshit like Sam Roberts. He just couldn't play the game as well as Sam could ( no one could dance the dance like Sam could). Also, Danny's shrieking laughter made a lot of the bits way more funnier. He got and acknowledged a lot of Anthony's little quips that Opie bulldozed over.
Gtfoh if your definition of " standing his ground" was throwing out generic, corny insults then running to the bosses to cry every time he got made fun of ,then sure.
@@FURTHER_ADO Do you wanna talk about this? Cuz we can.
@@PancakesHouse shut up
@@PancakesHouse you were an overly venomous, whining, annoying douchebag and every time I heard you arguing with people on the show all I wanted was for one of them to beat the shit out of you. Even with bobo. You always had to slightly cross the line from being funny to sounding like you were really enjoying bullying a retarded guy. From what I’ve read you have blown many opportunities and have faded into obscurity exactly where you belong. Seriously though fck you Danny.
"Stood his ground against the best"... Wtf show were you listening to? Blind Stevie got in his kitchen and verbally owned him. Same with Mars. Ridiculous.
Is this one edited? If so I'm glad I ripped the original
The Obsoletist makes no sense to delete it.. we've all rip it

If you like O&A during that time, you're a fan of Danny's talent.

This is a great interview but I don't dig the music bed. This content is interesting enough to stand on it's own without the music. Especially since Danny's mic/phone is already kind of hard to hear.
What ever happened with Danny and the show? And why all the hate from you guys?? I’m lost
A "Documentary" is mentioned several times here, as though this interview is part of that. Can someone enlighten me?
He means his (Porsalin's) documentary on here about Sam, The Least Professional Broadcaster
This interview was clipped and put into Porsalin's documentary on Sam - "The least Professional Broadcaster"
I'd love to sit down and buy Danny a beer. I bet his perspective of O&A's downfall would be amazing to hear.
But I'd REALLY like to hear the inside dirt over a beer that Danny won't say openly...you know the stuff that him, ERock and Sam don't speak of for the sake of their futures and careers.
@@SpiceeMustard I hear you, but I don't trust him to be honest lol at all
@@corystheboss Neither do I! Haha. He's someone I've never met and only know from the show and his social media/reddit presence.
That's why I'd want it to be face-to-face over a beer. If he's bullshitting you can tell after a few drinks when the web unravels.
But if the web stays in-tact. Then there would be some good shit to hear.
But even if he's full of shit it would give a good insight into the stuff we didn't hear on the air or hasn't come out (yet).
I just think, either way, it would be an enlightening experience. As O&A used to say: "For the story".
BK MONEYSTACKS haha. This exactly. Fuck your beer.
Why is there a funeral home music bed?
Joe Derosa went "against the *GRAIN* "???!!!!!
Joe Derosa and his awful laugh/Im one of the guys attitude, is unbearable.
Joe Derosa is not one of the guys. He is a high school beta. Who got into an industry.
Only at subways, that jared look-alike
When you have Bill Burr talking about you all the time and still nobody cares that let's you know your talent level. He runs a sandwich shop at a NY comedy club now.
I was childhood friends with his younger brother.
No you weren’t.
@@antonio.derosas wow. You are a fucking loser.
Patrice didn't like Danny......that's all you need to know.
The forced jocktobers were the best.
Danny was great on Uninformed
I think that people who have a problem with Danny would probably have a problem with me in many cases.
He and Kenny are my favorite people from that whole show, or maybe David Fried would beat them both out (I very much appreciated David just not playing along with the establishment illegitimate hierarchical bullshit and not kissing peoples asses like others did).
I looked up Danny's name in the credits for Red Dead Redemption 2 and it said "Facial Scan:: Danny Ross" and I'm wondering if that means his face was scanned, or he did the facial scans of people for the game or perhaps both.
danny didnt kiss people asses because he was a little shit who thought being friends with ant would protect him from everyone.
Danny is a smarmy arrogant dickhead who tried to hang with the comedians. When he's doing his job or in the background he's fine, if he tries to flex any knowledge or debate he's very unlikeable, so the fact that you are similar makes complete sense.
Are you a smarmy douche too? Lol
Yawn
@@TL2354 Not getting enough oxygen to your brain there, Sally?
I know I’m really late. But what did Danny do to get fired in the first place?
The final straw was bringing a pornstar to some family company thing and giving attitude to his bosses when he was dressed down for it. I'm sure it was coming though
Why do you keep deleting and re uploading videos
Previous Danny vid had some 'off the record' shit
Yes but surely that was part of what made it so funny and he didn't really say that bad stuff off the record

All he did was speculate on Sam's current salary. I bet he contacted you and threatened a lawsuit or something.
I've heard those people are known to do that.
He also talked about how he wrote a few chapters of a "tell all" O and A book, and realized it was retarded and stopped writing it, commented on how he thought Cumia's book is a waste of time too.

4th comment. i hate danny more every minute that passes
Normal response to Danny
oh fuck danny, jocktober was awesome
Agree, I loved Jocktober and I hate to have to agree with Danny BUT I agree that it would've been better in smaller doses. As he said, there were gems (Terry Clifford, etc.) but there was also a lot of boring shit. They could've cut a lot of fat off that bit. I think Opie became obsessed with it once he saw all the negative audience feedback about it. He loves intentionally irritating people. Mainly because he's not capable of doing anything else.
