Patrice always was able to see there was something off about Danny. If you listen to all the old O&A clips when Steve and Danny would argue.
Danny was always insufferable. He was actually right a couple of times, but his attitude and the way he spoke to people just turned me against him. Steve C was right.

Anthony is terrible when it comes to choosing friends and girlfriends. He picks the most damaged, disloyal people and gives them everything. It's amazing how someone so quick-witted, honest, and entertaining can put the blinders on with almost everyone he surrounds himself with.

I posted a comment on Reddit saying how Patrice picked up on the fact that Danny was paranoid and there was something wrong with him. Danny showed up on the thread posting unhinged comments. His response to me was something about how Patrice is dead because couldn’t stop eating junk food and he was a hypocrite for the way he talked about women when he had a girlfriend… Such a vile POS.
Danny posts on onaforums every single day trying to correct the record and people bully him nonstop. It's amazing that he hasn't just ended it all yet.

You always had in the back of your mind (especially when he attacked others and thought he was somehow a member of the elite because he drank with Anthony - so few few few few (few) people did that --that the O & A gig was the best that Danny would ever get.

Artie doesn't let the room breathe for half a second. Gavin's too similar to Ant. Ant is good with a foil like Joe DeVito once in a while, even Opie in small doses was a good counter to his craziness. Jim even played a foil to Ant at times.

I started listening to o&a a few years ago and I assumed Danny was beloved. I think he was funny as hell on the show, I definitely didn't think he was not liked now lol. I don't know the stories of how these guys left the show like Steve c. Wild how things end up with the stern and o&a show employees.
Poor Steve c was fired by xm and was rumored that it was because of opie. Unfortunately he killed himself, what fucking sucked was that after people on the O&A show got fired they would always bad mouth them but Steve in every interview and internet never talk bad about them.
@tsundokus opie seems to be a real dicklick on and off the mic. From what I've heard Steve added a lot and i laugh at almost everything he did whether on purpose or not lol. It's to bad he off'd himself, he seemed like a good dude. I still haven't found the first times they started the gay Steve thing and how it even started. Appreciate you filling me in tho!! Sirius said the show didn't need an executive producer. You'll notice they never had another one after Steve was fired. As to Opie having a hand in it, couldn't tell ya, but wouldn't put it past him with the information we have about Opie now.
@@cody1482 they did have a couple of replacement after steve 2 i believe. in a rant ant which take it with a grain of salt from him but he said that they never lasted because opie would make such a big stink about them not doing their job correctly that he would get them fired/replace. after the 2 one management just stop hiring for that position and they just limp along until the firings.

Joe Derosa was HORRIBLE at stand-up comedy he was riding the coat tails of bill burr & bobby kelly & rick vos as soon as rhose guys moved on from o & A days he had to open sandwich shop to make a living because he cant sell tickets without those guys.
Years ago before I knew about them, Danny was selling those home made jail broken Rose console thingies that had like hundreds of Genesis and SNES games on them, only like $100, so I dmed him but mentioned I wouldn't have the money yet so I wasn't ready to buy.
Well he kept dming me and after like 1 month he just blocked me... I was gonna buy it lol, just was on a tight budget..
He really went off the deep end. I bet he's the type of guy that when I said I wanted to buy one, he already spent the profits he would've made off me lol

I’ll still say Ant and Jim are responsible for a huge percent of my laughs. But the irony of Ant getting mad that people make “accusations” after calling everyone “groomers” BECAUSE he said himself he likes underage girls.
He and Florentine talked about “keeping an eye on” girls as young as 13 to bang when when they’re of age.

And Florentine (who don’t get me wrong I find funny and is responsible for some great metal recommendations) was talking before he was married about chatting up a 15 year old and being around to “build credit” when she turns of age.
If it was 19 and 16 then I wouldn’t have said anything. Shouldn’t happen but it’s not monstrous. I’m talking about when they both said “there’s 13-15 year olds that are mature enough to date” and “these kids are banging each other before they’re 15 and it’s not okay for me?”.
And when Patrice was in talking about that documentary that guy did showing Thailand where adult US men go to bang underage girls. Patrice asked “if there were no laws how old would” and Ant quickly said “14”. And then there’s him liking posts and following very underage girls and Chrissy defends him with “she looks at least 17”. She definitely did not.
Why defend this stuff when we know what we know? Now I 100% understand not wanting to make accusations about that because it is so barbaric. But if he is going to suggest other people who simple disagree with him are “groomers” while bragging about having young girls over to his house along with everything else how could you not be suspicious?
patrice’s O&A #93 ‘everybody hates steve carlesi’ show i think perfectly encapsulated danny’s smug attitude. really turned me on him, tbh. still think his laugh was one of the best in studio next to norton’s, though.

Remember Patrice vs. Danny? Danny was more or less in the right about not wanting to possibly infect his computer with viruses and malware from a sketchy movie download site. But more to the point; how do you learn that lesson in the first place?
From being someone who downloads illegal porno and underground videos from the internet circa 2001. That's how.
And how do you become that someone? By having rich parents who set you up with a top of the line computer to shut you up. And because you don't care about paying for the computer, you become popular at school because you're the kid who has the connection to all the nastiest stuff online. You gain friends by giving them copies of movies, music and software you've illegally downloaded. You can worm your way into practically any social group. Or career.
All the sickest stuff used for material during the "golden age" of O&A came from Danny. Once he used it to befriend Ant personally, it went to his head and he thought he was more important than Patrice. And Patrice rightfully called him out on it.
In the early 2000's every major city college had a Danny Ross. It's just a gross guy who was willing to go places on the internet that mentally healthy people never even thought about. Listen to any O&A where Danny is talking about porno. It's clear as day, and this is always how guys like that end up, unless they Minecraft themselves like Lowtax.

For all of his foibles, Opie understood radio a lot better than Ant, Jimmy and any other of the comedians that graced the studio with their presence. People forget that many of their favorite O&A moments germinated from one of the many seeds Opie planted on a daily basis. You need only to see the resulting lackluster podcasts that remain in the aftermath of the collapse of O&A to understand it's true value. Once in a while you'll get something great from a bunch of comedians just talking, but not as much as you do from a group of comedians focused on one subject. Gregg "Opie" Hughes was the best at wrangling comedians big and small into situations that focused their talents and produced truly memorable radio.
With that said, Danny Ross is a loser and deserves nothing.
