Too funny, as I was down there two weeks ago visiting my parents. We went to Brandon one day and passed through Mulberry on SR60. There were no trains running at all. Could have been the time of day. Great video!

I don't know what tank trains you listen to but the ones I watch here in the midwest often have severe flat spots that make me wonder what they are still doing under placarded, hazardous , explosive shipments?
Here in Montgomery Alabama we used to have a crossing just like this across the highway until they removed it in 2013. The tracks are still there but its out of service.
I'm going to Florida, in a couple of months. Not quite to Bone Valley, but definitely along the old SAL and ACL lines, plus FEC and the Royal Palm Railway Experience! Also gonna take a look at the Augusta, Georgia 6th street street running, after that! :D
Nice Audi, JT. Yours or a rental? That was a long train. Lots of impatient drivers sitting there. The angle at which the tracks cross the highway is quite steep. Thanks for another entertaining video!
My sister is in the New York Army National Guard, and as fate would have it, she was out to raise her first son that fateful day. Hi MrJawtooth, So your down in Distant Signal, Danny Harmon territory I'm a fan of his to. He does a lot work in the Florida, Georgia area. And I have WWOT in New York he's got some excellent train videos, then I subscribe to your channel, so I stay entertained. So you and the guys keep doing what you do best, keep'em coming.

So interesting on that wiiiiiiiiide angle Route 60 crossing, that the crossing protection releases for the one direction, while the train is still occupying the crossing to traffic going in the other direction. Do they activate at the same time, or are there two different circuits in play here?
I noticed that too. Was thinking that it was going to be a long wait after the last car cleared the whole crossing. So it was nice to see that the signalling guys had thought of that. I'd guess that they both start at the same time though. Would be interesting to know.
