This was the 1st ABCT 3rd ID, a sister unit to the 2nd ABCT 3rd ID which completed fully modernized armored brigade combat team status in 2023 (The 1st in the US Army). 1/3 is currently in process of doing the same. This includes Abrams SepV3 tanks (Received in 2023), M2A4 Bradley infantry combat vehicles (Received in 2023/24), M109A7 Paladin Integrated Management howitzers (Received in 2022), Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicles (Received in 2023/24) & Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (Received in 2019).
