mint you should check out halo mods. 343 isn't gonna be releasing official stuff. focus on the future of halo. which is modding as many good mods have come out. the mcc and infinite has sailed and we are bored of playing the same maps and campaigns over and over. The MCC mods provide many new weapons, enemies and maps to play on. like tex arena from darksteel or some of my mods with the dinosaurs.
microsoft yeah 343 not so much MS was the party responsible for making 343 change Halo to "fit the modern gaming climate", presumedly to make as much money as possible. This failed, as we saw, when Halo players rejected all the changes from 4, 5, and now Infinite, though infinite was moreso released in an unfinished state (again, you can thank MS for that.) and had actually brought the gameplay itself more in line with what we all expect from a Halo game. It's sad af to see it flop as the game itself, when it works and has content, is awesome. MS is killing Halo, 343 is scrambling to put the pieces back together and the community is caught in the middle of it. Halo WAS "the modern gaming climate" back in the old days. HALO set the standard. These days MS wants to abandon that and follow the herd, and it has been an utter failure. So now they make 343 squeeze every dime out of the remaining players to make up the difference. Fuck microsoft
@attached3245 actually no, 343 is actually spearheading the downfall, i forgot the videos name but its like 20-30 minutes and it goes into detail about all there wrong-doings
Frank O'Connor almost single-handedly trashed the lore that Bungie had crafted. Probably the only thing that would've saved his "lore" was Greg Bear's writing, and Frank apparently kept dipping his hands into the pot with that. Also it was Bonnie Ross' brilliant idea to make Frank the head of the franchise (but I guess this is a direct indictment of Microsoft, so kind of a moot point).
Microsoft doesn't want Halo fans. They want Halo consumers, who will suck up everything that they will shit out.I won't be surprised if they are tanking the MCC and Infinite on purpose so not only get as much money but also so they get rid of the old gaurd "problematic" individuals so not only they have onwership of the franchise but get full of control of it aswell. I won't be surprised if the Halo CE remake is a reboot set in the Silver timeline.
Yeah fr bro. Halo deserves better than becoming a storefront. The sad thing is they know all we want is a good campaign and finished multiplayer with Reach-style spartans, and they can't even give us that. Idc of there would be a store, as long as most stuff can be earned instead of bought.
If they make a CE Remake but reboot it in the pile of shit and sad excuse for a Halo Universe that Kiki Wolfkill and Paramount keep trying to shove into the true Halo Fan's Faces than at that point I'll be pretty much done with modern and future Halo Games. It's also sad how Phil Spencer doesn't have any high standards for Halo because he's obviously allowing 343 to just get away with this shit and deserves blame for Halo becoming so irrelevant now.
its been that way since 4 for me. I lost interest after that one, despite my best to give it a fair shake, i could not continue. How other people carried on is beyond me. I even decided to give Infinite a chance a week ago, and I regret all my time with it, it's horrible.
343 is probably the worst game development studio in history. edit: I have decided that Fntastic is actually probably the worst game development studio in history.
@@VaporShiroVTuberChAnd they hate the Original Bungie Developers as well. It's hypocritical how they just kept ignoring the opportunities they've had to hire for example Marty O'Donnell because of his Ego but their literally showing their massive Egos as well with how they've been so against hiring anyone of the Creators of Halo. And Joe Staten at 343 doesn't count unfortunately because it was too little too late by the time he got there and they just used him to deliver bad news instead of helping with Infinite's Average at best Campaign.
@@GamerJlee it's why we can never have many good franchises anymore. All the consoomers like throwing their money away. It's the same state that COD, Star Wars, Marvel is in right now, poor quality but has an army of Redditors to defend it
The lack of good content coming from 343 killed my channel. Halo is literally one of my favourite games ever and millions more people love or loved this game, and all it took to kill it was hiring people who didn't care about the game. Bungie cared, so why didn't Microsoft build 343 from the Bungie devs who didn't want to leave and let THEM decide what was best for the franchise.
@@GamerJlee Paul Bertone did apply to work at 343, so I think there were actually a few big names who wanted to continue working on Halo even though Jason Jones wanted to give Halo the axe (but couldn't because of the contract to put out two more Halo games).
@@spycheesy He betrays him not once, but twice across the trilogy. First after he reveals Halo's _real_ purpose, and again when he realizes he's about to lose his replacement ring to the _same guy that destroyed the first._
Because the MCC is the only good thing to come out of this company. Yes, it had a SHIT start, but look at everything it has to offer now. The mod support is what is keep Halo alive.
I would dream with that because Halo 3 multiplayer has a gamebreaking bug when you use the new 343 skins, the annoying stuttering from Halo 2 anniversary and hackers/cheating issues. They should remove aim assist from Halo forever and replace it with gyro aiming, replace that dated version of FSR with the latest one, fix Halo 2's sound mixing.
@@ValuableBlueberry The game always crashes after one multiplayer match when the 343 skins are enabled for Halo 3 multiplsyer, ODST doesn't have issues.
The same way Disney is fumbling Star Wars and Ubisoft fumbling assassin’s creed. When you hire DEI and you put people in that have no business being involved because they want to tell their own stories, this is what you get. When you hire people that don’t have the ability because you have to fill a box. This is what you get.
@@ccjs7932 it’s sad to understand the fact that in their eyes they ain’t fumbling because it’s all about money and pushing agendas, selfish and destructive agendas
There’s just no sense of direction (outside of the store that is), and they’re certainly not listening to the community. They shutdown halo waypoint comments because they cannot handle constructive criticism and honest feedback. During the Bungie era of Halo, I watched in awe as they created some of the best FPS games of all time. Now I look at 343’s games and think I could have done better than them if I was in a leadership position… I think that is the most frustrating element, why should I, an unqualified individual be a better candidate to lead this game forward than anyone in leadership right now? I guess it’s just because I actually love Halo, maybe that is just the missing ingredient.
There’s no sense of direction even in the story. It’s been all over the place since Halo 4 because as soon as the community gives them backlash, they course correct hard.
@@GamerJleethen cry at more criticism, all they have is people who hate halo and the fans. Especially bad when having someone hired who says he hates guns and violence, is he he a hypocrite then if he works on a game that doesn't have guns but melee violence?
They freaking had it, season 5 things were looking up and players were coming back, but they had to resort to being 343 again. I don’t hate the game, but Microsoft really fucked up it’s potential
Microsoft didn’t do anything wrong. It’s 343 industries that is to blame for their incompetence in messing up a game with infinite potential and Halo Infinite was that game it did not deserve to fail.
@@iLegionaire3755 I feel like they played a bigger part. Yes 343 made bad decisions, but Microsoft is the one that implemented the contracting policy, so no one could remain at 343 to learn the engine, and the new hires would spend more time learning the engine before they could actually make content. I’m not saying 343 isn’t responsible for anything, after all, their decisions and mentality into making halo 4 and 5 made it clear they are unqualified to make halo. But Microsoft is definitely pulling more strings
343 had multiple shots at redemption. Infinite took twice as long to develop than ANY other Halo game, and it didn’t release with half, but a TENTH of what it was expected to have at launch. I haven’t picked up Infinite in damn near a year and I’ve realized that I haven’t missed anything. They didn’t just massacre my boy, they murdilated it.
What was expected? They couldn't even live up to what halo ce launched with for the second time in a row despite halo 4 at least giving us a similar lineup on all fronts to 3. I don't expect the second coming of halo reach but I do expect them to meet the standards they set
I knew what was coming since Halo 4 released. Once they completely changed the art style and story I saw the writing on the wall - they weren't like Bungie, and Halo would never be the same again. I don't know why anyone is surprised, it was obvious from the beginning.
Same. It was a crysis cod ripoff, the nanosuit tech and the COD mechanics. Im glad I dipped afterwards even though I play infinite every now and then when I dont have XBL..
Halo 4’s weapon balance/sandbox, awful game mechanics, and terrible AI really showed the flaws. I have no clue why there are people who like Halo 4’s campaign. From a gameplay perspective, its mistakes are far worse than CE, 2, and 3’s mistakes. And it was the newer title.
I was young and excited just getting into halo when 4 came out. It got me to play all the other ones. 2 being my favorite to this day. After replaying all the campaigns I can't bring myself to finish 4. It just doesn't feel fun to play. I can boot up ce, 2, or 3 any day and just sit back and have a good time.
I thought the Juggernaut mode was already in the game, fans really had to make it themselves because 343 did not add it? what other modes are missing here? I knew grif ball may take time to add since they screwed up the hammer making it slow for some reason.
Modes like action sack are also missing or they're just "exclusive" modes in halo 5s case... there's more im sure but it's been so long since I even bothered with halo, for whatever reason on halo 5 super fiesta is always on there though
Well is infection even in the fuckin game yet? Infection has been a mode that has lasted the tests of time over and over being one of halos most popular modes, and yet both 5 and infinite didn't have it at launch, instead 5 at least got it way too long after release. A cornerstone gamemode being sidelined for literally nothing
@@brenscott5416 Too bad Shitlo 5 gutted the social playlists they put in so much work to even have a lot of those game modes in in the first place 343 fans will gaslight me saying "their servers can't handle all the playlists" My brother in Christ.... MICROSOFT OWNS THEM ☠️
@@Malpais-Legate ya no if the servers can't handle infection I have to ask why they even fucking bothered. If the servers for halo 1 and 2 can both handle more then you should probably not be releasing a game in the same series as them. Anyway, the lack of infection speaks volumes to me, a top 3 most popular gamemode was not around at launch for both of the last 2 halo games tells me where the priorities lay, and it's not in what's good for the player. They made sure the storefront was working fine in both games, even if the games didn't have fucking infection, you could definitely buy garbage and spend real money Edit: my God, a year and 7 months after release is when infinite got infection. A touch over a year ago is when we were able to play one of the most popular halo game modes in halo, period, in a game that wasn't the classics, because let's face it, no one was doing shit with halo 5

@@saricubra2867 ironically, even Halo CE had far more level diversity than infinite. infinite just took the "halo" level design and just made it the base map. Halo ce atleast had made creative adjustments to each level to not let them feel like a carbon copy of the last time. unlike infinite.
My first real introduction to Halo was with Reach back when it first came out, from there I went back and played games like Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo CE, Halo Wars, and I even played Halo 4. I didn't play Halo 5 or Halo Infinite for reasons of my Xbox One imploding and have been gaming on PC ever since. It's sad to see this wonderful series go the way it has.
I only play the mcc custom browser atp. I just have little desire to return to infinite. They should just build off of Halo 3 and make a true sequel/spin off to that game
I believe they cannot legally use the name Griffball anymore. The gamemode may also have some legal issues as well. The new owners of the RoosterTeeth copyrighted and trademarked everything RvB related including the characters’ names.
Still going to play Bungie halos with mods. Wont buy a new halo game until i see some major improvement. Coming for a fan who played Halo 2 2004 on OG Xbox.
I played Halo Infinite for about 2 weeks when it came out and I haven't touched it or any other 343 Halo game since. I am utterly fed up with 343 and have been for a long time now
recently, i got back into infinite, and it's really fun for its repetitive gameplay loop while i know it isn't doing amazing, it's definitely a breath of fresh air, i was never really able to get behind older Halo games movement or shooting enjoyable - but not amazing just yet.
i havent touched a Halo game since REACH on xbox 360 and i do not regret a thing.... the game franchise ended there for me and i refuse to buy any remakes/anniversary editions, i remember playing halo3 and reach in the original days (2007 to 2013) and those were the best
halo infinite has been my breaking point with 343 took my absolute favorite fps series of all time, one that defined the genre for a decade, one that basically was it’s own genre for a long time id argue, and just continuously fucked something up i kept giving them chances, halo 5 sucked, halo mcc was broken at launch, halo 4s art style change, but i kept giving them chances some of those chances were because i was a kid who didn’t know any better, but even as i grew older and halo infinite was being marketed and hyped, i got really hyped then i played it and although i loved the campaign and had a lot of fun, the state multiplayer was in at launch it was it was just unacceptable and as the seasons came out and some of my favorite modes like infection still weren’t in, the coating systems, the old arbitrary limits on the armor customization, the pathetic weapons and vehicle sandbox, their appeasement of the hcs and competitive players to the detriment of everyone else, the shop, it just when infection finally was added, it just broke me like, wow, you took like 1 or 2 years to add infection, something that should’ve been there AT. LAUNCH. i had given 343 my last chance, and they fumbled it the halo show getting cancelled has been the best thing for this franchise since official mcc mod support unless they get their shit together and make a great halo game, im just gonna stick to mcc and the halo wars duology for my halo fix infinite is just not worth it
I’m just sick of hearing about 343. Everytime I hear about them it makes me remember they exist, and causes immense displeasure in my day. I wish it wasn’t like this, but they took my childhood and ruined it.
Only did Campaign for Infinite and maybe an operation or two. I haven't touched it since. You really only need the MCC, and that's it. It's such a shame how Halo went out...
That’s what forge is used for now….a lazy scape goat for 343 to rely on the community to make the games for them. There’s better games out there now…I wouldn’t bother playing or even reporting about 343’s Halos anymore. They are at the point where they don’t even deserve to stand on a negative stage now.
Private Equity I think its called? Suck a IP dry of all the cash it can supply and discard it. Supposedly its bigger and more profitable than Amazon. You want to stop it become a vampire slayer
It is quite unbelievable how Halo has become such a joke. Going after people like Mint Blitz and other og fans trying their best to support a positive community is just sad. Halo is so damaged. I’m someone who has loved halo my whole life. One of my favourite memories as a young 7 or 8 year old kid was playing Halo 1 on the OG Xbox at my neighbors back in like 2004 (split screen too) It sparked a love for these games that only grew over time. Eventually tried Halo 2 and then got a 360 when Halo 3 came out. Got into Xbox live and the whole golden era kicked off. It was so special. I had MCC installed permanently for like almost 10 years. Even if I didn’t always play it, it’s Halo. But recently I’ve just felt this feeling of fading away from it. The one game I thought I’d never give up on. That magic is just almost complete gone. They’ve really really hurt this game and its legacy. I uninstalled it and haven’t gone back. This franchise really needs to be fixed and brought back into focus. Cause this is just sad. New fans don’t get what they’re being deprived of, and old fans are just watching their childhood die. I want kids now to experience what we got. It’s never too late to recapture magic.
Right, and the community is the one that helped them make it. Do they get paid? No, they get a little shout out in the corner of the trailer and the blog. WOOOO!
@GamerJlee to be fair, adding content to the game as a player is like making mods. Modders sometimes don't care about money. They do it for fun and for the passion they have for the game (skyrim, fallout, left 4 dead) so expecting money for adding content as a player is stupid. And if the players REALLY want to send a message, just stop making maps and modes. Simple
@@dc3747I think this some stupid logic, considering the players who made the mode are not the ones announcing it or distributing the mode. Sure, they can work for free, but the truth of the matter is that 343 is exploiting the abused Halo community for their own gain.
@burnttoast.2017 it's definitely exploitation, but you can't have a king without a kingdom. If all content creators and halo infinite players simultaneously agreed and said, hey we're getting screwed here, let's not make anymore content for them, then they'd get off their ass and support the game themselves. If players complain but continue making content for 343,they're still feeding. The same goes with games like cod. Players complain about issues yet still spend money on the shop. Do you want change? Prove it. Drop the game, don't play it, and don't show any interest until change is done.
@@flameosaurus1832 don’t get me wrong I’m still a bungie fan and I haven’t touched infinite since the firefight update came out. But thats cause there wasnt anything new for the campaign and it didn’t have much replay value, so I actually don’t care anymore unlike this youtuber.
343 doesn't even know what to do now. All the content that should have been here since the beginning, hell Bungie were on tighter schedules and they made more despite dealing with several problems with each game they developed.
343i has disappointed on multiple occasions, but Microsoft deserves a lot of blame too. Halo's biggest strength was its community and the relationship between the developer. The insistence on hiring loads of contract work to cut costs has decimated this game. Infinite should've been a successful game. The gameplay is there. But the management wasn't.
Thank God for mcc. Now if only I could play halo reach infection the way it was realeased. No fuckin powerhouse, countdown, uncaged, asylum, and many more maps. Wish they would fix it but I guess adding new themes is more important
Imagine singling out your biggest fans, that are clearly well-intended in their criticisms, and labeling them as haters… 🤡🤡 Sadly, this has happened since 343’s inception.
I have been playing any Halo game since ODST, I absolutely loved CE to five, story or gameplay I loved Halo, but ever since the Master chief collection I have truly lost faith in Halo. It makes me sad I have to kiss this childhood classic away, especially in a time where nowadays companies want slop over quality.
When Halo Infinite came out, I try to defend 343, saying the good things the game has to offer and later the things will be better, now I regret this. Tons of fucking content going to the trash, literally we can do a video of 1 and an half hours with only the content we know was cut thanks to the files of the game, like the Falcon, The Doubke Barrel Brute themed shotgun with a mini gravity hammer as melee, the Forrouner pistol that shoots kinda of green explosions, the og shotgun, the Fuel Rod, the Covenant Carabine, the Brute LMG, the Cougar IFV vehicle, the same vehicule but Covenant version that is in the fucking campaing as a destroyed prop, variants of vehicles like a shotgun wasp. Things that really should added but for some fucking reason we only get a fucking DMR that is not named DMR (I really like this DMR but the point is that it come very late) and the same Spartan Power Ups but a little change, like the Sensors thing, they are the fucking same thing but one last 1 second and the other stays longer. Fuck this game
Same the game title and had to immediately subscribe. I’m a huge halo fan and have been since ODST. It’s upsetting to know how bad infinite is and how quickly it actually killed off its last remaining community members. I actually recently made a video very briefly talking about it since forge was the biggest reason why I initially didn’t get infinite. For creative efforts, u gotta give the community the keys to the car and let them create something firsthand. Well made video ❤
We need a company that enjoys the old Halo games to bring them back with a reboot under a different name. Same game play, just different name and visuals as to avoid copyright.
It is fucking insane what Halo used to be and what it is now. I USED to be the BIGGEST fanboy of this game growing up but once Halo 5 released it all died for me.
Halo ended where it started. Reach was a proper send off to an absolutely amazing IP that should have been layed to rest. Halo went full circle as it was planned out. Its amazing that people still think halo has any weight after the more than a decade long mistreatment by 343. It should have been apparent with 4, but some were to blind to see the holes in the haul. The people who did see got on the life boats and are on some island or another boat for awhile. Halo will never be the same and that is something everyone has to accept. The destruction of the lore, the art style, gameplay, multi-player, etc has been know forever and people expect it to change. Its like lucy pulling the football away from Charlie brown. She has done it over a dozen times, but this time you think shes legit. You run up to kick it like a hundred times before, but that same shit happens. Yet 343 shills will get back up and do it again without hesitation. The state of this so-called community is pathetic. No other gaming group makes this many excuses and defends a multi-million dollar like the halo community. When battlefield 2042 released and was received horribly, no one made excuses for what they knew they were doing. The people went ballistic. You'll never see that with modern halo fans, they have been bred and taught to be sheep that will take anything that is given to them. Absolute Stockholm Syndrome. It is never going to get better, and the sooner everyone accepts that, then the sooner we can enjoy our lives again. I hate to sound negative, but the truth hurts and its been there in your face for 14 years. It is a crime such an incredible franchise as it was was theown into the dirt and stomped on unto you couldn't tell the earth from what it once was. This is the same fate as many others series in this current world. Halo was fun, but its finished.
FYI: Assault isn’t ready. Although it has been present in the API for a while and has received updates for months, it still does not work in the retail version.
It’s sad to see they don’t care anymore I’ve loved this franchise since I was 7 or 8 and I remember staying up all night watching halo lore videos on RUclips and getting ecstatic getting my hands on a pc and first thing I did was buy halo reach, ce, and 2 with my birthday money and playing the hell out of them and for the last 3 or 4 years been loving these games mistakes and all I’m only sorry I never got to see it at its prime but hopefully one day it’ll get its doom 2016 revival and we can come back to it. It’s only a cash cow now but I’ll remember it as the peak golden franchise it once was.
I've always said the last best halo was Reach. I tried 4 but it didn't have the same impact and I skipped pver the rest of the franchise from there on. It's unfortunate, truly. Had the best times in Reach
I never played Infinite after the closed beta and campaign... I am glad I stayed away. However I really miss Halo 5's arena and want it on PC. After all the patches and content updates it became my 2nd favorite multiplayer after CE. You can hate on me if you want but Halo 5's arena was an excellent arena shooter on consoles.
To me, Halo was killed by 343’s and Microsoft’s continued mismanagement. At this point, fans can probably make a better Halo than 343! I still don’t think 343 knows what Halo is actually about or what made it special to the millions of people who’ve played it over the years.
Grifball not being in the game from the start huh..?? I've been waiting for someone to address the fact that 343 doesn't even have grifball in the core playlists for the longest time now, I like how they went through the trouble of even having it be a thing in Shitlow 5 just to remove it and all the other playlists in social just to put it into a stupid event type rotation, they even do this shit on mcc sometimes, I don't want to sit here and play comp or big team all the time man, you know why people loved og halo so much? VARIETY, you could have your cake and eat it, there wasn't no quirky mode rotation bullshit going on or anything like that, you had literally EVERY mode available then and there!!!! It's beyond inexcusable that for YEARS they still fail to understand this concept The worst excuse ive ever seen defenders of 343 make is "their servers can't handle all the modes" to which I will say: Bullshit 343 can't even have the basics of halo nailed, especially when halo shidfinites over here getting praised on release being called a "original halo game" Yeah AR spam fests with weak power weapons/vehicles that are unrewarding to pick up/drive let alone use are so original.... cool ass armor your forced to BUY and not EARN is soooo original- if you're playing halo your playing a carcass, 343 doesn't care about you, they are just another EA here for you money and here to make you miserable, there's plenty of more games to enjoy from devs that actually love their games and fanbases, stop getting your hopes up going forward guys, 343 had so many years to just simply build on a once amazing universe yet their pride- their egos effectively killed the franchise, it's not much different from what disney did to star wars, stop being a victim to 343, the people in charge there have 0 fucks to give about how you spend your free time. -There's always going to be some dorito eating dew chugging basement slug telling you "casuals go play against covenant" when you get tired of 343 caring more for the esports part of things more than the whole community -There's always going to be something involving YOU paying money just to try and either have an edge in clearly pay to play type modes (warzone) or just to even have better cosmetics -There's always going to be horrible weapon balancing, wether there's op magnums (halo 5) or op ARs (halo 4 and infinite) -Vehicles are always gonna be made of Styrofoam and die to a few bullets -There's always going to be blatant neglect towards the people that ironically make up the majority of any fanbase - casuals -there's always going to be a rejection of full variety in the game modes you play -there's always going to be horrible mistreatment of the story, lore, characters and campaign of halo -There's always gonna be sprint -And there's always going to be a malicious hatred for original halo So long as you have 343 your going to have these issues! Stop giving this AWFUL company chances, halos already dead, but it's certainly not gonna have even a 1% chance to come back if you give this awful company another chance.
I feel like the fact that Microsoft or 343 are trying to “remake” the og CE and the trilogy to make an attempt of A: Erase from everyone’s mind that the game was originally made by Bungie, don’t forget how they treated some of the Bungie employees and wanted to transform Halo on their own format which we already saw how that went. And B: They might attempt to remove or not make the MCC no longer accessible in Steam or replace it with their new edition of “remake” to try to nickel and dime the hardcore Halo fans with hiked up prices of the game or just blatant insulting cosmetics with insulting prices. So I wanna warn any halo fan here to be weary, things are going turn into a huge clusterfuck for the IP going forward.
Wait, a minute? They're still updating this? (Looks at player numbers) Aha, 200k on launch and dropped to 2k now. Well, as a Battlefield player, I can tell you guys, that if you want change, you need to watch it die and most importantly, the culprits go brankrupt and get fired. I haven't bought or played a new BF game since BF1 and I'm still enjoying that one (the rest is woke teitter crap) and even if they shut it down, we're just gonna make our own servers. But yes, morale of the story: Don't give any franchise your money or time, if the companies are pieces of shit. They won't change, until they're burned down without a trace.
The fact that battlefield 1 is still highly active makes me so happy. No virtue signaling, no crappy call-of-duty gameplay, just pure mayhem in the best way.
The part that scares me are the videos other creators make showing how “anti-bungie” 343 are, their ego is in the way of our franchise Anyway happy Bungie Day 🎉😂
I've been done since Infinite came out, i only played the test beta, and i'm proud to say i''ve never actually downloaded the full game. I no longer support 343 despite being a Halo fan for 2 decades, as long as 343 is in charge, halo will continue to suffer. There are still 28+ missing weapons from previous halo games (31 if you count turrets) multiple missing game modes, and basically zero social features. Im not shocked there's only 3,000 - 5,000 daily players (my highschool had a larger population) Pretty sad when one of the greatest IP's in FPS gaming history has been diluted down to the population of a single highschool in the US.
I became a Halo fan after the MCC released on PC and I got to play the original trilogy + Reach for the first time. Halo Infinite released one year later in 2021 and I just lost all interest in the franchise. I noped out of the multiplayer after seeing the ridiculously overpriced store items, the super predatory battle pass, and the lack of game modes and features that Halo games 10+ years old had at launch. I played the campaign through Game Pass and was left thoroughly underwhelmed. I still have the MCC installed in case I feel like playing through the campaigns again, but I'm not touching any future Halo content.
Just play the community mods. Will pay Ruby of Blue some when Halo 2 Rebalanced comes out, 343 on the other hand won't ever see a penny from me no more
I still can not go over the fact they hate their own ip and mock their fans on Twitter. This company is out of this world. And do not start with all the waiting for empty promises over 10 years now.
Lmfao you made me laugh.
Thanks I needed that.
I know right? How can you be a hate channel when you're the biggest ass licker out there

It is absolutely criminal the state that this once beautiful franchise is in. I hate 343 and I hate Microsoft.
It’s just said how a mighty franchise that used to be innovative, and competitive with other top names has fallen so low.
microsoft yeah
343 not so much
MS was the party responsible for making 343 change Halo to "fit the modern gaming climate", presumedly to make as much money as possible.

They shutdown halo waypoint comments because they cannot handle constructive criticism and honest feedback. During the Bungie era of Halo, I watched in awe as they created some of the best FPS games of all time. 3 steps forwards 343 steps backwards
Me too, I might have been young, but I saw this coming too for years

I thought the Juggernaut mode was already in the game, fans really had to make it themselves because 343 did not add it? what other modes are missing here?
I knew grif ball may take time to add since they screwed up the hammer making it slow for some reason.
Yeah, one of the biggest community game modes in the last 13 years still isn’t in this game.
Modes like action sack are also missing or they're just "exclusive" modes in halo 5s case... there's more im sure but it's been so long since I even bothered with halo, for whatever reason on halo 5 super fiesta is always on there though
Well is infection even in the fuckin game yet?
It’s never too late to recapture magic.
i do NOT care about anything for infinite its not anything new i mean the new btb mode is fun BUT thats it!
How do you know?
@@GamerJlee Because I’m literally following all API updates for years now 🫡 - GruntDotAPI
@@zeny_ic
Even so, we aren’t asking 343 to make a entire new game
It’s literally just a discount capture the Flag. It’s not that hard to develop
If you need Deja Vu or LASO help let me know. Im going for the last achievements on MCC. Then just sticking to primarly MCC modding
I have Deja Vu, and I have a team for Reach LASO, but I will keep you in mind!
@@GamerJlee sounds good 👍
It’s sad to see they don’t care anymore I’ve loved this franchise since I was 7 or 8 and I remember staying up all night watching halo lore videos on RUclips and getting ecstatic getting my hands on a pc and first thing I did was buy halo reach, ce, and 2 with my birthday money and playing the hell out of them and for the last 3 or 4 years been loving these games mistakes and all I’m only sorry I never got to see it at its prime but hopefully one day it’ll get its doom 2016 revival and we can come back to it.
We havent cared about Halo since Halo 5. I dont know why people act like this is news.
To me, Halo was killed by 343’s and Microsoft’s continued mismanagement. At this point, fans can probably make a better Halo than 343! I still don’t think 343 knows what Halo is actually about or what made it special to the millions of people who’ve played it over the years.
The truth is halo died when Bungie sold the license to 343i.
It's beyond inexcusable that for YEARS they still fail to understand this concept
The worst excuse ive ever seen defenders of 343 make is "their servers can't handle all the modes" to which I will say: Bullshit
343 can't even have the basics of halo nailed, especially when halo shidfinites over here getting praised on release being called a "original halo game"
Yeah AR spam fests with weak power weapons/vehicles that are unrewarding to pick up/drive let alone use are so original.... cool ass armor your forced to BUY and not EARN is soooo original- if you're playing halo your playing a carcass, 343 doesn't care about you, they are just another EA here for you money and here to make you miserable, there's plenty of more games to enjoy from devs that actually love their games and fanbases, stop getting your hopes up going forward guys, 343 had so many years to just simply build on a once amazing universe yet their pride- their egos effectively killed the franchise, it's not much different from what disney did to star wars, stop being a victim to 343, the people in charge there have 0 fucks to give about how you spend your free time.
-There's always going to be some dorito eating dew chugging basement slug telling you "casuals go play against covenant" when you get tired of 343 caring more for the esports part of things more than the whole community
-There's always going to be something involving YOU paying money just to try and either have an edge in clearly pay to play type modes (warzone) or just to even have better cosmetics
-There's always going to be horrible weapon balancing, wether there's op magnums (halo 5) or op ARs (halo 4 and infinite)
-Vehicles are always gonna be made of Styrofoam and die to a few bullets
-There's always going to be blatant neglect towards the people that ironically make up the majority of any fanbase - casuals
-there's always going to be a rejection of full variety in the game modes you play
-there's always going to be horrible mistreatment of the story, lore, characters and campaign of halo
-There's always gonna be sprint
-And there's always going to be a malicious hatred for original halo
So long as you have 343 your going to have these issues!
Stop giving this AWFUL company chances, halos already dead, but it's certainly not gonna have even a 1% chance to come back if you give this awful company another chance.
1:04 I think its going to be split screen coop
Edit: I was wrong but still it sucks that split screen was just killed off the way it was
I hate 343 for being a shitty studio.
I hate Microsoft for giving Halo to people who dont deserve to work on it at all.
343 destroyed my love for the Halo games. I still watch lore videos, but after Halo 4 I could see the writing on the wall.
It's true bro I'm 38 years old now and I RDGAFF about playing Halo anymore. Only Halo 2 was the most fun I had outta Halo.
The most popular game-mode in Halo is the campaign. Screw the MP, they need to get working on a proper campaign first.
343 has officially lost all trust they had with anyone. Theyve had far too many chances and have fallen shorter and shorter every fucking time
The part that scares me are the videos other creators make showing how “anti-bungie” 343 are, their ego is in the way of our franchise
Anyway happy Bungie Day 🎉😂
When your promo art of Spartan and Elites is just them sitting around and carrying crates. You have no plans for any story or any effort for the game.
That’s what happens when you name your company after the villain from the franchise you bought
Will pay Ruby of Blue some when Halo 2 Rebalanced comes out, 343 on the other hand won't ever see a penny from me no more
1:31 I think it’s Griffball 😊
I still can not go over the fact they hate their own ip and mock their fans on Twitter.
This company is out of this world.
And do not start with all the waiting for empty promises over 10 years now.
