Finally someone with the balls to tell it like it is. No one is asking for a CE remake. And I’m sick of other Halo content creators skirting around the abysmal state of halo and the laughable population of maybe…5k between steam and xbox…I love this franchise too much to sugar coat the harsh truth. Halo is in some deep trouble. Remaking a 25 year old game isn’t going to get us out.
I think it's a great idea if the rumors are true. It'll be a good test for Halo on UE5 (which given MS' reliance on contractors would substantially improve the next game's development), as well as a good on-ramp for Playstation fans. Plus it'll be _something_ to keep people busy since we easily won't see the next 343 game in seven+ years.
I and many others want a real remaster of CE in a similar style to Halo 2 anniversary which opens the door to a Halo 3 remaster as well that everyone likes to cry about online. Other than that, I don’t trust 343 to handle anything else with the franchise. Best we can hope for is a different studio handling a spinoff. Mark my words, if 343 is allowed to develop Halo 7, it will be just as bad as the rest of their games
@@proggz39 343 already isn't the company they used to be. They fired their big studio heads, and contractors swap out every six months. They are just a name; handing it off to a different studio will be functionally the same - with the exception of some good publicity.
I want two remakes for games that could actually benefit from it. Halo 4 and 5. Would love those games to have a directors cut with restored story elements and full hd graphics that aren’t limited by 10-20 year old hardware. Halo CE already has a remaster. That’d be redundant. If CEA bothers you, turn the gamma down, tint your screen blue or green, and lower the contrast. Done. Took 20 seconds.
Why do you want a H3 remaster? H3 still looks good and you know deep down a remaster will more than likely stuff it up, like CE Anniversary did. H2 Anniversary is a rare gem - don't assume H3 will get that treatment, it likely won't, and then we'll lose the OG Halo 3 forever. Just leave Halo alone. People have been trying to reinvent it and stuff for a decade and it has been a sh*t show.
There were people out there who were calling out this shit since Halo 4 and 5, and they were laughed at. People thought they were crazy, but now that we’re here, it’s obvious they simply saw where the franchise was heading ahead of time.
Yes! ME !!!!!!!!! SINCE 2013! I was a teenager then.. you wouldn't believe the amount of backlash I'd get from the community full of idiots then. "You just need to get with the times" "you just can't accept change" "your just a bungie fanboy afraid of the word sprint" blah blah blah They all owe ME an apology!! Because I seen this shit coming from many miles away over a decade ago..
I WANT new. 343 and Microsoft don't do nearly enough experimentation with Halo, it's just one tried-and-true safe game after another. I want to see spinoffs, I want to see what a _remake_ would do. Halo clearly hasn't been Microsoft's favorite child in years, but they're still so needlessly protective of the IP and I don't understand why. Let other developers try stuff.
@@Mega-Brick 343i should be completely changed and merged with halo wars devs, no DEI and no remake, we just need something like halo 2 or halo 3 ODST, Reach or halo 3, something realistic, that makes us feel like its a last stand war and we are just a soldier on it, no more skipping everything out on a book or a cinematic, no more making previous games story end up useless with forgetable characters, something new, but still based.
@@Spartanlyra It's funny you include 2 and ODST with 3 and Reach; to me, they're two polar opposites of the series. 2 and ODST are the games that are well-written. They're the ones that feature character-arcs, central themes, and metaphor in their design. Reach and 3 are shallow, bland. Their stories are a series of events, actions and reactions, with no real idea behind it beyond being cool to experience. Fun, but not meaningful. People like to say that ODST and Reach are gritty, but that's not entirely accurate. ODST is dark, Reach is gritty. ODST's mythical overtones (as it's heavily based on Dante's Inferno) are as different from Reach's grittier, grounded military aesthetic (essentially the Call of Duty of Halo) as possible. Both were valid ideas, but a game like Reach is only something I want to see done once; Reach's focus isn't what I like about Halo, or what makes it unique as a sci-fi FPS franchise. Meanwhile ODST leaned into aspects of Halo that I love, and told a story that only Halo can tell.
@@brandonmcgregor9912 A lazy remaster at a time when remasters like that weren't a thing, in all fairness. Most just got some resolution upgrades, maybe some lighting tweaks. Not "new" assets. It was a risk, and I daresay it paid off because they started the trend of total remasters.
Halo used to have hundreds of thousands of concurrent players on Xbox 360. Now, go to top played free games on Xbox and Infinite is below the Xbox 360 version of the walking dead... It's played less than an Xbox 360 single player game...
And it's an f2p game on top of that. 343i has had it's moments. But in general, Halo has literally never found success outside the classics. Be it in their original release, remasters, and now possibly in their remakes. Microsoft's just milking the past at this point.
Halo used to compete with the top of the game, that being CoD. But now, CoD's not even the top of the game and halo can't even hit a fraction of their playerbase. Is a niche title with an unhealthily loyal audience. Whom despite of the state of the game, are still convinced that halo "needed to change" in order to "survive". I think nu-halo fans need to get themselves checked.
The whole "but guys the population is healthy on Xbox. We cant see the stats and Microsoft wont advertise the numbers, but guys, its obviously a super healthy number on Xbox over PC, because it used to be an Xbox exclusive!" is such massive cope. Not like this same thing happened to Halo 4 back when that was Xbox exclusive, and iirc Halo 5 too. The fact is Steam numbers are a decent barometer. PC players (and honestly most gamers) don't think "well this game has cross platform play, but WE will only play on this specific platform." And as you said, Microsoft wouldn't be ditching Halo Infinite's "10 year plan" if it was doing well.
@SuperBetaBuxbros. Modern Bungie is a complete dumpster fire that gives 343 a run for their money when it comes to being one of the most incompetent out of touch studios around. To quote that condescending out of touch guy at Blizzard “you think you do but you don’t”.
Halo CE the original, Halo CE (Custom Edition) and its moddable versions, Halo CE Anniversary, Cursed Halo version 2, SPV3.3... Halo CE MCC PC version and the mods possible there... And the community is rebuilding Halo CE on the Halo 3 engine... Thats like a 100 versions already haha.
Although Infinites Campaign might have been lack-luster to some, i think the story was over-all well recieved despite how unfinished the game was. Why the fuck would they abandon that story to reboot the whole fucking franchise? How are 343 and Microsoft so out of fucking touch to see that Infinite COULD have been the best Halo ever released IF they had just finished the fucking game? H3's 20 year anniversary is literally 3 years away. Just remaster that and then finish the story that Infinite was telling. And release MCC on Playstation if they want, i really dont fucking care about that. But dont reboot the whole fucking franchise. 🤦♂️
Declining? No, has declined. Nobody is hopeful. Nobody is waiting or excited for a new halo. And, if they are, its because they aren't able to move on and have an unhealthy obsession with a childhood they will never relive. 343i didn't even bother with any of the niche appeal, either. The military crowd was completely snubbed. The power armor fetishists got power ranger suits. The competitive crowd is gone. Who is halo even for anymore?
Even if remakes of CE - 3 are done well, at some point it's going to get old playing the same story. Imagine if Halo just became a series of constant remakes and remasters over and over again. We need something new that is actually worthwhile
If we got a remake of 2 that gave us Bungie’s original vision with the INSANE original ending I’d be happy (H2’a third act/ending would’ve been infinitely better than the barely coherent mess that is H3’s “story”. Watch C3Sabertooth’s videos animating the H2 storyboards and you’ll agree). Sadly, we won’t get that, and even if we did it would almost certainly be a dumpster fire since 343 is beyond incompetent.
This is what happens when a huge megapublisher cashes in on all of its goodwill. Microsoft is a company that never really understood halo or any of the other franchises under its banner, and when bungie and epic left their respective franchises microsoft didn’t know what to do with them. I don’t see that getting much better in recent times either. Gears 4 snd 5’s campaigns were alright, but halo, the flagship franchise, was being bungled from the word go. CEA’s art style looked prettier in. Lot of places but its remastered models didn’t sync well with the original ones, and the CEA armor for chief is an eyesore that missed the point of half of the original model’s design decisions. Could that use an update? Sure. But that’s not gonna bring in the crowds of yesteryear. Halos 4 and 5 had good moments, but the amount of poorly conceived ideas equaled or outnumbered them, and MS’s dedication to chasing industry trends with the way they handled multiplayer and customization corrupted the soul of the games. They had good ideas, but were too shortsighted to understand what they had. Spartan Ops was a great example; a story that updates weekly or every few months with a new story? They basically did the destiny seasonal model years before destiny did it. The problem was they just didn’t put in the budget or effort to make it worth a damn. Halo levels function in the way half life levels do, a mix of complex AI battles and scripted events that make it memorable. The latter half of that just wasn’t there though. Quantity over quality level design. Kinda like destiny. Microsoft’s current management doesn’t inspire confidence though. A helldivers-like ODST game or mode would be inspiring if properly managed, but this is the folks who greenlit two seasons of the halo show we’re talking about. This is the leadership that killed Tango even though Tango gave them exactly what they wanted. It’s the collection of ghouls that killed the studio behind dishonored and prey, two of the past generation’s most interesting and innovative titles, because the previous owner forced them to make a live service and surprise surprise, it bombed hard. I don’t trust them with remaking halo 1. I don’t trust them with any of the properties under their belt. All microsoft knows how to do is buy. Besides. They bought activision/blizzard/king. They have the money printers of CoD, WoW, and king’s mobile offerings. Microsoft no longer needs Halo.
I'm half tempted to copy + paste your comment in other videos comment sections. People need to hear the truth even though it's a bitter pill to swallow. Microsoft is at the root of Halo's 12 year streak of setbacks and the pattern will continue so long as they own the IP. 343i or any other devs for that matter won't make a difference so long as MS owns Halo. They're trying to draw in PlayStation gamers because they know they've lost the trust & goodwill of Xbox/PC players. It's so obvious I can't understand how people don't see through what they're trying to do.
Okay. Computer crash. Let's do a quick rewrite. Spartan Ops was doomed from the start. Weapon, vehicle, and aircraft sandbox was tiny in Halo 4. Broadsword was a poor replacement for the Anchor 9 Sabre Team space battle. Halo CE was accused of repetitive level design and reusing missions. Pay attention, and the rooms in Halo CE are NOT copy/pasted, and each location was only revisited once, with different enemies, and with a reversed route through the level. Spartan Ops had us visit each location a minimum of six times, and traverse the entire map, with hidden areas only revealed (if any) on the last visit. Also, Frank O'Connor/Microsoft/343i had a weird Spartan-IV fetish. We all knew that the Elites, Grunts, Hunters, and Engineers should have been allied with the humans on the Infinity (and Covenant ships), that the Covenant had an empire exceeding 8000 worlds, and that the enemies we encountered at the start of Halo 4 should have been Brutes, Prophets, Jackals, and Bugs--or possibly the Flood, because the Halo rings don't work on the Flood. As for the Bestarium, which 343i took as gospel--that was bonus content written for the end to a franchise. It should have been ignored. Gears of War had the same problem as Halo--if you kill a character off, it takes 20 years to replace them, minimum. If you kill off too much of the populace, a century is needed as a time-skip, minimum. The Gears of War community basically had the same reaction to Gears 4 and Gears 5 as Halo 4 and Halo 5, which is why its taken so long for the next installment--which is another prequel. No, Microsoft doesn't need Halo--but it did shell out far too much money to acquire those IPs, so it needs SOMETHING to go right--and the only thing that's gone right so far is the Fallout TV show. As for Halo CE Anniversary--Saber Interactive and whomever else worked on it spent far too much of the budget on 3D TV and Kinect integration, meaning the graphics were only passable quality even at the time of release. The seven Halo Reach maps were nice, but we didn't even get the Gearbox port of the PC and original CE multiplayer maps. Those would have been good to have some Spartan Ops missions on. It was nice being able to navigate The Library and Keyes without getting lost for the first time, but the atmosphere of 343 Guilty Spark, The Silent Cartographer, and The Library were completely ruined. In a game where the player can see clear across Blood Gulch, fog placement is NOT due to engine limitations. Spartan Ops, again, was incredibly boring. In Halo Reach, we had Noble Team at our back. Why were there not any Spartan/Elite/Grunt/Hunter/Engineer allies in Spartan Ops? Why could we never meet Fireteam Majestic? Or the Red vs. Blue team? It was all done via radio and camera--and the science teams should never have vanished or been killed if they were connected via radio and camera. As for AI--I still can't get over the fact that Forerunner AI and structures are maintained for, and last over 100,000 years, and Julianna, as a human AI was still going strong after NINE years in The Cole Protocol. That seven-year lifespan for AI is completely bogus, and 343i only remembered that when they wanted Cortana back as a villain. If the Bungie series had planned ahead, there would have been multiple disposable Cortana models from the start, swapping out the Halo CE Cortana for the Halo 2 Cortana along with Mjolnir, and nipping the whole 'rescue the damsel in distress' plotline in Halo 3 and Halo 4 in the bud. Hah ha ha. No. 343i are DEFINITELY not capable of making something on par with Helldivers 2. They should have been pumping out an FPS campaign every year, in the Halo 3/Halo Reach engine, for the last 14 years--or a new campaign in the Halo 5 engine for the last nine years. Then they might be ready. Oh, and I almost forgot--Gears of War and Halo were built as a trilogy. In a trilogy you kill off characters at the end, because you're done with the series. Unless Miranda and Jacob Keyes had a much larger family, like the Carmine brothers, they should not have been killed off--Sergeant Johnson was brought back to life in Halo 2, and Sergeant Forge was planned to be alive in Halo Wars 2, according to the original Ensemble plan. The series lives or dies on the strength of its villains AND its heroes, and Halo does not have good heroes in this day and age.
@@3mpt7 Yeah I keep saying that to ppl- Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo Wars all came out in within just 3 years And MS wonders why Halo was successful then but not now? I mean after halo 5 we waited 6 years for the next FPS. Halo Wars 2 did infact help fill the gap which is the only reason I have any liking for 343 and them bringing reach to MCC on PC. Lmao Nice of them to bring reach to MCC on its 10th Anniversary. but cheap when you think about it. Then theres H3 which they just forgot about remastering I guess oh wait no Halo Infinite was far more important I forgot lmao MS str8 up passed up making H3A just so they could make a cheap piece of shit in a faster manner so they could sell all the games "content" in a fucking store And also passed up reintroducing a system that H5 had which as bad is it kinda is was atleast successful in making some damn money And all this further stems back to MCC's launch being an absolute shit show with servers being terrible and the game taking years to have any content; CGB, better MP, expanded content in general If that shit was on MCC since 2014 it woulda been a hit. Imagine all the content it would have today if what exists now was there on launch day and they had time to go balls deep into adding modded content and making some small DLC's like the NOBLE and DEFIANT map packs back in 2011. Small DLC's with 3-5 maps, and some new armour to sell and earn. Thats not a bad deal at all Instead of drip-feeding us dusty ass "new" games or updates that get just enough attention to cause controversy to keep their "fans" busy buying new games and talking about Halo "hoping" that 343 actually fixes/adds SOMETHING of value that isnt just a copy-paste of some trendy ass game like a BR game or whatever else they think is a "good game" format/idea
@@Green-IV Before Ensemble Studios was shut down, they planned to make a Covenant and Flood campaigns for Halo Wars...and Sergeant Forge would have survived into Halo Wars 2, being teleported out of the explosion. Creative Assembly essentially ported over assets from the Warhammer 40K series in order to make Halo Wars 2--their other games include the Total War: Warhammer series--and were going to make a Promethean DLC mission set. Awakening the Nightmare and Operation Spearbreaker were nice, and it was nice to give the Spartans a little more personality, but the main campaign led nowhere. It's funny, because the Banished are basically orcs. It would have been nice to get a mobile campaign and DLC campaign/ODST style expansion every three years, a mainline game every three years, and an RTS game every three years, but it wasn't to be. There should have been 14 games released since 2010, minimum. Even including the two mobile games, and that arcade game, we've had seven. Honestly, 343 Industries should just have released Halo 2 Anniversary back in 2014. Or Halo 3 on PC. Having the MCC all in one collection on PC is what allowed them to kill the servers for Xbox 360.
Stop giving 343 your money. It kills me because i fucking love halo but i refuse to play anything after halo 4. I know halo 4 is 343 i actually liked the cortana and chief arc. That was emotional. Stop playing infinite and stop giving them your money its the only way this stops.
They’ve fumbled again and again and again and I’ve honestly got no hope left for 343i. This is more of a “appeal to the broader community” and exploiting the IP. Not to mention in the bungie days we couldn’t get a producer to make a movie or series because Microsoft insisted on strict adherence to the lore (as they should). But in the era of DEI we got the never ending train wreck running into a dumpster fire that is the silver timeline. Now we even have the “I struggle with guns” in the FPS military shooter devs and I’m just so done with this company having anything to do with my favorite IP. Read the room 343. You’ve botched everything you’ve touched to include the atrocity that is Infinites campaign, and multiplayer customization.
The negativity in the halo community is warranted. The only game that 343 has made that was unanimously loved is halo wars 2. Ever other halo game they touch comes out as a broken unfinished mess and is never fixed. Unless it’s halo wars 3 I will never again buy a 343 game.
My Xbox One Series X has been packed away due to a move, and the Xbox 360 servers were shut down during another move, along with the Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and Playstation 3. I'm hopping mad about that--servers don't even cost a fraction of a percentage of the company profits. Halo and Mass Effect could have been another Star Wars franchise, to replace the gaping hole after Disney took over, but the developers at Microsoft and EA bungled it. If the company had pumped out story driven games in the Halo 3 or Halo Reach engine each year for the last 14 years, I can guarantee the multiplayer would still be going strong. As it is, people want to be part of the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout, because that TV show was done well, unlike Halo and the Spartans. Nobody I know of wants to be a Spartan in this day and age. Likewise, nobody I know wants to be a Jedi. Or an N7. They're all lame, now, thanks to the extremely poor storytelling, and lack of proper installments.
I think we do need it. 343 has consistently shown they have no idea what halo is. This is chance for them to learn the gameplay, artstyle, and story. To go through notes, files, and plans for the bungie era games might get them back on track instead of trying to copy the newest trends in gaming. Halo 4 had a generic ugly scifi artstyle and tried to be CoD. h Halo 5 tried to copy mobility shooter trends but I will say they did improve the artstyle a bit compared to 4 (still generic), the campaign was the worst in the series and also introduced loot boxes. The Halo CE remaster failed to adhere to the artstyle of the game it was remastering and in mnay cases just used already existing assets from other games instead of designing their own. Also it didn't even get it's own multiplayer just a handful of Halo Reach maps and classic multiplayer wasn't introduced to it until MCC which was probably more scuffed than Infinite at launch with annoying lobby bugs that plague it to this day. Halo 2 Anniversary was the best 343 era Halo release and it wasn't even made by 343 it was remastered by Saber Interactive and the cutscenes were made by Blur Cinematics. Halo infinite had fun gameplay and plenty of weapons to toy around with but that's all I can say for it. The skill based matchmaking was souless, the graphics looked really plasticy and overly saturated, the forge mode was overly complicated for the majority of players, the CBG is janky and low effort like the UI, the game was free to play but only so they had an excuse to shovel in 20$ microtransactions, premium battlepasses, and sell the campaign separately for the full price. The campaign was only open world to pad out the game with collectibles and generic side missions. The banished were generic villains with no depth just Orcs in space who are evil just because they can be evil. Also the Endless being worse than the flood just seems like a cheap way of trying to replace it and doesn't make sense because the flood is litterally the corrupted remnants of godlike transdimensional beings that almost devoured the entire galaxy and could be doing the same in another galaxy in current day lore. Also they once again killed another main villain before the game even started which was better than 4 where they killed off the didact in a comic. I will say it is the best they've done so far and there was a lot of potential for to be far better but higher-ups at 343 and Microsoft wasted it. Maybe my standards and the expectation of a studio taking over an existing franchise and continuing it as it was instead of trying to make their own thing with halo name and paint is unrealistic but I can play the classic games for hours and beat the campaigns over and over again but I can only play 343 games a few hours until I get tired of it then come back months later and, in the case of Infinite, find minor additions and improvements if any. EDIT: Nah fuck 343. Just saw how they treated the Ex Bungie devs. Scumbag type shit. Get Saber on this one they did great with H2A's campaign.
I'm just done with the excuses as a long-time timer Halo fan. The excuses are played out, but stans still keep it up. "This time, it will be different," "How so? Like the 3 other times they said it would be different?" "Well, um, this time, it'll be on Unreal, which is far easier to work on than the Blam engine," "You mean the same engine Bungie worked on OG halo as well as revamped it to the Tiger engine for Destiny for modern day that works perfectly fine for modern game development but yet 343 can't get the same overhauled engine that they made for slipspace to work supposedly?" "Well, whatever change 343 did differently must have made it hard to add new content." "And yet they still did add content and claimed they have a massive population that LOVE Halo Infinite, supposedly, and yet 343 is abandoning the game... because, let's be honest, there is no massive population, and there are no difficulties using the engine because they have no problem adding more overpriced cosmetics item. The fact is the population is dead, and anyone playing is no longer buying the content that 343 won't drop the price on" I mean, what happens if we get a ce remake or a Halo 7 on UE5... and it flops as a buggy, unfinished, greedy product again? What will the excuses be this time stans? As more and more fans have dipped away... the few stans there are left but become ever more aggressive to defend 343 that they can do no wrong. A lot of us gave infinite their last chance. Most who even are thinking they might get the next Halo game aren't planning to preorder/day 1 it. They are done getting jebaited. They'll watch to see if it launches complete. Otherwise, Microsoft needs to just accept Halo is dead because 343 keeps abandoning their games when it's launched half baked and can't deliver. Shut down 343 and shelve the franchise for another decade until a studio far more competent can take over. Sad to think, Halo 4 made unnecessary changes that massive killed off a fanbase, so badly, 343 removed the pop count and never returned it after that incident. Then 343 fumbled MCC, like literally prebuilt games they just had to integrate and put on a new Xbox One console... couldn't do that complete. Then release Halo 5 Vegas gambling 🎰 and launched barebones, and then Halo Infinite, both barebones and unfinished. The best 343 ever did was bring MCC to PC and added the other titles in... but literally stopped short of self-sustaining when it came to full mod support, and now matchmaking it is almost dead as well. You can replace Bonnie all you like, but if this doesn't resolve the issue, it's time to start internally looking at where the problem lies. Is 343 too incompetent? Or is Microsoft demanding too much in too little time on deadlines for meeting all the subcommunity needs? Or both?
Personally I dont mind it but 343 doesn't need to be in charge of Halo at this point. I dont know if the studio is cursed but they've had well over a decade with Halo. I do not trust them to get any product right, especially at launch.
Halo 3 Anniversary is MORE important Microsoft than Halo CE Remastered badly again. Kashierra already did that job for you, just hire her and EVERYONE like her who truly cares about Halo to work with 343 Industries on Halo 3 Anniversary and Halo 7.
For me personally with Halo, I've given up with Microsoft, 343, and some of the Xbox Community (Since they want Halo as an exclusive). As for a CE remaster? eh, what are we at 4 CE releases now Xbox OG, HALO PC, 360 Remastered, now this? Also why would I bother with another company remaster when modders tend to do a far better job especially since modders tend to put more love & care in their mods. What'd help somewhat is if MCC came to PS5 and both consoles had mod support system like Fallout along with a modded custom games browser.
Reminder that just a few years ago Halo Infinite was being pitched as this BIG new thing that would REVITALIZE and RENEW the Halo franchise, it would be a return to former glory, this magnificent flagship for the next decade of Halo... "Wanna know the definition of insanity?" It's over. Just play something else, folks.
Yep, I got so bored of Halo Infinite that I can’t even bring myself to play it at least for right now. Been on Helldivers 2 lately as it’s far more fun
I would prefer Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST Anniversary with additional mod tools for the anniversary graphics. They should also add mod tools to CEA and 2A so fans can fix them. Mod tools should be added to every Halo game retroactively and moving forward.
i agree. why remake halo ce with new guns when you can mod guns into mcc? and why make a 4th version of combat evolved when they haven't even remastered halo 3? personally i think we're just hungry for a good halo campaign
what we need is a new studio to retcon everything between 4 and infinite and the first game i want the new studio to make is ODST 2 that takes place after the events of halo 3. MC is the Rookie again where Buck's team work with the elites to hunt down any remaining covenant that are on earth, its basically a clean up game. At the end we get a cutscene where buck and his crew are celebrating at a bar then they are approached by Jun to join the spartan 4 program.
Mop up would kinda plateau as a story. It'd be cool if that was the start and then the ODSTs go out to explore postwar space to find and recover Chief from the Dawn wreckage, possibly finding other grim stuff on the way and Chief gets resuscitated and joins the fight as the team is about to be overrun in the final battle.
Here's a thought. Let's say IF 343 became competent and put their ego to the side, they could recreate Halo ce, 2, and 3 with the same story and art style, but with the cut missions, weapons, and characters that were scrapped by Bungie because of time and hardware restraints. Basically Resident Evil recreates. That is something I'd support.
I would LOVE some remakes of Halo with the cut bungie content and overhauled like the Resident Evil remakes!!! It would be easy to make them and most fans happy.
That won't happen. They will try to make the games their own in some form or fashion. We all have to stop buying Halo when it's under 343 and Microsoft's control. Obviously that's a pipe dream and we'll most likely just see another decade of the same awful nonsense.
My ideal Halo would be a remake of 2 that gives us Bungie’s original vision with the cut third act and INSANE original ending (what we would’ve gotten in H2’s original ending would’ve been infinitely better than that barely coherent mess that is H3’s “story”. Watch C3Sabertooth’s videos animating H2’s storyboards and you’ll agree). Sadly, that WON’T happen, and even if it did 343 would find a way to botch it.
My issue why I’m not playing halo isn’t because of 343 industries, it’s because of Xbox, ever since the firings of the studios, it completely killed my enjoyment of halo, and I’m afraid of the future of Xbox!😰
Alsmot everyone in 343 recently was replaced. The team hasn't even made a updtae of their own yet give them a chance. 97% of the staff at 343i has been replaced. I hope they get a chance to do something. Also RUclips advise you say a lot of uhms and like of the such with uhhs. Try to cut it out, this video seems like a genuine rant even though your giving facts it doesn't feel like it. Anyways hope to see you again one dag in my recs
Also don't use steams own site for their records use STEAM db their API is WAY better. Avg players is 2k what you saw was the lowest point in the day. Although I'm not backing halo up it's bad 24 hour peak is normally 4000.
@@teriyakisauced 2000-4000 players on what is one of the most well known IPs is absolutely insane. They have killed the franchise, not sure how you can argue otherwise, even if you are enjoying Infinite.
It would be great. But 343 has already killed Halo a long time ago. They've shown how incompetent they are time and time again. They will ruin this, too. Probably try to add some kind of mircotranzation with in the remake some how. It's honestly not worth it guys. They are going to shit on this Iconic game too
It's hilarious. People complain about Halo becoming mainstream and accessible, and then when the game starts shifting back toward a niche audience, people complain _they_ aren't a part of that niche audience. Stop being selfish, stop gatekeeping. 343's games have done great things, people enjoy them, let them enjoy them. You don't have to be a part of it if you don't want to be.
@@Mega-Brick How delusional one must be in order to seriously believe Halo was "niche". Today, Halo could be said to be a "niche" because the games are awful and nobody plays them. Halo was outgrossing major films back in the day, if that isn't "mainstream", I don't know what is.
Honestly I think Xbox could have 10-15 times more Halo players than on Steam, but still that would only be ~10,000 players on Xbox. Definitely the lowest the series has seen in a long time. I love Halo and Infinite is pretty good, but yeah it really needed more support early on and better incentives to play. Like if you could earn special armors by doing unique-hard achievements (like the Vidmasters in H3) then people would have been a lot more invested.
The way I look at this is the fact that the Halo IP has been dead and a mute point for a long time. And this has to do with Microsoft and 343i's leadership and management using the IP as a cash cow by not promoting the behavior of making the halo games actually good. They clearly don't understand or care about the franchise anymore since they buy companies and put most of them defunct like rare ended up with when they got bought out. This all boils down to corporate greed at the end of the day.
A fully new Halo game like 7 would be great, but a remake can still be amazing :) I would really enjoy a CE or H3 remake as long as they bring some bold new ideas to it. Some new enemies and big new levels. Maybe you can turn on skulls to make the gameplay more classic, but I want new weapons and vehicles and abilities. A Scarab fight in CE? Yes please! -- The story should be like the original, but maybe add a new twist or a cool side character.
@@pyrogonFL it is way more likely than you think. Microsoft knows Halo has a strong legacy and there's a chance it can be a cashcow. If they are gonna continue the series in Unreal Engine it would be a safe/easier move to remake a beloved game, but if they really want sales they need the game to be exciting and adding a major feature to an older game could get a lot of excitement.
These are things Microsoft *should* have known for the last 12+ years. Honest question: what makes you think they're going to suddenly change gears now after over a decade of bafflingly poor decisions? They already knew the game was a cashcow during the Bungie days yet they thought they needed 343i to chase industry trends.
@@ryanhammond5989 I'm not saying they will change directions. But a remake is a relatively safe bet for easy money. If they make a high quality Halo 3 Anniversary or "Halo CE total refresh/reboot" that would be really exciting!
@@PandaJerk007 "I'm not saying they will change directions. But a remake is a relatively safe bet for easy money. If they make a high quality Halo 3 Anniversary or "Halo CE total refresh/reboot" that would be really exciting!" I'm not sure I understand the thought process at work here. So, you don't think they'll change course, i.e. they will make the same terrible slop they've made for the last 14 years. A remake is a relatively safe bet for easy money... yes, it is? Why do we care about how easy it would be for the corporation to extort its playerbase? Given CE's immaculate legacy, this remake would be so easy to cash in on that they would barely have to lift a finger, almost certainly resulting in an even worse product than the filth they've produced in the past. If you've played Bungie's games, if you've experienced the unbridled artistry that was Halo, then given 343's dogwater reputation, how on Earth does the grim prospect of this company touching CE with their foul paws sound "really exciting!"? To me, it sounds about as exciting as watching a gang of imbeciles throw oil over historic works of art to satisfy their own pathetic egos and rotten sense of self-righteousness, except I happen to love this piece of art dearly, so it's worse.
If we get a reboot of the franchise that will last for two decades, that will be the last straw for me. We have given them chance after chance after chance after chance. If CE gets rebooted to fit their ideology, I am putting my foot down. Enough is enough!
I knew Halo was officially cooked when instead of anger and resentment being felt towards infinite, I just felt indifferent and forgot about it. I love Halo though, and still play MCC everyday. 343 blew their chances forever ago.
They just wanted to copy The COD Formula. Pay big streamers and content creators to hype up the game wait for the credit cards to come....they gutted of the best IPs
I play Halo infinite on PC. A lot of PC players quit Halo Infinite because they were at a major competitive disadvantage to console players due to aim assist, and because Halo wasn't going to lower console aim assist, but instead boost PC aim assist, it just didn't make sense for PC players. Now PC players would be messing up their muscle memory across FPS games, because they'd be getting a butt load of aim assist on Halo and none on other games, and it hurt their aim. Obviously if they had done the opposite, it would have caused that same issue for console players, but for Halo instead of the other games, and they don't want to alienate their core platform with their game directly. I was watching Shroud play Infinite the other day, and he said, "I can see why some PC players like this. It must be nice having the aim assist do half the work for you, but it doesn't feel rewarding." I've gone back and forth between aim magnetism and none, and you just can't compete against good console players unless you have it on, because they have much stronger aim assist than you. I feel disgusted having to use it, but its not much of a choice. The main reason I play Halo Infinite is because its fun, a lot of fun, but I can see why its struggling on PC.
Halo has been dead since Reach. I think it’s been time to move on for years now. Put this passion towards something new. This means a lot to you, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But at a certain point, you have to put your foot down and say enough is enough. If you want someone who’s going to treat you with some respect, Microsoft is the last company you should consider. If you didn’t get the memo in 2010, there’s nothing wrong with leaving now. Games are supposed to be fun. If you’re not having fun, or it’s so close but never quite, you have no obligation to any game. You have to save yourselves. Keep the memories. You earned them. No matter what happens next, don’t be hard on yourself. You tried. That’s all that matters.
There was a point where infinites playerbase had a less playercount than mediocre fps games on roblox think about that let it sit in, in terms of how incompetent this games development team is im unironically more excited for this one fps shooter on roblox called brm5 than halo at this point.
I dont understand how you can be a halo fan and not be excited about a ce remke. CE is the best campaign in the series that could also benefit massively by some changes. (343 will probs fuck it up so im not getting too excited)
Might as well just play Ruby's Rebalanced CE at that point. Vehicle sections with a Wraith in the Library, wave survival defending the last marine holdouts atop the control room on Two Betrayals to earn a tank airdrop later in the level... It's got everything, seamlessly too.
People need to stop with the damn Halo 3 Remaster crap. The game doesn't even look dated at all outside of the character models, which are only noticeable in cutscenes. And it doesn't need Blur's cutscenes locked at 60 FPS (with stutter) either, which would just ruin the game's superb cinematography, lighting and seamless transitions that are already there. Halo 3 is a sum of it's parts and defiling just one aspect of it would suck a lot of charm out.
Lol too consider this? Halo infinite has no story. Just master chief landing on a strange ring world walking around making friends with some weird AI and some dood. No violent battles. No high stakes happening. Game just ends. Cliff hanger... The end... Thats the story of halo infinite.
If it has to be paid for, then no. 343i owes Halo fans a game with a story. If they couldn't do it with Infinite at launch, they'd better just give it to us later if anything. But yet again, I'm reminded that 343i absolutely hates their own engine, and wants to move to Unity instead. So I think if anything Microsoft will petition a completely new game instead.
a halo spin off game Yes but halo 7 NO. the plot to halo infinite didn't make any scene and they was just milking chiefs story not knowing what to write. know one cares what the endless are and the story should have ended on halo 3. and us xbox players can't play mods so the remake is a good thing.
I recently tried Infinite for the first time, played it a few times, didn't like it, went back to MCC. I rather get a mcc port to PlayStation just so mcc can live again. Much better than a remake no one asked for. Only releasing a remake on PlayStation is their way of erasing Bungie’s legacy. For a whole generation of gamers, they’ll only know 343’s remake as being halo
Halo 1-3 doesn't need a reboot... Halo 4-6 DOES! but not by 343.. So ... my reboot goes like, Halo 4 instead picks up where Halo 3 left off, on earth! Where after Halo 3, humanity is trying to rebuild after almost going extinct... it's 4 years later after Halo 3. We learn that on the Elite homeworld the Arbiter is met with am ultimatum from a random threat, thats right its the Banished, and in this reboot we are starting out strong with them none of this galaxy pirate anyone can join us shit, no, by the end if halo 3 we see they have already grown rapidly around the galaxy after the fall of the covenant and being led by Brutes are going full EMPIRE style trying to repurpose forerunner worlds/halo rings and old covenant tech to become the new galactic wide empire in charge telling potentially hostile planets to "join us or die" which ultimately puts them at odds with the Arbiter and his grunts/hunters which also puts them at odds with Earth.. while this conflict brews the elites learn that the Banished also have a war that just started with non other than the alien race of Prophets themselves. The Banished hate the Covenant and the Prophets even with the covenant gone STILL want to own the galaxy and all forerunner tech which easily puts them at odds with the Banished, and obviously with how humanity and the elites feel about the Prophets ambitions, puts the Prophets against eveyone else in the galaxy leading them to form their own military fleets of nothing else but purely warrior class Prophets and secretly build these forces on forerunner installations which easily sets the stage for Banished-Prophet war encounters. Thel sends shipmaster and his tiny fleet of SpecOps forces to hunt these Prophets throughout the galaxy before they become too large of a threat but learns the Prophet warrior fleets are already growing their forces rapidly around the galaxy on forerunner worlds, learns the hard way as shipmaster(now a small fleet master loses a few ships to them)-(spin off games). This all makes us play mostly as Arbiter in Halo 4 with Battles that take us on earth, his homeworld and onto other Halo rings, etc, but the stakes are getting too high too fast, which then leads to Halo 5 where the Arbiter knows Chief is still out there SO in the end of Halo 4 we see Arbiter saying I know where we can find help, where we see a hint of him thinking of Chief, and in the start of Halo 5 we see Arbiter take a portion of his ships of elites hunters and grunts and all his classic covenant tech, followed by some UNSC allies with a pillar of autumn style ship that has Blue Team on it, all venture to find and rescue Chief to stand a chance against the Banished, but in their search and battles..it leads them back to the Ark where they finally find Chief again, and you as the player get to play as Halo 3 style Chief again halfway through Halo 5 in the process, during the game now playing as Chief who is now reunited with Blue Team and the Arbiter, Cortana aboard this new UNSC pillar of autumn style ship, all with now the main goal of the story to escape the clutches of the Banished around the Ark which appears to be too strong even for all these combined forces and near the end of Halo 5, you stumble upon a random UNSC ship floating into view around the Ark, the Spirit of Fire!! And Halo 5 ends with the UNSC ship with blue team on it trying to communicate with the Spirit of Fire but no one answering.. Halo wars 2 now begins, the game happens as usual for the most part (but remember no elites in my version the Banished instead replaced by jackal pirates and Skirmishers) and in this Halo Wars 2 the Arbiter and the small UNSC forces and now a rescued Chief with Blue Team, are finally united with Red Team on the Spirit of Fire, (we get awesome cutscenes with them all kicking ass together), the Spirit of Fire is brought up to speed on the rest of the galaxy events in this game, and at the end of Halo Wars 2 we see the tables turn from the end of Halo 5, where the Banished was making Arbiter and the UNSC forces try to flee, now we see the Banished try to flee while still having a larger fleet. We see Arbiter with his forces, Chief and Blue team with most of the UNSC leave the Ark in pursuit of a heavily armed Banished fleet but the Spirit of Fire stays behind to finish off the remaining Banished on the Ark to secure it and help give them all a chance to escape, which leads to Halo 6 .. Halo 6 starts with the large Banished fleet fleeing the Ark stop on Zeta Halo finding already large forces of Prophet Warriors trying to dominate this ring, Arbiter and the UNSC with blue team engage and a new huge 3 way battle on the Ring (similar to Halo 2) takes place throughout the entire game where halfway through the game the oh shit moment happens, where the Prophet race whether on purpse or accidently release the flood, a Halo CE feral form of the Flood attacks everywhere and sentinels go berserk on all living things on all sides .. where at the end of Halo 6, instead of the end being about some stupid "endless" now it's about how Chief and Arbiter learn that the Flood is not only within the rings and growing rapidly on Zeta Halo, but also communicating with the Flood that is still very much alive in its most intelligent keymind form for many many centuries OUTSIDE the galaxy and is slowly building/ swarming a massive fleet to invade their galaxy with...communicating with them telling them to come to this beacon.. Zeta Halo.. Halo 6 ends... Edit: (Some keynotes- again no elites in the Banished, instead various Banished Jackals and Skirmishers have elite style energy shields and even use stolen elite swords. Arbiter and his elites look like CE/Wars2/nfinite elites and move around how the elites did in Halo CE with all the ranks from Halo 2 elites. No Spartan 4s in this reboot, instead some more Spartan 3s are made and all Spartan 3s are seen defending Earth, whatever surviving Spartan 2s accompany Arbiter later in his mission to Rescue Chief. Gameplay Movement is like that of Halo 3, with playing as Arbiter having a bit more speed to your walk like a CE elite has, where playing in co op and seeing your friend play as Arbiter or as an elite still retains the silhouette and movement of a CE elite.) voilà i fixed the franchise!
I believe the 40k number because 40k isnt alot. You log into fortnite, and many gamemodes have way more than 40k. Some even have 500k for a certain gamemode. So yea, they are supporting Infinite to an extent because theres players but moving on to another game because its not the foundation for the future that they wanted. Also, you are correct that Steam is a bigger platform than Xbox, but most people that play Halo are simply just on xbox. Halo hasnt cultivated a die-hard community on PC the last 20 years, so theres fewer people that are willing to play Halo when PC players have so many more options. Its like when they released CSGO on Xbox in 2013, it was really fun, but it just didn't pop off because xbox players arent conditioned to like CS. Lastly, your point about there being mods for CE so we dont need a remake, i disagree. Most players arent on PC so they dont have access to mods. They could do a great remake like the Resident Evil remakes or Dead Space, and it would make newer generations play the original story. Because you and i have played CE to death, but most younger casuals havent so it would introduce them to it. Because they will not go back and play the OG game. They just wont. Old graphics, old game, they immediately check out. Also, CE Anniversary wasnt really received that well so this is their chance to do it right.
@jacobwebb8818 He was all too happy to gaslight his community and make excuses for 343 for years and ignore the obvious until the general gaming push back against gaming companies policies.
They are Rebooting the Franchise with THEIR Lore as the Bungie Lore conflicts with their Stupid Bullshit. Halo Studios isn't a New Company, it's just 343 Rebranding itself. They are going to have the same Problems, because they have the Same People. People who HATE HALO.
Help it how? 343 is still on the driver seat, the problem will persist as long as they are in charge of the franchise. Selling it somewhere else is not going to magically fix the problem, it didn't when it they started selling it on Steam, it won't when they sell it on PS. Remastering it, remaking it, rebooting it won't fix the problem as long as 343 is making these games.
I personally disagree. Halo ce remastered was absolutely terrible. 343 personally need a break with the current timeline halo because they don’t even know where to take the franchise and u can also tell by playing the halo infinite campaign. If halo ce remake stays the same and add with the cut content that it was supposed to have with the graphics looking good and sticking to the art style then I’ll 100% buy it. Now before someone says it’s 343, I know and I have been suspicious of them even since before halo 4 came out and rightfully so. Halo ce remake can introduce new players to the franchise with the modern graphics and thrive by doing the same with halo 2 and halo 3
Is? Is? Unless this is a reup from ten yrs ago youre way late dude lol! Shit was overrated to start with, but everyone can agree its been declined through the fucking earth at this point.
You can have your opinion on not liking 343 and not wanting a remake however. THE REMAKE WILL NOT BE A REBOOT IT WILL BE THE SAME GAME WITH ADDED LORE FROM THE BOOKS AND CUT CONTENT MOST LIKELY AND FROM WHAT WE KNOW. I have heard multiple youtubers not liking 343. hiddenexperia confessed to having a hard time doing halo videos because no one liked halo and his entire channel was really struggling. Mint blitz has made multiple videos talking about what 343 should do. Ubernick talks about what they do is wrong. The biggest issue is how microsoft having too much control. 343 loves halo but microsoft 'loves' it. Sorry for the rant as well on this but i have nothing against you as person i just don't agree with this take.
"343 loves Halo" Holy smokes, could have fooled me! Especially when Frank O'Connor literally admitted in an interview the studio went out of its way to hire people who "hated Halo". Not "kind of liked Halo," or "were apathetic", but people who actively despised what Halo was, for various reasons. If 343 loved Halo, at any point, there wouldn't be such a massive split in the community, since the games would have not strayed so unbelievably far from their roots, as typically when you love something, you don't have to desire to alter it beyond recognition. 343's governance of the franchise has not seen Halo "change", as Bungie's games did over time, rather this has been more akin to violent mutilation. Frankly this alleged passion would have appeared somewhere in the jumbled mess they dare to call a "Saga". If what 343 has for Halo is indeed "love", then it is by far the most moronic, self-destructive and corrosive love I've ever witnessed.
they love halo so much they 343 cant even piss in the mouths of fans to keep them satisfied so they leave them dehydrated instead of giving them a drink because they fear they wont like it.
Bro cope harder obviously the REAL fans want a halo ce with ALL cut content added. Quit calling it a reboot... Reboot is different than this. THERE MAKING HALO CE UNCUT. Whats wrong with that?
I want a remake. Not by 343 tho
Why the fuck are we getting ANOTHER Halo CE release before Halo 3 Remastered???
Why do you want a H3 remaster? H3 still looks good and you know deep down a remaster will more than likely stuff it up, like CE Anniversary did. H2 Anniversary is a rare gem - don't assume H3 will get that treatment, it likely won't, and then we'll lose the OG Halo 3 forever.
Just leave Halo alone. People have been trying to reinvent it and stuff for a decade and it has been a sh*t show.
@@hrthrhs At this point Halo would be better off being sold to a whole other company.
Agreed they have their priorities utterly backwards.

Plot twist: There will be no halo 3 anniversary.

having another CE remake after halo anniversary, halo 4 and halo infinite is completely opening new ways for 343i to be lazy.
To be fair anniversary was a lazy remaster, not a remake.
@@CloakedZeus6547They could start by actually releasing a good game
“I know we're losing, I want to know if we've lost”
343 should be shut down. I'm honestly so done at this point
No we need bungie devs back
@SuperBetaBuxbros.

The fact that the bungie era games has a bigger active community than anything 343 does says alot.
Sadly, we won’t get that, and even if we did it would almost certainly be a dumpster fire since 343 is beyond incompetent.
a sign of a death franchise.
rip to the good times
@@3mpt7 Yeah I keep saying that to ppl- Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo Wars all came out in within just 3 years
And MS wonders why Halo was successful then but not now? I mean after halo 5 we waited 6 years for the next FPS. Halo Wars 2 did infact help fill the gap which is the only reason I have any liking for 343 and them bringing reach to MCC on PC. Lmao Nice of them to bring reach to MCC on its 10th Anniversary. but cheap when you think about it. Then theres H3 which they just forgot about remastering I guess oh wait no Halo Infinite was far more important I forgot
lmao MS str8 up passed up making H3A just so they could make a cheap piece of shit in a faster manner so they could sell all the games "content" in a fucking store
And also passed up reintroducing a system that H5 had which as bad is it kinda is was atleast successful in making some damn money
And all this further stems back to MCC's launch being an absolute shit show with servers being terrible and the game taking years to have any content; CGB, better MP, expanded content in general
If that shit was on MCC since 2014 it woulda been a hit. Imagine all the content it would have today if what exists now was there on launch day and they had time to go balls deep into adding modded content and making some small DLC's like the NOBLE and DEFIANT map packs back in 2011. Small DLC's with 3-5 maps, and some new armour to sell and earn. Thats not a bad deal at all
Instead of drip-feeding us dusty ass "new" games or updates that get just enough attention to cause controversy to keep their "fans" busy buying new games and talking about Halo "hoping" that 343 actually fixes/adds SOMETHING of value that isnt just a copy-paste of some trendy ass game like a BR game or whatever else they think is a "good game" format/idea
Unless it’s halo wars 3 I will never again buy a 343 game.
and halo wars 2 wasnt even made by them, it was done by creative assembly lol
No, CE fans get shafted with every release let us have our game.
But you won't get that game. I think you know that. They'll make it their interpretation of HCE and it'll suck like everything else they've ever done.
@@SparrowEmpirethey already did that. Why do it twice if not to fix their mistake?
@@proggz39 money?
@@SparrowEmpire Yeah probably. I have Ruby of Blue's Halo Rebalances and I would rather play those than 343 or even the Original versions.
And so The Monkey's Paw curls
Halo 4 had a generic ugly scifi artstyle and tried to be CoD. h
Halo 5 tried to copy mobility shooter trends but I will say they did improve the artstyle a bit compared to 4 (still generic), the campaign was the worst in the series and also introduced loot boxes.
"This time, it will be different,"
"How so? Like the 3 other times they said it would be different?"
"Well, um, this time, it'll be on Unreal, which is far easier to work on than the Blam engine,"
"You mean the same engine Bungie worked on OG halo as well as revamped it to the Tiger engine for Destiny for modern day that works perfectly fine for modern game development but yet 343 can't get the same overhauled engine that they made for slipspace to work supposedly?"
"Well, whatever change 343 did differently must have made it hard to add new content."
"And yet they still did add content and claimed they have a massive population that LOVE Halo Infinite, supposedly, and yet 343 is abandoning the game... because, let's be honest, there is no massive population, and there are no difficulties using the engine because they have no problem adding more overpriced cosmetics item. The fact is the population is dead, and anyone playing is no longer buying the content that 343 won't drop the price on"
I mean, what happens if we get a ce remake or a Halo 7 on UE5... and it flops as a buggy, unfinished, greedy product again?
Kashierra already did that job for you, just hire her and EVERYONE like her who truly cares about Halo to work with 343 Industries on Halo 3 Anniversary and Halo 7.
good new halo is more important
For me personally with Halo, I've given up with Microsoft, 343, and some of the Xbox Community (Since they want Halo as an exclusive). As for a CE remaster? eh, what are we at 4 CE releases now Xbox OG, HALO PC, 360 Remastered, now this? Also why would I bother with another company remaster when modders tend to do a far better job especially since modders tend to put more love & care in their mods. What'd help somewhat is if MCC came to PS5 and both consoles had mod support system like Fallout along with a modded custom games browser.
A lot people have been voicing their opinions on the state of Halo. The game devs of Halo should definitely learn from this. 🧐
I love Halo to death, but I'm really not excited about the Halo CE remake.
Reminder that just a few years ago Halo Infinite was being pitched as this BIG new thing that would REVITALIZE and RENEW the Halo franchise, it would be a return to former glory, this magnificent flagship for the next decade of Halo... "Wanna know the definition of insanity?"
It's over. Just play something else, folks.
No.
They're probably in meetings right now about how to aggressively implement microtransactions
I would LOVE some remakes of Halo with the cut bungie content and overhauled like the Resident Evil remakes!!! It would be easy to make them and most fans happy.
@@PandaJerk007idk about easy, nothing seems easy for 343. But they should do that
That won't happen.
I can appreciate how much honesty you showed in this video. Sometimes we are most critical of the things we care most about.
If Microsoft can #Fire343 , then we can talk about how to save the franchise.
Alsmot everyone in 343 recently was replaced. The team hasn't even made a updtae of their own yet give them a chance. 97% of the staff at 343i has been replaced. I hope they get a chance to do something.

Where did you get that 97 percent was replaced?
Hello! halo mcc peak is midnight which atm it has 6000+ players!

Not sure man
Honestly I think Xbox could have 10-15 times more Halo players than on Steam, but still that would only be ~10,000 players on Xbox.
Absolutely NOTHING you wrote in your comment has a silver slivers chance of ever happening and you should stop giving MS and 343 your money.

I'm not sure I understand the thought process at work here.
For me, Halo was put to rest after Reach.
I knew Halo was officially cooked when instead of anger and resentment being felt towards infinite, I just felt indifferent and forgot about it. I love Halo though, and still play MCC everyday. 343 blew their chances forever ago.
Get you friends together and play custom games. Whether it’s MCC or Infinite. Halo is best when it’s social
The first remaster for CE is fine, we don't need another. I just wish they'd give Halo 3 the same remaster Halo 2 got.
Great video Sher! I love the passion man keep it up!
They just wanted to copy The COD Formula. Pay big streamers and content creators to hype up the game wait for the credit cards to come....they gutted of the best IPs
Halo Infinite is great now, but it should have had all this at launch. It is too late to regain fans.
Just play Ruby of Blue mods. Halo 2 Rebalanced is coming in the near future (1 year I guess). They are better than any crap 343 can pull off
People need to stop with the damn Halo 3 Remaster crap.
We need dlc's for halo infinite before any new halos to be honest
They could bring single player campaign mods to consoles
I recently tried Infinite for the first time, played it a few times, didn't like it, went back to MCC.
I just found the gameplay so boring, the maps dull, the progression aimless, well...everything felt aimless, really, everything except the microtransactions. Even H5's mp grabbed my attention for a longer period, and that player base also fell off quickly despite it's fun mp, and hard push for esport. 343 is not cut out for Halo.
Halo CE remake is a terrible idea, 343 will just continue to mess things up, and this time instead of failing by their own screw ups, they'll be messing up the Legacy of Halo with cheap cashgrab reboot/remake. They get to rewrite and change the original Halo games with their awful vision. This isn't just a remake like Anniversary 1 and 2, this is a full blown reboot, as in 'reimagening' were they change the core of the game, and after 15 years of failures, do you want 343 to do that to the legacy of Halo? because that's they'll be going forward with this, it won't continue bungie's story, it will continue Their version of the Halo Trilogy, their revision.
"this time things will be better" every new halo 343 project.I recently tried Infinite for the first time, played it a few times, didn't like it, went back to MCC.I just found the gameplay so boring, the maps dull, the progression aimless, well...everything felt aimless, really, everything except the microtransactions. Absolutely loved Halo: Infinite's campaign... but It's time to rest the series.
Or... get a new developer.
and after halo CE aniversary 2 we'll get another Halo 2 remake.
It took me a while to figure out what game you were playing haha
they should make a halo open world game with fetch quests, sincerely a playstation gamer :)
2:43 @mintBlitz scum
What's wrong with Mint Blitz?
@jacobwebb8818 He was all too happy to gaslight his community and make excuses for 343 for years and ignore the obvious until the general gaming push back against gaming companies policies.
They just want HALO: EDI Edition
They are Rebooting the Franchise with THEIR Lore as the Bungie Lore conflicts with their Stupid Bullshit.
Halo Studios isn't a New Company, it's just 343 Rebranding itself. They are going to have the same Problems, because they have the Same People. People who HATE HALO.
Should stage a boycott. Everyone play MCC and leave Infinite in the dust bin where it belongs
I find least for me thats the prob, AAA games are no bueno just made to be cash grabs, and nothing more.
I agree man, A CE remake is the last thing I want from Halo right now.
What they should do is just port MCC to Switch/PS5
theres to many halo videos for me to watch, if i got more than 120fps on halo i would play more
my que times are ATROCIOUS
Halo ce is a classic like the godfather
Good, everyone return to MCC
Halo infinite averages about 3700 players at peak each day. more than 800. still pathetic though
It's been averaging less than MCC. They should just port it into MCC tbh.
People underestimate how much releasing a CE remaster specifically on PlayStation would help the franchise
If the NEW games are still bad, then this scooping water out of the titanic at best though.
Help it how? 343 is still on the driver seat, the problem will persist as long as they are in charge of the franchise.
Selling it somewhere else is not going to magically fix the problem, it didn't when it they started selling it on Steam, it won't when they sell it on PS. Remastering it, remaking it, rebooting it won't fix the problem as long as 343 is making these games.
honestly every new halo game isn't gonna be exciting
😑
great video
Please move on and play other games 😂 343 is never going to give you what you want
Womp womp
I made some content on why halos gone to sh*t. That might provide some context for you.
Basic ass halo crybaby
facts!
This is a bad take and the numbers hes spitting out are way off!
How??
Better games exist. Play something else one day you’ll love it
It's not just about a game but also what the game means to the greater community.
halo 5 was sooo much better
Said no one ever
Sorry man, but this is a bad take
wym?
nuh uh halo isn't Declining
Its a shame you weren't around for the good times. If you think this isn't a declination, idk what to tell you
Creative assembly made halo wars 2
Bro cope harder obviously the REAL fans want a halo ce with ALL cut content added. Quit calling it a reboot... Reboot is different than this. THERE MAKING HALO CE UNCUT. Whats wrong with that?
And yet they dont want to hire bungie devs who worked on the first game?? I hope am terribly wrong and want to be laughed at, we'll see
