One Piece series is long asf, but it has so much to the story. The characters have so much depth, the mystery of the One Piece, the hidden history of the world, ancient artifacts, weapons, a secret world government, everything. It's truly a masterpiece
One Piece is like 70% adventure and 30% mystery! The more you watch the more and more you’ll enjoy it! I think you’ll really like it - make sure to pay attention to every little detail :)

Man you are in for a treat. I'm rereading it and i wish i can read it for the first time again.
Golden Age of Pirates was a real thing in the 1700s and Oda makes sure to reference many famous pirates and events of that age, which is so cool.
One thing going into One Piece: this is like a novel. It builds and feeds on itself to enhance itself. Don't go into it expecting world-shaking stakes on the first 10 episodes. Those come later. Waaaay later. And they are absolutely worth the journey.
ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT 100% how many ppl said its to long and are on their 2nd run now?
Dont get in One Piece too hyped cuz it starts very slow. If you like visuals and strong powers you'll have to wait a lot for that, the start is very slow and wierd and is more about meeting the world and the characters. About 40~50 episodes in is when you'll probably get hooked. The peak and the greatness starts around 230 and it never stops, it only gets better. You are in for a long long ride, but if you keep watching it will be so worth it, I promise.
At the same time don't downplay those first 200 episodes. The pattern of "This is peak One Piece" *watch 50 episodes* "THIS is peak One Piece" starts around episode like ... 30?

For me, as soon as I saw zoro at the end of episode 1, I was like “WHO IS THAT?” And that curiosity made me want to watch/learn more

I've already been into one piece for over 20 years now and this got me so hyped for what's to come while at the same time getting in the feels for what I've seen already! I wish I could tell you how many times I have said to people that One Piece would make an amazing MMO!

The Flying Dutchman/Davy Jones thing is an actual myth. In fact, Pirates of the Caribbean used it too.
actually the Flying Dutchman was a real Ship, The Flying Dutchman was a part of the Dutch East India Company’s fleet of ships, sailing between the Netherlands and the East Indies, carrying silks, spices, dyes, and other exotic items from Asia to Europe. The ship was caught in a storm while returning to Amsterdam. and was Skippered by one Captain Hendrick Van Der Decken, so in theory Oda Got the Captain and Ship Correct to history. But Van Der Decken was not a Pirate he was a Captain under the East India trading company's Dutch Division.

I think it's best to experience One Piece from episode 1. It's a perfect set up to the journey, sounds rather cliche to start from episode 1 but I really think that's the best way to start the series. You get the basic idea of the journey, who the Pirate King is, who is Luffy, what is Luffy, where is Luffy and who he is with. I like the videos you are watching that get you hyped up but episode 1 can give you that same feeling, as simple as it sounds. At the end of the day, do whatever you think is best for your experience.

I think every one piece fan's dream is for one piece MMO, RPG with open world existing to be honest 🥲 I'm no exception. Just to imagine the possibilities, oh my god. I'm shaking...
Imagine...
1) You would be able to choose what you want to be - pirate, marine, bounty hunter, revolutionary, or just some kind of explorer and stuff. And of course as you go on your adventures...you would also be able to switch mid way, like for example starting out as a part of the navy and then becoming a traitor and a pirate. Also, being able to raise in ranks OMG. From some no one to a warlord or a yonko, from little navy officer to an admiral!!!!
2) designing your own character, have the freedom to make the whackiest, most badass, most beautiful and most fantastic characters. You could choose race (skypeian, giant, human, half-giant, long-leg tribe, three-eye tribe etc.), their clothes and attributes and everything.
3)Learning and obtaining the powers.Haki and zillions of fruits to choose from!!! Either buying it on a black market or stumbling upon it by chance
4)Making your own crew from other ppl that play the game or joining one! Designing your own ship and flag, having bounty on your head, slowly increasing it as you go!! Having other players as bounty hunters going after you to collect your bounty and stuff.
5)Combat? COMBAT. The enemiesssss would be so dope too!!!
6)imagine making life-long friends like this holy shit
6) exploration of familiar and unfamiliar places!! The amount of potential that OP world has is insane. One time ur going to sky, the other under the sea. I just want to explore the vast seas man. (Being able to go also to the other blues than grandline only. Ig everyone would start from a random blue they would choose and have to fight through it to the grandline)
Anyway, it sounds all so amazing, but it's a pipe dream. At least still for now. But if one day smth like this comes out, I'm playing it 24/7.
Pick one of the Four Blues for Tutorials. Depending on which Blue you pick, the difficulty is different with East Blue being the easiest.

The watched when I was a teenager and been watching the rest my life I love One Piece so much there are some ps4 games the did say a game coming out call One Piece Odyssey but if play the game I play and the one will spoil because it father into the story . The name game I play is one piece red world unlimited on the ps4 but it's also on the switch
Due to the unique nature of devil fruits I don't think a One Piece MMO would work but damn would it be fun if it was done right.

You're spoiled with all these vids man lol. When you get into One Piece you have to take it slow and just enjoy it. The buildup and patience is what makes it pay off. You can't really get it just by watching videos here and there or seeing some spoilers
