To answer your question about opening 1's dialogue, it also was the manga's opening introduction. Basically, a pirate named Gold Roger found everything the world had to offer. And before he was executed, he invited the world to find his treasure, saying anyone who could find it, could have it.
Drazu, in case you read this, the opening in the dub goes like this: "There once was a man named Gold Roger, who was King of the Pirates. He had fame, power, and wealth beyond your wildest dreams. Speaking of the toonami era there is another opening not on this playlist, the 4kids dub opening, the pirate rap. An opening anyone who watched this back in the 2000s remembers. Also op 8 I believe is a remake of op 1 but with the cast singing. And my final bit of info is one piece has hardly any filler. Manga chapters to episodes is basically 1014 eps to 1000 chapters but there are some filler throughout the anime but it’s usually isolated filler arcs of 1-6 eps
something to tell all new one piece fans is think of it this way. Often times u enjoy a show it will end and u will be left unsatisfied and wanting more episodes and more content. With one piece the length of it is good since u get more content and more time/episodes to watch this greatness that is one piece. Another thing is that the length of the show is one of its strong suits, part of the enjoyment is seeing the progression of the characters and learning more about the world. Aswell as seeing some things come around full circle from older episodes. And of course the fact that the author/mangaka Echira Oda the man who creates one piece. he is a genius he somehow has kept the series going for so long and not only has it not gotten bad it is only getting better. one piece has not peaked yet and tbh feels like it never will its just so good and onlygets better
I have to disagree with the idea that it helps stop you wanting more once it's over. No matter how long it is when it ends I'm still going to want a ton more of it.
@@admiralmonocle3874 A good way to understand is to imagine a whole different new series that happens to be around 1000 episodes as well. Knowing practically nothing about it and seeing how much of a commitment it would be to catch up, would you be willing to give said imaginary series a shot? Naturally we as one piece fans don't get why people complain about the length since we are already invested and have seen the highs that the show has to offer which always leaves us wanting more. People who haven't started yet don't know anything like we do, all they see is a huge number in front of them and it reasonably scares them away. They wouldn't have that drive to go on the journey of watching hundreds of episodes/reading hundreds of manga chapters and getting caught up when they have no investment into the series.
I know a dude who only got into anime late in life, he was like 22 or smth and instead of approach the beast by the sides, he madlad just grab it by the horns and watched the whole of One Piece in a like half an year won my respect instantly

Well he had already done it like this, so your comment couldn't change much. And he didn't notice a time skip in his reaction to the other openings, so you have given him an unnecessary spoiler. Please be careful with spoilers. Same message to the 33 people who gave your message a thumbs up.
A few things. 1) Sanji was initially trained by a guy who earned the name Red Foot by kicking people so hard, they stained his shoes red. 2) My favorite gag, in OP11, is when Chopper and Brook jumped into the sea to save Luffy. All three+ Robin cannot swim. It is a fact of their biology. Dip them up to their waist and they go as limp as a noodle and sink like a brick. And Chopper and Brook dove right in.
Oh yeah, as a note on the whole 'soloing a ship' thing you brought up in the 7th opening? That's mid by that point. We've already seen people who can straight up bisect ships long before then. Luffy beat someone on their level (who was likely not taking the fight as seriously as they needed to but the point stands).
One thing EVERYONE says after they have caught up is: "Damn, this show doesn't have enough episodes"
Period Sir.

Ok the actual op 8 wasn’t in this but it’s just a remix of op 1 with the voice actors singing it
Fuck the 4kids remake we try to forget that happened
Man the pirate rap takes me back, I was just starting university and I'm still gasping for more One Piece 😂
@@kentendo6453 sanji smokes lollipops I can’t agree with that decision
@@TubaTonyNFL I know it's terrible 😂
Oda has promised that the one piece is NOT metaphorical.
wait till you see every backstory, you will cry so hard :)
I find the idea of Roger talking shit at the start hilarious
something to tell all new one piece fans is think of it this way. And of course the fact that the author/mangaka Echira Oda the man who creates one piece. he is a genius he somehow has kept the series going for so long and not only has it not gotten bad it is only getting better. one piece has not peaked yet and tbh feels like it never will its just so good and onlygets better
w
Correct. I really don't understand people complaining about how long the series is.
The problem with the anime is the pacing. but other than that one piece is good
I have to disagree with the idea that it helps stop you wanting more once it's over.
I know a dude who only got into anime late in life, he was like 22 or smth
and instead of approach the beast by the sides, he madlad just grab it by the horns and watched the whole of One Piece in a like half an year
won my respect instantly
There is a joke within the communities that Gildarts and red hair guy from one piece are the same person, because they both rarely show up so they have enough time to star in another show.
“He talkin his shit” bruh lol he just explaining the show homie I’m dead af 😂😂😂
Well, if you had watched 2 more openings, you had a perfect cutpoint. You almost had all Pre-Timeskip and Post-Timeskip Openings in separate Videos.
Well he had already done it like this, so your comment couldn't change much. And he didn't notice a time skip in his reaction to the other openings, so you have given him an unnecessary spoiler.
Please be careful with spoilers.
Same message to the 33 people who gave your message a thumbs up.
Glad this video came up in my recommended you're so funny.
great reaction, please part 2
"did the ship get an upgrade?" me crying: yes
28:13 My boy Gildartz hahahaha
"ThEY fLoATiN In thE SaME wATeR"
Yeah its called the sea
A few things.
1) Sanji was initially trained by a guy who earned the name Red Foot by kicking people so hard, they stained his shoes red.
2) My favorite gag, in OP11, is when Chopper and Brook jumped into the sea to save Luffy. All three+ Robin cannot swim. It is a fact of their biology. Dip them up to their waist and they go as limp as a noodle and sink like a brick. And Chopper and Brook dove right in.
One Piece will pull emotions out of you. So many moments will make you tear up.
Oh yeah, as a note on the whole 'soloing a ship' thing you brought up in the 7th opening?
That's mid by that point.
We've already seen people who can straight up bisect ships long before then.
Luffy beat someone on their level (who was likely not taking the fight as seriously as they needed to but the point stands).
it will be best discovery of your life time
one piece hits different
My favorite is next "We fight together" most emotional opening ever...... for reasons 🥲❤
Yeah. 13 is my favorite also. Legendary opening
It’s emotional and imo cathartic
It spoils what happnes in Marineford though. (Flashes by the events, but still)
Do it man, I am on ep 35 already just in week. Its getting more and more good
i will never understand this. why would you watch a series of big spoilers before watching the show.
When he said "did the ship get a upgrade?" I teared a bit
My man just spoiled anime only watchers lmao
About the One Piece…I have two words: Trust Oda.
prepare tissues
@@000CherryBlossom000 that too
Oh man, i started watching about 10 years ago and these openings are super nostalgic 😩
Gildarts was heavily inspired by this character.
Great video, can't wait for a part 2
Fairytale stole a lot from one piece
Nope. He was inspired by One Piece.
Yo no shame on Shanks with his little screen time wanting to make some pocket money in Fairy Tail!
Another new nakama? bet, ima cozy up here and run the playlist for the one time.
for the thousands reacts of one piece that i' have heard, you problably are the one the pay attention the most!
I use many of these tracks when I’m working out. Very suitable!
There are two types of People
1.) Man One piece is Too long
2.) Man when is the next One piece episode coming 😂😂
Ong people don’t usually make me laugh this quick but I have to sub😭😭literally 3 mins in the video
Let me be the first to say I have yet to even know or hear of a person whose watched one piece and hasn't fallen deep for its greatness
"I'm not gonna cry on camera, you're not gonna see my tears."
- someone who hasn't watched One Piece on camera.
