  • Today we went to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore to do an amazing canoe trip along the beautiful Apostle Islands carved out sea caves. If you have never been to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore I highly recommend going to visit. I will definitely be going back in the future. We camped out the night before at Anchor Inn campground in Port Wing, WI. Then the next morning we got up somewhat early to go canoe the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. It was about a 6 hour round trip in our canoes so you could probably do it quicker in kayaks. I recommend picking a day where there is very low wind, otherwise it could get pretty dangerous on that lake next to the Apostle Islands sea caves.
    Thanks for watching!

Heading out there this weekend, where did they go fishing at and what lures did they use? Awesome video.

Awesome! Apostle Islands is such a beautiful spot. So we stayed at the Anchor Inn Campground & Cabins
in Port Wing, Wi. I am pretty sure we caught the fish with a shiny spinner just casting off of one of the bridges going over a stream from Bibon Lake to the Port Wing Marina. I think it was the bridge on Quarry Road. Good luck, there are some big fish in there!

That looks so awesome! Did you go with a tour group? If so, which one? Which caves did you go to? What one was the coolest?

Thanks, i'm glad you liked it! We did not go with a tour group, we decided to do it on our own, but we saw lots of tour groups throughout the day. We went in just about every cave we could fit in along the Bayfield Peninsula Sea Cave shoreline and I'd say our favorite one by far was the cave we entered at 8:35 in the video. It was about 30-40 feet long and we had to duck the whole way through it.

@@EternalFrameProductions, gosh. It looked amazing. Did you remember what cave that was? @ 8:35?

@@maxthao5002 I am not sure what the name of the cave was. I'm sure one of the tour guides could tell you though.

Do the Madeleine Islands also have shoreline caves?
