- In this video we will see how to make Arisi paruppu sadam in Tamil. This dal rice is a quick and easy variety rice recipe which is very tasty and can be served with fryums. This is a kongu region special sister. I am from Coimbatore. We all love this.. it is also called "kongu naatu biryani"!!!
Some of us just grind curry leaves, red chilli and jeeragam. And add it.. it will add a different punch. Same ingredients, but it's effect will be a bit different 🙂

Recently I moved to Bangalore. Chumma amma pandradhu elam papen. Basic knowledge iruku in cooking. Paruppu sadham is one of my favorite in Mom's kitchen. I tried this recipe recently at my home and turned out perfectly well. I tried white sauce pasta from your receipe as well. It came out in restraunt style. My husband appreciated me so much. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. This is a very famous variety rice of kongu area. Adding sambar powder is very important in this particular recipe.Then You will find it more yummy.
My mom makes this at home with Appalam, raitha and pickle. It gets over faster than Biriyani in our house.
