You do every job like you want it done for yourself. And that's just plain awesome. You don't take shortcuts, but give every job your all. This has been fun to watch, Chris and I look forward to the next steps. Thanks for sharing.
I was thinking to myself, how does he get anything done with that little amount of equipment? 😂 But seriously, it doesn’t seem to matter what you have, you do an amazing job. I always love to see that choice of equipment that is used in the USA, i never realized what a small dozer or a skidsteer can do in the the right hands, what really surprised me, is that there are no wheeled diggers arround or used for smaller jobs like that, are the not allowed to travel on public roads over there?
Pond Master, road builder, building demolition, cattle farmer, hay farmer, part time heavy equipment mechanic, crane operator, dozer driver, excavator operator, road grader driver, dump truck driver, what else can you be called but 'just good'?
I understand if you may not always want to talk or explain things, but I really appreciate when you do explain and share your knowledge. I know there is a lot of planning and calculating on these jobs and I always appreciate hearing the facts, calculations and planned or unplanned thinking process.
That crusher run, as it would be known here, were it virgin material, runs $600 Cdn. For a 21 ton tri-axle load. And it disappears into thin air when you spread it, so it seems.
Chris, what’s also great about the jobs you do is that the customers get a step by step record of everything involved. It must give them piece of mind. You’ll never be out of work. Thanks for taking us along. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
That's actually the main road in to the house from what I remember from last summer when he stopped the road where he did. They hadn't quite decided where the house was to go at that point.
That’s some nice crushed concrete it has a lot of powder in it!…once the grader started rolling it off the blade…the next thing I remember…it was Tuesday morning!
Dang son, you keep workin at gate spreading you can semi retire the skid steer and motor grader, nice job on the road build sir, thanks for the update.
I love your attitude of "If its broke fix it!, if it worn out , replace it!" No half junk clanking around on the end of it's life just waiting to hurt people. Betty was prime, even more more that drag line. But "The Old 220" with a $10,000.00 up grade.. You obviously know that working gear makes money and clean gear brings it in...
I bloody fucking love the under grader shots. They are my favourite. The only thing that could make them better is if could could should a little third of the screen what levers your pulling to do what so is sofa operators can be fully RUclips certified. I wouldn’t have a clue how you would do it mind.
Chris now you and I know that the D7 would have been a much happier choice for that job 😄 when your driving the D7 I almost think I can hear you smiling 😁😁
When you scoop up a bucket of material with the loader I would shift the bucket dump handle forward and back just a tad over the pile so your not spreading material all over the place as your loading into the truck ! 🤔👍👍👍

Oh fun. Guess with the clues from the shorts I saw, you got a minute to work for Beally Good on his driveway. The way that crushed concrete rolls off that motor grader blade made me think of a little miniature surfer dude riding those waves would be cool. Wish I was a good animator. Just looked like a cool ocean wave the way it curled with all that dust in it. Might be time for me to get to the beach soon the way my mind is working these days. Thanks for all the entertainment Chris. PS with all that equipment on the job a guy could be fooled into thinking there was a ten man crew on the job there. It works though having one good operator that knows all the machines. Better than trying to do the job with the wrong tool. One could make it work in the end but not nearly as efficiently.
Could you grab one or two 12v radiator cooling fans for small car or whatever and rig them up in front of the radiator for temporary use? If there's a way to mount them quick n easy then you would have them for similar uses after the fan belt comes in. Probably too late now anyway, just a thought.
Well, this certainly made my weekend enjoyable along with the two teams winning I wanted to win plus the Lions winning yesterday. Chris done topped off my Sunday with more motorgrader work. That property seems to be taking over from the Bealy Good homestead as far as quantity of return projects are concerned. Both are equally enjoyable to watch tho.

In the UK just about everything gets crushed, dumping is so difficult and expensive, you can get anything from rough fill right through to sand and topsoil, cheaper than quarries but still expensive. The process machines wash, separate and crush the input material, basic machines cost well over a million quid most demolition sites use a crusher to convert rubble to hardcore.. We have three within a couple of miles of here, in South Cumbria. @@letsdig18
I can still see the last piece of your equipment puzzle nearly every machine you sat on that I'm aware of you have in your possession, not counting auctions, you still have to get that giant tractor from that older gentleman, the tractor as big as a house, you sat in it and that was your mark it's yours now you just have to acquire it. Maybe I'm an old fool but just like that drag line you can't let that relic of a bygone era just waste away. Or maybe you can.
As an excavator operator with 1000's of hours of loading out trucks, how come you're not loading the truck to full capacity to maximize your loads? It looks like you're only loading about two thirds at best. I have 1000's of hours loading using a loader as well. I grab 2 corner buckets (left and right each) and put them in the front and back to maximize the loads to their full potential.
@@letsdig18 Thanks for your reply! Totally understand the weight laws. I think your loads are safely under 20 tons.
