Interesting finds I have some of those gryphea and Lobsters from Atherfield ,I agree it’s a dangerous beach watching the waves all the time is a must

Yes we definitely did keep a constant eye on the tide. There are places where u can get up but also places where u can get cut off and stranded.

FFS get a bloody microphone,.......you might get more likes if people can hear you.

It was due to a full armour phone case that muffled the sound. I no longer have the case. So other videos should be better. I have stated this on my iow videos. I was not aware that it was doing it until after I uploaded all the video files to pc after I returned. But I still uploaded them as some people may still like to see them even though the audio quality isn't great.
It's not necessary to swear to make a point. Constructive comments are always welcome
I will certainly look into a microphone but I can't use anything bulky and the wind was also a major factor during that week it was extreme..

@@DJFossils ok I understand as not everyone has top notch gear!! , used to collect fossils around Cayton bay/ Whitby many years ago and actually enjoy posts. The sheer joy in cracking open a concretion and out pops a gem of an ammonite is worth the wind and rain. Keep it up 👍👍

I will look into a microphone but from what I've seen any decent quality ones are bulky and small ones are not great quality sound I wish the sound was better and the phone case is binned it was bought to protect the phone as I've broken the screen previously when out hunting !!! Not great. I have many more videos to upload that should be much better sound as the mic on the s22 is pretty decent usually. Yes totally agree the enjoyment of finding a great fossil is so good we certainly don't mind if the wind and rain try to stop us and the best hunting is after stormy weather. We're up in Yorkshire again soon for a week of hunting. Hoping the weather will be kind to us lol
