Same thing happening to my 2003 GZ250. Currently have another carburetor on the way, my mechanic friend said it might be the ignition coil, but I will check the wires near the chain. So frustrating when it stops I feel like I've pushed it more than I've rode it.
I had the same thing happen but it chewed through all the wires. I’ve reconnected the all but still no power to the bike. Any tips on what to try next?
when i turn on the key the stop light, the neutro light and light it self starts blinking, someone told me it is a ground wire is loose, How can i find it.
That's lit, unfortunately I don't have either anymore sold the bike & lent the helment to a friend never seen it again 😂 it's a fun bike though. If you haven't yet straight pipe that bih it sounds amazing check out my video showing mine with a straight pipe
I've had mine since last summer I didn't get the title right till like the end up riding season the lady messed up the paper work for it so I spent 3 months trying to get it squared away
@@kingofthecards9767 damn that sucks I had a similar situation happen to me with a different bike before dude lost the title than had to wait for a new one and then the MF signed the wrong spot 🤦 Some people are just something else 😂
If you're certain that the bike isn't getting spark I would try to find the ignition coil first as it is the cheaper item to replace, sometimes the wire comes loose over time just follow the wire that goes to the spark plug
If no wires are clipped check the fuse if that's fine try jumping the starter solenoid with a screw driver if it starts with this change the starter solenoid if that doesn't work check all the safety switches. kickstand, kill switch, clutch switch but try pop starting it before you remove the safety switches if it pop starts then it's a starter
i just bought a gz250 has power ect but we put it in gear took sparkplug out and wont turn over when trying spin the back wheel does this sound similar to your issue?
newzealand antics that's strange mine made no noise when trying to jump the solenoid if it's just clicking first tap the starter with a hammer to rule out a bad starter if it's not that I would check for oil lmk
I have a similar issue. I believe you said the bike has a clutch and kickstand interrupter, as well as the kill switch. Is that true? Are there any others such as on the front break, etc. Thanks.
D Bearden sorry to hear hopefully you can fix it unfortunately I tried pop starting mine and that didn't work It was the wires that went to the kill switch in my case. I guess if you were able to pop start yours you did not in fact have the same thing happen
Thanks crazy 6yrs ago and you still helping
Cheers for that dude. Two wires clipped by chain....bypassed with new wires and suspended them away from chain. Fires up fine now
No ubico donde está el CDI de mi 250 gz Suzuki alguien me ayuda
Quita el asiento. Es posible que tengas que quitar la caja de herramientas para ver el CDI, pero está ahí.

Try changing the fuse and make sure you reconnected all the wires
@@Drop3gears had that exact problem with mine just now. Saw the spark when I hit the start switch. Have to get some 20 amp maxi-blade fuses.

follow the negative cable from your battery to where it bolts to usually on the frame
Reaching out for bit of assist & little help if that’s possible

No spark - whats the problem ?
Is it CDI unit issue or Coil Pack Issue..
Pls Help..

I have the same problem except I do not see any wires clipped. Do you know any other fixes?

Drop A Gear I looked at all the sensors and wiring its all fine but when i try start it it just clicks even putting a screw driver across The relay

My 125 died yesterday in the same way, it's been bobbed and fuk knows where the last dude has the wiring moved to, I'll try this though dude.

What kinda jacket you wearing while riding?
Justin Lyons thats a puma jacket

Not every mouse🐀 eats the wires in the same place Clean your shop up and you probably won't have so much trouble
You did watch right literally got chewed up while riding and cut off on me 🤣
