Great tips! Northeast Alabama here. I love seeing the internet and crafts connecting good, like minded folks from the world. Amazing isn't it, people are basically the same all over. We may speak differently and have different religions and ways of living but it seems creativity or necessity drive us to craft or engineer things. Hello world!
Ann watching from Southeastern North Carolina. 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I love love watching you. Learned so much from your inspiration. Look forward to seeing more. I do watch you all the time on my TV. I don't have an option to like from my TV so I have to come to my phone to leave messages and like. Catch you on your next one. Ann
I am wondering if you can give us some hints and ideas on organizing the work space. I upcycle as a side hustle and am in a state of overwhelm. Thanks so much!!
After watching your channel i bought a huge roll of packing tape!!😂 But.... i tried the Vaseline method with transfer over it and it didn't stick over those areas... I'll try the wax!! And do you think it was the chaulk paint that made it smear a bit when i sanded over it??
I'm not very bold when it comes to just giving things a try when I haven't seen a tutorial that shows it works...so that beings me to my question. When using the packing tape does it have to be words or would a photo work. I watched another contributors video where they used plastic circles (recycled clear lids) and did a stained glass effect using pressed flowers. I'm wondering , so the see through effect will still be there, of a photo can be put on the packing tape. It would then be placed between two plastic disks. Would the printer type matter?
With the first hack, chippy paint with candle wax- I've found that duct tape is much better for this technique. It's still a portion of how I distress things now.

NM. If we tear the packing tape off quickly, will we get more distress the first time? Can this be done with acrylic paint??
It’s just a technique that you can play around with and see how it works for you. There’s not really any real way of doing it.
@@OurUpcycledLife thank you
