This is a very nice pattern, however, polyester attracts and holds moisture, which causes pins and needles to rust. Cotton batting or even cotton fabric scraps are a better choice.
🤗🌟 Thanks so much! I have them all around my sewing room. ☺️ I recently made one perfect for the Holidays using the same pattern and tutorial. Here is the link to the short video ruclips.net/user/shortszpPO00mQ6T4?si=A6XHPfteCkK1Tee2 Happy Sewing! ✂️ 🧵
Love that you used owl eyes rather than just buttons... hadn't thought of that. It is so darn cute!! Suggestion... maybe add the fabric sizes used for beginners (i.e. body 9x15") rather than putting pattern on fabrics to decide. I had a couple friends ask me and i didn't know since i haven't made it yet.
Hi. Thanks so much for watching and for the suggestion. You can use a 6in x 6in square for the owl’s body and a 4in W x 4in H rectangle for the owl’s belly. Happy Sewing! ✨
Thanks so much! And thanks so much for watching! Happy Sewing! 🪡 🧵 (I can’t wait to see your finished cute little owl! You can tag me on Instagram @luli.print to get featured in my stories) :)
Thanks for sharing this pattern and tutorial. I'm in the process of making a little owl pincushion, and it's not coming out so well. I mean, it will be OK for me, but not good enough to give away. I'll try your pattern and no doubt it will come out a WHOLE lot better than my first attempt.
@@luliprint Thanks so much! I know what I did wrong on mine, after looking at your pattern. Mine is OK if you like little short, fat, roundy owls. With short noses. LOL
@@theREmissionary LOL sounds very cute! ☺️ I’m happy the pattern was helpful. I have a few around my sewing room and they are so practical and cute to have around. It’s going to be a great gift!

Thanks so much for your feedback. I will keep that in mind for my future videos. Also, I wanted to make it beginner friendly so it’s easier to see each step in detail. ✂️🧵
@@VeeVeeVeeV Yes, this is what I use also. And it's a lot easier to speed it up than it is to slow down sometimes. Thanks for sharing the details for all those newbies out there!
Thank you very much! This is the best owl tutorial I have seen!

Very clear instructions. Great camera angles and lighting, too. Thanks!

I don’t want to sound mean but I think you should have fast forward through some of the video. Way to long but a beautiful product in the end.
