    If you want to see how I made the shirt I am wearing (also from fabric scraps), here's the video - ruclips.net/video/pXIl5uJzgFI/видео.html

    I made some of these with a different technique, the burrito method. I used flower and veggie fabric remnants from the thrift store and made “Sprinkler Scrunchies” or “Faucet Friends.”
    Now when I turn on the water I wear the scrunchie around my wrist so I don’t forget the watering, and then return it back to the faucet where it stays until next time. I’m so proud of my little idea and our house sitter loved it too!

    I've been watching your videos before I even got a sewing machine and now that I have one I'm completely overwhelmed with project ideas! I tend to get over ambitious with ideas as a beginner, so it was nice to wake up to a simple and useful project. Thanks for sharing!

      I totally understand you! It can, for sure, get very overwhelming when excitement and creativity take over. I have a perfect video for you, it starts with very simple projects to build your sewing and pattern skills and I explain why and how :) here it is - ruclips.net/video/qr6gXhevWw8/видео.html

    It’s nice to see you do small more manageable projects. Sometimes sewing bigger items can be overwhelming 😅😅.

    Thank you very much, Alisa! For people with hair long enough to put in a ponytail, having a scrunchie to go with our new garment is icing on the cake. I want to try that wider style now!

      @ThoughtfulCreativity  11 дней назад

      Oh yes, also choose smooth fabric, like silk or silk like, and then you will be able to slide scrunchie out of your hair without much damage to the hair!

    How do you stop the elastic from twisting when you insert it, or do you not have to worry about that? Thanks for the easy-to-follow video.

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  3 дня назад +1

      Hmm... I don't really have a problem with it, I just untwist it if needed and then continue with the steps. But it only happens once in a while. Thank you, I hope you make some for yourself :)

    I am watching your videos religiously and learning so much. I am new to this field trying to learn sewing by myself. I have seen your drafting bodice block with dart video. Tried myself. But my shoulder seam of front and back bodice is not matching length wise. Please help me with this. How can adjust this? Or I have taken any measurements wrong? Please help.

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  9 дней назад

      Hello there! I would say you have 2 options: 1) go back, retrace your steps and see if you have taken wrong measurements or drafted something slightly off or 2) you can match one of the shoulder seams to the other (so extend, or shorten) and then make a mock up and you will see pretty clearly if something is off.
