Thank you so much! I have actually made a few changes to this box since this video. Literally, right now as I type this reply, I'm at my desk putting the strings back on. It took a little bit of time to figure out what was working and what wasn't and what I liked, so let's just say now that the spring reverb tank is gone (I already have one attached to the back of my modular rig anyway) and there are two guitar necks! No doubt I'll make a video on it soon enough. Either way though, thanks again!
Damn, this is the kinda stuff i live for, sounding very very nice alongside the birds chirping away outside... I can imagine this being an intro to some kinda dark film...
Hoorah! And thank you! I'm already making changes now it's in a playable form. Really want to find some (free...) clock springs. And now I know it's working, maybe I'll do one better than my wobbly $6 eBay violin bow! Might stretch to one of the $12 models...
Love the atmosphere. That instrument you've created, I really like how it sounds, sometimes it almost resembles a voice. Accompanied by the deep, rich bass I presume is from the model d, wow.
Thank you very much! Yep, the model d is pretty much doing all the bass work. The voice-like sound, i believe, is a mixture of really manipulating the strings and the bow mixed with the filtering options on the Mimeophon. It took me a while to figure out the Mimeophon, and yes there is a bit of that background digital hiss that a lot of people talk about, but it's such a nice module that I can work around the one or two things that I find a bit difficult. Thanks again!
Thank you very much! I said to you a little while ago that I was working on something pretty different. Well, this is it! It's been quite fun integrating acoustic instruments into my modular here. A lot of new ideas are flowing right now. Thanks again!
Awe. I really appreciate that. And likewise! In saying that, I've also done what you did and sold a few pieces of gear and actually have a Roland MC707 on the way! I'd been thinking about doing that for a year or two, and then I found a decently priced open box for sale. Should be with me in the next day or two. I love idea of having one box (that isn't a laptop) that, while it might not have a ton of knobs to play with, can pretty much do anything. You've been doing some really cool stuff with yours. Regardless though, I'm looking forward to learning it's ins and outs.
Some FSOL vibes, fantastic!
Thank you very much! That is some high praise! Cheers.
Wow! That sound is huge and impressive! Congrats on the new sound box! It sounds great! I love the violin bow and the eBow sounds!
Thank you so much!

Yay! We finally get to see it in action! Super cool!
