This is excellent. Thanks for sharing how you did this. Here you used a metal box. Have you tried a wooden box? Do you think metal or wood would be the most resonant? Thanks.

They both resonate differently for sure. I'm planning to make a wooden one, I'm slowly collecting springs and other stuff. I will probably also improve the finished one, it still has some space to use. I will share the results.

@@synesthesis Hi. Thanks for replying. Based on your video, I'm going to attempt making one in/on a wood box. I think you are plugging the piezo discs directly into the guitar connection of an interface, correct? There are several YTers that say you need to have a piezo preamp circuit to get good sound. What's your opinion? I haven't been able to find any such preamps that are already built and inexpensive. Do you know of any? Thanks.
