Charles Manson's 1941 Dodge Power Wagon

In the desert ghost town of Ballarat California we find the 1941 Dodge Power Wagon that is rumored to have belonged to Charles Manson and family, who were captured at Barker Ranch on October 12 1969. They were charged with vandalism (arson) on a National Park vehicle. Manson almost got away from capture by hiding in a tiny cabinet under the kitchen sink. The family was later found to have been involved in the Sharon Tate murders. The wooden remains of Barker Ranch burned in 2009. The ranch is currently owned by the National Park service.
