People talk a lot about the vocals and musicians of the bands. I'd like to take this time to point out the AMAZING job that the sound engineer/mixer does for Amaranthe, especially with this song. When the guitar comes into it, you feel it. Literally, you get to feel it dropping. It's just an amazing job, well done. It's very easy to screw up an awesome song like this by not giving weight where it matters.
Audio engineers don't get anywhere near the credit they deserve. A great song can't be a great song without a proper mix, no matter how the song is put together.
Yes, Sweden has got another LEGEND of metal. Sabaton, HammerFall, Arch Enemy, Månegarm, and now Amaranthe - they all form a constellation of powerful bands that each deserve an order for their merits.
Knowing about this band for a few years now, I'm really surprised they're not bigger. They make such great music that can appeal to fans of many genres and being safe for radio is a plus
Don't forget about the overabundance of garbage trap music on the radios as well. With that and pop music on the radio, bands like this will never get big.
I never knew this music video existed, and I absolutely _love_ her expressiveness, especially after only knowing their visual style through the wooden-yet-glorious "Hunger."
From a production standpoint, this video is just phenominal. The song is great but the video is why I keep coming back to watch it 5 years after over and over

Yet another awesome vid and song from Amaranthe. Elize's vocals are top notch as always. Elize is gorgeous, she is a perfect 10. Henrick's harsh vocals are sick. Jake's clean vocals are great. I really hope Amaranthe continues to make music for many years to come, they are awesome!
This song brings to mind three things: 1. True words about real life--all the digitalization and "convenience" it brings, along with said convenience being easily exploited by corrupt people. Also, truths about what humans have lost/forsaken in their desire to "go all digital." 2. "Theme of Digimon" 3. A bit of the intermission text from Speed of Doom's MAP31 - "Let this level be a lesson to you: learn to appreciate nature more, for a world devoured by technology will not be so forgiving."
I saw their show yesterday in downtown fest Japan 2019. I and people around me was dancing, singing, being crazy. For me, seeing their show was first time tho I love this band so much

Normally when I find a new band, I go through their entire library and within 6 months or so I get tired of them But clearly, this is the exception to the rule, as I've gone double and I can't get *enough* of Amaranthe
Need far more bands with multiple singers, the swap between those three is great and shows how well grunting, screaming and classical singing can go along. Thumbs up Amaranthe!

sweds have bad musictaste so this kinds of great music and the band you mentions almost dont exist in the radiostations here.
