Only LED that I've tried so far that didn't work in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee protectors. They worked when I tested, but the vehicle was off. After install was complete and I started the Jeep, they would shut off 20-30 secs later without errors.
Thank you @Carlightreviews for your amazing dedication on your videos! I bought the fahren termitor H4 bulbs for my Hyundai Cantus SUV and they are amazing on the low beams but for the high beams not so much, as they keep the low beam led chips turned on while running the high beams and they seem to split the power. Do you have direct communication with the manufacturer? Could you ask them if there is any way i can make the low and high beams work independently? Thank you! 🙌🏻
I just bought these for my little itty bitty fog lights on my lexus es350. Ive gone through several different leds. But these termitors are ridiculous. Its almost as bright as headlights lol. Thankfully my fog light design is good and theres no light bleed to blind oncoming traffic. But wow i am impressed by these leds. Its insane.
Can't wait for the auxito Y-19 review since I picked those instead of these to give them a try (also the Y-19 where cheaper when got them for around 60$)
Check out the 2023 scourge from Fahren. The throw is way better than anything I’ve tried previously and has the sharpest cutoff also from others I’ve tried.
Hopefully you can help me with a problem I am having with these headlights. By the way, this video is SPOT ON!!! I love the brightness of these headlights. My issue is my high and low bean are the operate at the same lighting level. Fahren has said these lamps a a dual level light and have sent me a replacement set which are doing the same thing. Could it be that this how these light operate meaning the the lights will operate in high or low beam but not at different lighting brightness? I read that some times a decoder is needed for LED conversions trouble issues. If this is true, can you recommend a manufacture and model number that would work for my 2015Ford Flex SEL?
Hello I just got my termitor led lights today will be putting them in tomorrow in my 2002 Ford ranger truck.thank you for your info on them.i will let you know how they work out for me.
I'm concerned about how hard they are driving the LED in these units. Has anyone done any testing to see how long they last? And to make a fair and realistic test, they need to be installed in a reflector, or in a glass jar so the airflow from the fan doesn't reach the LED part. If they are alive after a week/168 hours, do another lux test.
Mine are brighter than any 55watt hid I've ever had. They are so bright that my low beams are brighter than my stock high beams. I've had them in for about six 6months, no issues. I'm ordering my high beams now
i think fahren forschers are good low beam lights for how well they retain light output over time, and the termitors seem like really good high beam lights as you shouldn’t be using the high beams for extended periods of time
I've had the Forscher ones in my 2017 Chevy Cruze which has a projector headlight housing. I upgraded to the Ursprung ones and wasn't so impressed with the brightness between the 2. Do you think it's worth getting the termitor ones and would they be noticeably brighter? Again I have protector headlight housings. Thanks, great video!!
Compare the specs of this light to the specs of the Forscher (ruclips.net/video/aKpKBcXi470/видео.html) by using my headlight test data spreadsheet: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs. That will tell you everything you need to know!
Wow. I've been waiting for this. I have reflector housing and currently run the Krieges. The out put is crazy high. Retained light over time is still almost 600 lux higher then the Krieges. Is 600 lux that much more noticable?
Considering that 600 lux is 2/3's of what the halogen bulb is, I would think that it is a noticeable difference. It all depends on your personal sensitivity to light intensity but on paper, is is significant.
Hi i wanted ti Ask if you can do a H4 led shootout. As h4 bulbs are usually his or miss. A TON of cars use h4 reflectors and i dont see much H4 videos on youtube.
I have had that request a few times. The problem is, I am a one man show, and adding an additional high beam to the low beam doubles the effort and data. I had to make a choice of what I would test in and since H11 is among the most common on the road, I started with that. I am not saying I won't test in H4 in the future, but I don't have it in my plans at this time. I do appreciate the suggestion!
@@CarLightReviews thanks for the aknowledgement. I didnt mean adding h4 to all tests , but maybe testing one video with many h4 bulbs using one housing
@@LosGordosSomoAsi That's a cool idea, and I would very much like to do that. However it comes with some significant expense and effort. I'll see what I can do!
You have to define what is most important in an LED lighting upgrade. Brightness? Value? Quality? Pick two of the three. Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the two categories you chose. That should help!
Great all of your videos! 🙌🏻 I have an issue with these lights on my 2020 Ford F150. The low beam on the right side won’t stay on for more than 3 seconds after starting the vehicle. I have used NOVSIGHTS, NINEO II, etc.. and they were working without any issues. Any help on this matter it’s much appreciated 🙏🏻 (going crazy here). Thanks in advance
Appreciate your videos. What would you suggest for these two housings as far as best bang for the buck and getting light down the road? Acura RSX reflector housing (H1) and Lexus sc300 projector housing (9005).

Unfortunately, I can't suggest a recommendation for specific vehicles as I can't test them all, I am sorry to say. That's why I can offer a baseline reference. However, I do suggest that you review my headlight data spreadsheet here: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and use that data to guide your decision. Sorry I cannot be more specific to your needs!

I got my termitor from amazon. Is there a limit on brightness a reflector can handle? It seems not a lot brighter than my auxito h11. Lol. Using it right now though.
They just came out with Termitor 2023 version with 30000 lumens. May be comparable to Hikari but more affordable. Will you be reviewing that in the future?
How I find that there are two different versions of the fahren Kriegers. I see that one has a wire coming out of it while the other looks like a cube with an outlet?
@@khalidalrawi8717 Tough call, as they are both extremely similar in light output performance. However the Auxbeam has a 2 year warranty where the Termitor has a 1 year warranty. However the Auxbeam is more expensive but it does have better projector output.
I bought these lights H11 for my 2020 Ford F-150 because of the results of the tests. They turn on for a few seconds and shut off. I returned them to Amazon and got replacements. They did the same thing. I contacted the manufacturer, lets see what happens!
@@CarLightReviews yes I used a brand named Auxito. No problems ever. 2 pairs. I like to change them them every year because they are also my daytime running lights. So if the truck is on so are the lights.

@@Gonefishingwithphil Technically, the lights work, your truck just doesn't like them. That's a bummer but I think it might be something with this model (or brand) specifically because you said Auxitos work.

Check out the Denpers 120w. I had it and seems very bright, noticeably brighter than the 2023 Termitor which I’ll be returning. On my application it didn’t work as well due to the hotspot being too low, it washed out the downroad light. So far the Auxito Y13 is the best for my application, Fusion.
@@CarLightReviews awesome! I watched it and was surprised on the output. The pattern is what I expected seeing as how it had a similar pattern on mine. Awesome review!
@@jjohnson6853 I wouldn’t do the 2023 Termitor. I currently run the Bevinsee V45, very nice spread but I’ve been tempted to run the Luxster Punisher based on the video review here. Only thing is they are not Prime eligible on Amazon. I’d say the bevinsee V45 are good all around. My fusion might have different projectors than yours. Since I think it’s harder to get into the housing on your model year I’d just go with the Luxster.
Their website says Krieges: 20000 lumens, 120 watts. The Termitor: 20000 lumens, 120 watts. What is the difference? I've even seen Fahren ones that don't say Forenner or Termitor or Krieges or Scorge, it just says "Led Lighting". What's the difference in all of this?????
It is indeed very confusing, and I am unsure why. They names and titles and specs don't always jive. You have to look closely at the design of the light to see the differences.

@Car Light Reviews, which LED bulbs would you recommend for 55W H7 Bulbs? The ones in the video are 65W, and the don't work on my truck (turn on and back off after a second)
I am just one guy, so I can only test in in one size, which is H11. However, typically the specs are the same across all sizes for each model of bulb, so you can use my suggestions in ruclips.net/video/YMxLhQtwB7I/видео.html as well as the data in my spreadsheet in carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs.
@@CarLightReviews Thank you, just placed an order for Hikari Titanova based on your recommendation , will see how it goes on my 208’s projectors. I fitted Philips ultinon essentials but doesn’t quite cut it for me.
@@CarLightReviews wow wasn’t expecting that results either on the Bevinsee’s… thanks for that review man, it will be really helpful to others as this video was to me.
Hard to say as I haven't tested them. In theory, I think that the full headlight assemblies would typically do better, depending on the design and quality. I only say that because technically, you are using a light that the housing wasn't explicitly designed for. In a sense, hacking your headlights in a basic way. However, the full headlight assemblies can be assumed to be designed to be effective as-is...so again in theory, it would do better. However, it all depends. I had some inexpensive replacement headlights I bought and my initial testing showed they did not do very well at all compared to the factory housings. How more expensive ones do better, from what I understand, but at that point...you are spending hundreds of dollars vs around $100 for LED bulb replacements.
Hi there, I know for a fact that my Diamond Vision P19 H11 will rival the DDM Tuning ACCU/V2 Saber Pro X55, Auxbeam GX Series, and possibly the Aurora or this product on this video.
@@CarLightReviews I also have the Novsight N52 H11 and those Diamond Vision P19s are brighter. There a guy in Florida that told me all about these LEDs and other brands.
Perpendicular to reflector ridges if reflector...which is usually 9 and 3 (left to right). Check the collar tabs of the LED and make sure it is in the same orientation of the halogen it is replacing. There may be cases where they are the same and the LED emitters still do not fire in the correct direction, which is then where an adjustable collar is needed.
I do! In every video I mention the published wattage and the observed wattage from my power supply, and I note the difference in my headlight data chart: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs

I have question for you When I looking online H4 bulb it's way different then this bulb in your hand My 2nd question I'd light output going to be different then ?
Typically, all of the lights that I test are the same in terms of specifications except for the mounting collar (H11 vs H4, etc.). I cannot test every single possible combination of LED light and OEM headlight assembly, so use my research as an initial guide and then verify your own results based on your particular vehicle configuration.
I don't recall, but I usually remove the plastic when I get it as it reflects my shop light into the camera. However, you might be able to look closely at the connector plug and the mounting tabs on the collar for witness marks of an installation.
@@CarLightReviews is it necessary to use a relay/capacitor while switching to LEDs? Do I need a separate CANbus unit for that or should I leave it as it is while upgrading?
Need help please. I just now installed these on my 2019 F150. I added a canbus decoder. I actually got everything to fit in the housing. The only problem is, the fan is right up against the side of the housing, and the dust cover will not go back on. Which millimeter do you prefer that would allow me to still use these? First, don't drive without dust caps (no matter what other people tell you) unless you want to replace your entire housings in the future because there's so much crap inside of them. Second, I wish I could help you but I am not familiar with your vehicle headlight design. I'd post pics on your favorite forum or social media group for your specific vehicle.

You explain things very well salute you my man!! But how do the h4 version of these lights do on a reflector?
I bought this bulb and encourage others to get it. Along with the Hikari that's #1 in projector
Thanks for the reinforcement of my review accuracy! Much appreciated!!
I'm ordering my high beams now
i think fahren forschers are good low beam lights for how well they retain light output over time, and the termitors seem like really good high beam lights as you shouldn’t be using the high beams for extended periods of time
One of mine started flickering
I've had the Forscher ones in my 2017 Chevy Cruze which has a projector headlight housing. I upgraded to the Ursprung ones and wasn't so impressed with the brightness between the 2. Do you think it's worth getting the termitor ones and would they be noticeably brighter? Again I have protector headlight housings. Thanks, great video!!

@@CarLightReviews sweet thank you so much!

Only thing is they are not Prime eligible on Amazon. I’d say the bevinsee V45 are good all around. My fusion might have different projectors than yours. Since I think it’s harder to get into the housing on your model year I’d just go with the Luxster.

How would you rate these drop in LED bulbs as opposed to full headlight assemblies like Morimoto, alpharex, anzo, etc. in an F150?

For the best performance in a reflector house should you line it left right or up down
Perpendicular to reflector ridges if reflector...which is usually 9 and 3 (left to right). Check the collar tabs of the LED and make sure it is in the same orientation of the halogen it is replacing. There may be cases where they are the same and the LED emitters still do not fire in the correct direction, which is then where an adjustable collar is needed.

How is the color compared to x7 Appolo ?
I have question for you
When I looking online H4 bulb it's way different then this bulb in your hand
My 2nd question I'd light output going to be different then ?
Typically, all of the lights that I test are the same in terms of specifications except for the mounting collar (H11 vs H4, etc.). I cannot test every single possible combination of LED light and OEM headlight assembly, so use my research as an initial guide and then verify your own results based on your particular vehicle configuration.
Did the box come wrapped in clear plastic ? Mine didn't so I'm wondering if I got someone's return ?
