Are you aware of any way to manually move the printhead into the Cartridge Exchange position when printer is stuck in permanent error state 5011? Printhead literally will not move from its hiding place on right side of printer. Any help appreciated. Customer can't avail of warranty until they get genuine Canon inks in and they can't do that until they can remove the generic ones. Thanks. John
Hi, The circuits are designed to work in a potentially wet environment, so if they come into contact with water it's OK, just dry them with tissue before reinserting the print head.

Thanks for the video, but it didn't solve our problem. Still the PGBK cartridge is not printing as it should. What to do next?

The electronic contacts on the backside of the printhead should not get in touch with water, right?

I sprayed the electrical connections with isopropyl alcohol before letting it fully dry out. Seems to work ok.
