This was godsend! We really needed to print passeport forms for Tomorrow and that is when the printer decided no self cleaning would do the trick. Thank you! 🙏
Thank you so much. Just done some prints which I need for tomorrow. What a disaster. Followed your instructions - Great prints once again ! Where would we be without youtube and the video creators.
No probs - we used to print so have experience of what situation you were in. Great advice is always get an extra set of cartridges and if budget extends, a replacement print head in case of sunday night 1am printer failure !!! - yes, we've all had it ! thx for feedback. Safe
Thank you so much for this! My printing was really faint and the black wouldn't print at all. With your help, I removed the print head from my Canon TS8250 and gave it a good wash. Now it prints perfectly! You are a star!
Ok great video We have a issue with the carriage as the connector pins for the C cartridge have pushed down and now obviously show cartridge empty How can I remove the Carriage to see what locks the pins in the up position and to replace the carriage as a worst case scenario
We recommend leaving it to air dry for a couple of hours before putting back into your printer, but if you need to print right away you can just use a clean paper towel or lint free cloth to dry it, just make sure you run a few test prints first to flush out any remaining water from the heads!

We do not recommend any cleaning solutions other than water. After removal and washing per this video, ensure you perform 3 or 4 nozzle deep cleans per the Canon printer utility and this should remove any fine blockages. You should notice the nozzle check pattern improving with each clean cycle.
Yes - lots of ink - seems endless but I always advise washing with hot water, as hot as you can stand from a tap and 3-4 minutes , keep rotating the water jet in from the top then from the underneath area. Really important is to do a nozzle clean within the printer utility 2 or 3 times. Sometime you will note the first pattern check is a little off, then it improves. If the clean does not fix , then 95% sure it requires a replacement print head (which we sell quite a few of) - A common sign is that blue tends to be the first colour to fail in print heads (Canon ix6850) in particular - not sure why. Cheers for feedback . Safe

OMG, you helped a lot. What should I use now to clean it? It prints with some lines and it's very annoying for my clients

@@edibleprintsupplies So, I shouldn't be afraid of washing it with water? You know, I don't want to break the printer, it's not mine
@@edibleprintsupplies also, I'm kinda worried because we use sweet ink, not normal ink
Any ideas how to clean the ink absorbers?
I have been getting the red error code which i believe is about something blocking but i will try this also. Ill update you. Thanks great video
Thank you very much
Many thanks for this!
NO problem - glad it has helped.
Only the print head can be washed per the video, and not the printer unit itself.
I couldn’t stop laughing at this 🤣 ( you really have to tell someone this?)
I have a TS5055. Is it EXACTLY the same to remove the print head for cleaning? Thanks.
Thx - good to know it's the same . Hope others red this comment too.
Update well so far all good I can print again and no error code. The heads were full of ink? Is that normal? Thanks mate great Video.

No probs - glad it helped !
I wonder, would a gentle swilling about in a VERY shallow bath of isopropyl alcohol, be effective ?
We only advise hot water, and based on customer success we are sticking with this advice only. Thank you
grazie grazie tante- thank thank very much
Its OK - you are welcome :) !
