  • See how you can just use a lathe and a bench drill to make a quality heavy duty rear part-off tool holder, for your Myford lathe. I show various tool set-ups and machining ops to make a complete double T-Bolt tool holder. I designed and made this tool so that the cross-slide T-Slot would not get damaged in the event of a tool breakage

    Great way to center the block in the 4 jaw, provided the punch mark really is at the center.

    That's a great upgrade Steve. I was lucky to find a genuine Myford rear tool post which has three fixing points and it does make all the difference to stability. Well done Cheers Nobby

    Here is a tool tip for you if you put some self sticking 180 grit to the back of your rule or straight edge it will help much when trying to scribe a line :)
