Scotch Eggs!! (Easy Easy)

- Hey guys, today we're making scotch eggs! They are so easy and so delicious, I know you'll love them as much as I do.
Ingredients
4-6 eggs hard or soft boiled
1 pound of sausage, your favorite will do
1 egg for egg wash
1/2-1 cup panko, depending on size of eggs, and if you double bread
2 tablespoons flour
oil for frying
Boil your eggs as you normally would. I used large eggs, and boiled them for 6 mins. I fill the pan with water, then place the eggs inside, bring to a boil, then start counting the 6 mins. Remove from the water after time is up, then place in an ice bath until they cool down. I also like to slightly crack them before I place in the ice bath. An ice bath is just ice water. If you don't like a soft boiled egg, then you would use the same process above, you would just cook the eggs for 9 mins. That should give you a hard boiled egg that isn't green.
Now you will roll the eggs in flour, then you will take a portion of sausage and flatten it out into a patty shape, then wrap the egg in the sausage. Next roll the egg in the egg wash, then into the panko or bread crumbs of your choice.
Fry in 350 degree oil, either shallow fry in a few inch's of oil, or deep fry, you can also bake these. Depending on the size of your eggs, and how thinly you shape your sausage, you'll be able to get 4-6 eggs with this recipe. Let rest for at least 5 mins before eating. :)

Resa what a fantastic and delicious recipe what I love about this it’s not only the presentation fabulous as you cut in to the sausage and egg the yolk spills out super delicious. That soft boiled egg wrapped in sausage and you have that nice crunch from the Panko and as you demonstrated egg wash is not needed what an easy and super delicious recipe

I too make these but we called them "eggballs" and instead of ground meat we use mashed cassava aka yucca or mashed potatoes to coat the eggs with then fry them. It's so good.
