    I love the ground clamp sitting on plate lol I had to do the same thing for my latest stand I built. Decided to Tig weld newest, all others have been stick and after doing it tig is way to go. Way less pulling to fight with and almost no warpaing of top or bottom plates. Ones in stick warped a bit and it was using half in plate. But ur stand looks great brother 👍💪

      I mean, sometimes in rare cases when you can't get a good clamping spot, I might even tack weld the clamp to the part. Bad practice I guess... Should just get a magnetic ground clamp. Thanks for watching, and providing an entertaining comment.

    I have made a padestal stand for my 8 in bench grinder. It weighs about 37 lbs. The problem is that when I switch off the grinder and it is slowing down the grinder with the padestal resonate and vibrate at 2 rotational speeds. Can u suggest a fix for this problem. I can share pics of my grinder padestal if possible.

    good vid. i just made one using a steel wheel rim for the base but im going to copy your struts for the grinder plate.

    looks good. I make stands my self if u wanna check my channel u can. mine is also stick welded and I use a speeglas hood as well
