I am from Pensacola and we are very proud of our Blues! Glad you got to experience that! The airshow is actually today and tomorrow and we are expecting an additional 150-75k people in our small city for it.

Being in the top percentile and spending years in combat training, is what prepared them for Japan's greatest export, Tom 'Siren of the Sky' Segura.
My step dad was a crew chief with them in the late 80s. When he got promoted, they took him on a high speed vertical take off. He said after he woke up, it was a fun flight
Amazing to see the angels help out a decoration war vet with PTSD. Poor guy left some brothers behind. These guys made his day.

I was an Navy aviation electricians mate for 6 years working on F-14s. Everyone I worked with from my squadrons to the crews on the flight deck to the pilots were all normal guys doing an absolutely professional job at the peak of their game. That experience gave me the tools I needed to be successful in my post military life. I love my country, no matter the flaws it may have.
I'm a consulting engineer and have done a few projects on various bases in GA, and I'm always impressed by the professionalism of everyone at those bases I've interacted with - they rule, all of them.
My pops was a Tomcat..he’s an absolute character but apparently a hell of a pilot because he got to go to USNFWS in Miramar, also known as Topgun
I grew up watching them when they flew around San Francisco, really warms my heart to still see them going all these years later.
Specialist Segura, my family and I, have served our Country's military. I myself am a retired US Army light Infantry (ABN) senior NCO.
Your heroism and service to our country is greatly appreciated and I am in awe of your combat skills.

Hey Tom, I'm a born and raised Pensacolian. LoL. It's awesome driving for work and seeing then practice over Pensacola all the time. Glad you got to visit my home.
As a OEF veteran I remember my first year back and I was able to spend time with friends in ElCentro,California. It's the home of the Blues in the winter time and every morning u could look up at 10am and see them work out. The first time seeing them that up close and personal really hit me. My best friend best friend walked out in his back yard and handed me a beer with a smile and a hug hug when he seen me smiling crying. I think during these trying times we all need to love one another a little more.

I just saw the blue angels in Grand Junction, CO. Talk about a fantastic show.
These guys were taught how to fly by Sgt. Segura. Not many pilots are taught by such an experienced fighter.

What a lucky DOG!!! Congrats man!! When I was a teen I had family in the navy. I coulda went up but my mom wasn’t there to sign the paperwork. So I got to get into an F18 two seater like your self, taxi up the runway, and go hard like we were taking off, but we didn’t. Was a hell of an experience. But has always left me wanting more.
