    Wow, this really is quite something special for those pilots. I can only imagine how grateful they were to have just existed in your presence. It must have been difficult for them to understand that you normally fly on big planes.

    Been an aviation fanatic since a kid going to air shows. Blue Angels are my childhood. So iconic. Nothing like seeing them roar through the sky. Congrats on an epic moment Tom

    I am from Pensacola and we are very proud of our Blues! Glad you got to experience that! The airshow is actually today and tomorrow and we are expecting an additional 150-75k people in our small city for it.

    My step dad was a crew chief with them in the late 80s. When he got promoted, they took him on a high speed vertical take off. He said after he woke up, it was a fun flight

    I was an Navy aviation electricians mate for 6 years working on F-14s. Everyone I worked with from my squadrons to the crews on the flight deck to the pilots were all normal guys doing an absolutely professional job at the peak of their game. That experience gave me the tools I needed to be successful in my post military life. I love my country, no matter the flaws it may have.

      I'm a consulting engineer and have done a few projects on various bases in GA, and I'm always impressed by the professionalism of everyone at those bases I've interacted with - they rule, all of them.

    As a OEF veteran I remember my first year back and I was able to spend time with friends in ElCentro,California. It's the home of the Blues in the winter time and every morning u could look up at 10am and see them work out. The first time seeing them that up close and personal really hit me. My best friend best friend walked out in his back yard and handed me a beer with a smile and a hug hug when he seen me smiling crying. I think during these trying times we all need to love one another a little more.

    It’s just crazy how fast someone’s image can change to me. A few weeks ago I didn’t think anything bad about Tom and thought he was super down to earth and funny. Now everything he says comes off different than what I thought and I keep cringing.

    What a lucky DOG!!! Congrats man!! When I was a teen I had family in the navy. I coulda went up but my mom wasn’t there to sign the paperwork. So I got to get into an F18 two seater like your self, taxi up the runway, and go hard like we were taking off, but we didn’t. Was a hell of an experience. But has always left me wanting more.
