Hey, it’s me, the creator. I wanna admit. I’m not happy on the series looking back at it. I do admit it is kinda cringe. Some people expect me to be mad about this but in reality I’m not. Although I worked really hard on the series I ultimately feel like I wasted my time.

The Gordon parts probably hit me the most, as I hated how: 1. Gordon had very right to panic, he was jump scared by what he thought was a red furry beast. Of course Gordon is gonna blast steam at her, it was his defence mechanism activated out of shock and panic, he’s never met Mei before, let alone a giant red panda that has the look Mei has. By Gordon’s reaction it was clear he never met giant furry creature, let alone Mei in her red panda form. They are literally strangers when they first met and when Thomas and her pull that stunt on her. What was he suppose to do? Not be freaked out by a giant beast from his point of view? God and that fact Topham never speaks to Thomas and Mei about it, really tells me how this film makes it comes off as “Who cares if Thomas and Mei scared Gordon, they are free from consequences.” 2. When Thomas was threatening Gordon, only for him not to face any consequences and for Gordon, we only saw him getting his punishment, we never see Thomas get his punishment for oh idk? Threatening him and blackmailing him?! It doesn’t matter what Gordon said, creator needs Thomas to understand “two wrongs don’t make a right.” I honestly headcanon the reason why he’s shunting was because Topham put him there as a result of threatening scrap upon another engine. 3. Gordon would never say shit about Thomas’ siblings, he has enough respect to not bring anyone’s family into this. It seems it was written in there to either A. Have people hate him more. B. Just so Gordon can be more of a bad guy than he truely he is. (In fact to me turning red Gordon is barely even Gordon. 4. Gordon would never act as such because of his brothers deaths, it clear after Scots visit, he got over the loss of brothers because he still has family and also is on an island where not only he’s lucky, he’s looked after no matter what, he loved no matter what, and he’s safe from whatever the other railway (or even one of the big four) would’ve done to him had he didn’t come to Sodor.
Speaking of thomas crossovers im the only thinks that tugs and thomas crossover i mean i don't hate some of them if its done right if someone has tugs set in the 30s consider lightship and the firetug where built in that year but i hate most of the thomas and tugs crossovers if they recton real life in a bad way so they can put lightship and the firetug as prototypes of their class if most people has tugs set in the 1920s in their au And as you said you don't respect and handle people's headcanons that recton real life in a bad way so they can justifcy a fictional thing

You know, as bizarre as crossovers with T&F is there are some crossovers that are actually good. Like George Garza's Colided Worlds, Sonic the steam engine, T&F the model series that crossovers with the Pokémon and Steven universe characters, Daniel Alsops T&F series that crossovers with the Cars characters, and let's not forget the Railways of Crotoonia.
Things like this make me want to never cross Thomas over with anything, especially anything involving talking animals that have a blatant disregard for Railway Safety. The only recent good crossover I've encountered was Bigg City Thomas by Keifer Adams. That one is a fine example of how to do a Thomas Crossover right.

In fact Red Panda Express has inspired me so much that it makes me want to continue work on my crossover series of TTTE with The Owl House called "Steam Engines & Witches" It is gonna involve Luz and The Hexsquad meeting and interacting with Thomas and his friends on the Island of Sodor as they come from the Boiling Isles via a magic railway that makes my crossover series not only have elements from Magic Railroad, but also a few elements from the cancelled WWII movie "The Adventures of Thomas". Yes I know Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus and even Eda and King disregarding railway safety, but the point is that it railway safety doesn't matter in my crossover series, it's what the stories matter. and I want show a bit of scenes of Luz and Amity having they're own time of adventures together on Sodor with the Engines. and thinking about living on the Island for as much as they like to.
The red Panda Express is pretty bad but somehow not the worst Thomas fan project I’ve seen, ones that come to mind are Thomas’s heartbreak, Bosher254’s Alfred trilogy, and Thomas and the preggy club
I can imagine Reverend Wilbert Awdry now as a living 2d animated skeleton with Black eyes with White Pupils but he still had his white hair and he is wearing his reverend outfit on a computer seeing this "movie" and finds it cringe and decides to make his own crossover of Thomas and Friends but this time with Tugs.

this type of film or series really didn't age so well since it had so many flaws like the TR (turning red) film. I would honestly prefer watching Hilda and the Sudrian engines by Angel pirela productions, since both shows of T&F and Hilda do have a few things in common and even nice references too unlike turning red.
In my opinion, I like Red Panda Express as much as Hilda and the Sudrian Engines (and also Collided Worlds) But in the video you say that Gordon in Red Panda Express was an idiot, and in my opinion, he was actually a bit of an idiot, but in Hilda and the Sudrian Engines, more specifically in Chapter 4, Man... The Gordon from this series in this episode makes the Gordon from Red Panda Express look like an ANGEL. And I'm not complaining, I just find it funny how Gordon in Hilda and the Sudrian Engines looks WAY over the top.

Gordon isn't meant to be/act like an ass towards Hilda, her mother or his friends and almost trying to "kill her" instantly or blowing steam towards her (like in RPE) just because, but it's because he doesn't like the idea of Hilda running around the wilderness by her own with no supervision of her mother (which is actually a thing in the og show). Like, you don't even know what's gonna happen to her once she's out in the real world. Maybe she could be trapped or kidnapped by someone, fall off a cliff, being attacked by an animal, getting lost, anything! We'll eventually plan to go back and redo chapter 2 (and chapter 1) to be a bit more summarised and comprehensable than the (now) old version, but for now that's all you need to know. @ I’m sure they are better. The Turning Red crossover is kind of odd, but pretty mid all things considered. For one thing, it’s ultimately pretty harmless, unlike Preggy Club which is stroke inducing.
Well personally. I think Red Panda Express is a pretty good crossover movie. I know people say "Oh! Mei and her family and Friends shouldn't go on railway property! Oh no! Thomas is in the wrong! Oh why would Gordon be so damn cruel!!" But look. the point i'm saying is that some people can like this crossover movie all because they have different taste. I am remastering one of my friends crossovers that got cancelled. Yeah it has oc's and other random crossovers. But it dose have a storyline unlike 90% of crossovers
The only way I see a Thomas crossover working is if: A.the characters of Thomas and his friends were mashed up with the characters from that specific franchise(ie trainsformers or the official dc collab) Or B the collab should be with other fictional trains(for example ivor the engine or the polar express) I don’t really see how anyone was wanting for this to happen,seems so easily that this was made because it was the newest Pixar movie at the time

Im going to be real here, I dont directly hate the season, but the problem is that Gordon basically gets no respect throughout the entire season. Let be real, It was basic self defense. I wouldve done the same thing if a random red panda just poofed out of nowhere scaring the hell out of me. I mean, whats wrong by just using self defense eh? Also at the party, why does Sir Topham Hatt let Thomas go, but not Gordon? I get the rage between the two, but shouldn't Thomas recieve punishment as well. Thomas did attack Gordon, and his crew can potentially been hurt if they were inside of Gordons cab. Seens like STH cares more about being biased, rather than having a look out for his crew and employees health.
Like I said in the description, this video was extremely rushed at the end. I worked on this video for a week and screen recording the movie and having go through watching it hell. I was gonna bring up Thomas and how he should’ve received karma, but I just wanted to get it over with towards the end.
Oh, and btw just that you know, I believe the reason why the season kept switching between 2d to 3d, was (possibly) because the animation (2d) was made first, then the rest were made in 3d. You can check the upload dates ig. But with having some parts being released first then the rest of the lore, the story was hard to follow a lot of times considering the first time I've seen Red Panda Express was when Thomas jumped on Gordon for no reason at the time.

I did see this, thought it was ok, not good but not bad. I did not like Gordon's character in the movie (I know there is supposed to be a "problem and solution" in a movie but I think it ruined Gordon's image. I bet he actually would like Mei). I also thought when Thomas blew up at Gordon, I thought that was off character too. Yes, I can see the criticisms with with it (and some logic might have thrown out the window with characters-I was wondering if Mei's friends' parents knew where they were in the movie, would they mention why they were not there and were they ok with them staying with Mei for the summer? And I'm confused of the ending, it felt rushed and did not solve the problem). I notice the art switched over in some scenes and it's meh (might have looked traced), but I did like the last picture. I have it saved on my phone as a screenshot-I thought it was sweet. It did make me anxious in some of the stress scenes (I did not like the nightmare segment at ALL-that scared me so much I had to skip it, I can still kind of see it. Imagine your a kid on RUclips and saw that, might scar you for a while) When this crossover at the surface sounds like a great idea, in depth it is confusing, out of place, and not a great idea. Those are my critics (and maybe my bias with it, sorry if long) I hope you understand I give it 4.5/10 but A for effort
George Garza's videos are satisfying for me with the greenscreen MLP edits. 😊 Daniel Alsop has crossed over Thomas and Cars which is owned by Disney and Pixar and I've been watching his channel for 8 or 9 years. The one positive I would say about Thomas and Turning Red is this triple O face cue that played 3 or 4 times. 😂🤣 Did get kinda confused that this was taking place in 2002 to which im assuming it's around S6 or 8. Timelines in Thomas RUclips content whether they're cannon to the show or not tend to confuse me. :/ Only 2 scenes have been animated while most of the time it's been filmed in Sodor Online. To me I see Thomas and Gordon as best frenemies.

You should've put the NO HATE disclaimer at the very start of the video AND at the top of the description to get it out more clearly. I knew this from the start, but I don't think this is enough
Let me say something: I think the problem with the movie is how Gordon was written. That’s the biggest issue for me. A crossover can work if done right. Like, you need to write a good story that fits the characters well. You also should not use clips from other shows because that doesn’t the crossover feel like a real story visually. It may take a lot of work, but the end result will be worth it if you put a lot of effort.
@ I think one major flaw of crossovers is the logic. Like, how do these characters from different universes fit in? But I think that won’t really matter just as long as the story is enjoyable. You can nitpick, but as long as the story is enjoyable, it doesn’t matter.

The Plot already makes so sense, and the voices for the characters are absolutely ridiculous. That's even worse than my James voice that not many people like. In all my years in Majoring Entertainment Technology, this was something that I don't even want to TRY no ENTERTAIN the motion of even ATTEMPTING to watch this. I only watched a 2 minute video of an "Animation" test, and not only does the story already suck, but I saw not a DIME of animation in that thing. That's already giving me many Red Flags here. And WHY USE THE OLD SODOR ONLINE?! That still looks like BURNT bologna. I'm gonna say it... This is WAY WORSE than Thomas's Heartbreak. Remember that? At least that had Pauls vids as Gordon. this type of film or series really didn't age so well since it had so many flaws like the TR (turning red) film.
I would honestly prefer watching Hilda and the Sudrian engines by Angel pirela productions, since both shows of T&F and Hilda do have a few things in common and even nice references too unlike turning red.
In my opinion, I like Red Panda Express as much as Hilda and the Sudrian Engines (and also Collided Worlds)
But in the video you say that Gordon in Red Panda Express was an idiot, and in my opinion, he was actually a bit of an idiot, but in Hilda and the Sudrian Engines, more specifically in Chapter 4, Man... The Gordon from this series in this episode makes the Gordon from Red Panda Express look like an ANGEL.
And I'm not complaining, I just find it funny how Gordon in Hilda and the Sudrian Engines looks WAY over the top.

Gordon isn't meant to be/act like an ass towards Hilda, her mother or his friends and almost trying to "kill her" instantly or blowing steam towards her (like in RPE) just because, but it's because he doesn't like the idea of Hilda running around the wilderness by her own with no supervision of her mother (which is actually a thing in the og show). Like, you don't even know what's gonna happen to her once she's out in the real world. Maybe she could be trapped or kidnapped by someone, fall off a cliff, being attacked by an animal, getting lost, anything!
We'll eventually plan to go back and redo chapter 2 (and chapter 1) to be a bit more summarised and comprehensable than the (now) old version, but for now that's all you need to know.
Sorry if I sounded a bit defensive, I just wanted to clear that out to not cause any confusion haha

Well personally. I think Red Panda Express is a pretty good crossover movie.

The only way I see a Thomas crossover working is if:
A.the characters of Thomas and his friends were mashed up with the characters from that specific franchise(ie trainsformers or the official dc collab)
Or B the collab should be with other fictional trains(for example ivor the engine or the polar express)

Im going to be real here, I dont directly hate the season, but the problem is that Gordon basically gets no respect throughout the entire season. Let be real, It was basic self defense. Also at the party, why does Sir Topham Hatt let Thomas go, but not Gordon? I get the rage between the two, but shouldn't Thomas recieve punishment as well. Thomas did attack Gordon, and his crew can potentially been hurt if they were inside of Gordons cab. Seens like STH cares more about being biased, rather than having a look out for his crew and employees health.
Like I said in the description, this video was extremely rushed at the end. I worked on this video for a week and screen recording the movie and having go through watching it hell. I was gonna bring up Thomas and how he should’ve received karma, but I just wanted to get it over with towards the end.

But with having some parts being released first then the rest of the lore, the story was hard to follow a lot of times considering the first time I've seen Red Panda Express was when Thomas jumped on Gordon for no reason at the time.

I did see this, thought it was ok, not good but not bad. I did not like Gordon's character in the movie (I know there is supposed to be a "problem and solution" in a movie but I think it ruined Gordon's image. I bet he actually would like Mei). I also thought when Thomas blew up at Gordon, I thought that was off character too. Yes, I can see the criticisms with with it (and some logic might have thrown out the window with characters-I was wondering if Mei's friends' parents knew where they were in the movie, would they mention why they were not there and were they ok with them staying with Mei for the summer? And I'm confused of the ending, it felt rushed and did not solve the problem). I notice the art switched over in some scenes and it's meh (might have looked traced), but I did like the last picture. I have it saved on my phone as a screenshot-I thought it was sweet. It did make me anxious in some of the stress scenes (I did not like the nightmare segment at ALL-that scared me so much I had to skip it, I can still kind of see it. Imagine your a kid on RUclips and saw that, might scar you for a while)
When this crossover at the surface sounds like a great idea, in depth it is confusing, out of place, and not a great idea.

Let me say something: I think the problem with the movie is how Gordon was written. That’s the biggest issue for me. A crossover can work if done right. Like, you need to write a good story that fits the characters well. You also should not use clips from other shows because that doesn’t the crossover feel like a real story visually. It may take a lot of work, but the end result will be worth it if you put a lot of effort.
The second problem is that Turning Red doesn’t work next to Thomas, like, at ALL
@ I think one major flaw of crossovers is the logic. Like, how do these characters from different universes fit in? But I think that won’t really matter just as long as the story is enjoyable. You can nitpick, but as long as the story is enjoyable, it doesn’t matter.

[edit] you were right. I only saw the animation test, and it was straight ASS. The Plot already makes so sense, and the voices for the characters are absolutely ridiculous. I only watched a 2 minute video of an "Animation" test, and not only does the story already suck, but I saw not a DIME of animation in that thing. That's already giving me many Red Flags here. And WHY USE THE OLD SODOR ONLINE?! That still looks like BURNT bologna. I'm gonna say it... This is WAY WORSE than Thomas's Heartbreak. Remember that? At least that had Pauls vids as Gordon.
