This is the funniest summary of railway history ever.
And not only that, the quantity of information is massive for a 20-ish minutes video!
I think this is a great video to show people who are not into trains but would like to understand why trains exist.
Another FANTASTIC video as always!!!
5:20 Hey my great (x5) uncle, Henry P. Haney, was the fireman on the confederate locomotive, The Texas. Also, both (main) locos from the chase are preserved in Georgia. I've seen both, and they are in IMMACULATE condition!
8:14 "You feel better."
This is amazingly well done! So many great images and clips made it impossible to watch without stopping and rewinding to look carefully at what I just saw. Thanks!
Trains in 1700 - trains in 2024
I'm glad you didn't try to mimic every last Bill thing and gave it your own flavor! A great video!
What if the real locomotive was the friends that we made along the way?
Love the streaks of fun and laughter threading thru a “ history” lesson of our good old’ railway
Yay this guy posts again
I always love these railroad timeline videos and this is actually the most entertaining one, ngl. It’s really amazing how railroads around the world have changed overtime. I also want to mention to you that there is an upcoming celebration event to celebrate 200 years of the world’s first railway in the U.K. next year 2025.
The B&O Railroad Museum is also preparing the 200th anniversary of the B&O event to take place in 2027.
Oh no, bro is jumping on this thing..
I love the commitment to the styling of the original, while also referencing the inspiration
12:26 I didn't knew your channel before but it was SO obvious that you can't make such a video WITHOUT this *very* historically important series.
Who WOULDN'T? 😂👏
I love it!
15:04 now I’m imagining surgery of a train
hey man this video goes hard, big train guy here. hope you produce more, I'll be waiting with great excitement
18:26 *I see what you did there.*
Perry the Platypus!?
4:50 no way it’s sir topham hatt
5:45 I know this picture so well because one of my great-grandfathers are in it (Man to the right of the funnel on the left engine).
Despite there’s a lot of Diesels. We still have Steam locomotives being preserved.
Wow, you DID manage to cram everything in! Plus points for remembering that US is not the only country on the planet!
"Here take this you freaking nerd" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The letter from Britain to Australia being upside down is pure comedy.
9:31 I SEE WHAT YA DID THERE
Coughs and sneezels spread diseaseles
as a guy who works at a railway, very accurate good job.
Just annoyed how you missed ESE 999 hitting 112mph in 1893
