When ever I see Turkish delight it always reminds me of that scene on the Chronicles of Narnia
So thats the turkish delight that the witch tempted the kid with.
Me too 😄🥰
I’ve ordered a few deluxe versions of Turkish Delight directly from Turkey after having a few perfumes that smell like it. I was in love with the scent. Keiko Mecheri has a lovely one called Loukhoum. Ava Luxe has one of the same name. They are utterly gorgeous. I think I tried one by Serge Lutens as well, that started with Rahat. So so delectable. I had to try the sweet these were based on. I’ve grown quite fond of them, even the ones with rose petals on or inside them. They are very different to anything else in my opinion. My husband will only eat the nut ones, nothing floral. For anyone wanting a recipe for these, RUclips is full of recipes on it. It takes quite a bit of time and stirring-fair warning for those limited on time or patience.
My son has been to Turkey on holiday three times and each time he has bought back a box of Turkish Delight but they are not the soft pink ones that we have in the UK, they are quite and chewy like a soft toffee, they are absolutely lovely, if I knew how to make that type I would always have a supply of them.
hiii paul just wanna tell you im huge fan of the british baking show...mexican episode was the bomb you are for sure one of us...lol...but my favorite part of that show is when you shakes someones hand i wanna cry it gives me a warm happy feeling...your wonderful nice work...many blessings

A friend once gave me a pale green mint flavoured Turkish Delight from Turkey that was absolutely delicious. It was my favorite flavour ever of that lovely sweet treat. I've never seen it made anywhere and have never had it since. Sad that. 🤥.
The family tradition is to make Italian fig cookies for the holidays as gifts. This year, I think we may need to go with Turkish Delight instead.
Thank you so very much. I will certainly be giving this a try 🙋♀️🇨🇦
Looove Turkish delight but not enough to make it. I’ll order it from Amazon! 😅
We just got back from Turkey and bought the most amazing almond Turkish Delight. Would love to have the recipe for an almond one if anyone has a recipe to share
I love them but not eat to much you got blood high drink lots water after you eat
Ah I was hoping for a recipe. This has been on muy to-do list for the longest time never having the guts to try it
Emmymade provided a recipie & sort of a tutorial in her recent video on trying it (maybe a few weeks ago). Try a RUclips search. Rules prevent me including a link here.
What's the point of having this vid without providing a recipe.

Looks delicious.
You can't have a "how to make" with no recipe! Very Disappointed
I totally agree 😥
@wanitagons4269 I think she is upset, because it says HOW TO MAKE
Absolutely agree with it, wasted time 😮
@@wanitagons4269actually they make ad revenue.. Meaning this is not uploaded for free. it’s clickbait
Totally agree. Aggravating when I'm looking for an expert recipe.
A British twist! Inspired to make this delicacy that was a favourite of my paternal grandmother for the children as an energy sweet after a swim & surf lesson at Glencairn beach. My old kitchen bible The Complete Middle East Cookbook by Tess Mallos has a recipe.
I have always wonder how this is made and what it is. Nice to see this and now want to try some
Ohhh yummy my Love! 😋
Love you more!!

Paul tasted the Turkish, which he liked so much that he licked his fingers, and I would have done the same, I salivated when I saw how he was pleading so naturally.

"How to make the best Turkish delight"
Step 1 -- Roll Paul in powdered sugar and lick it off.
Step 2 -- Repeat Step 1 as needed.
could you please give us the full recipe

Recipe please
Where's the rose syrup!!
The only Turkish delight that I like was Lings, unfortunately you can't get it now. When I was in Turkey I tried it but didn't like it
No information. Just make this up. Just make that up. HOW???
3:29 That isn't lemon verbena. It looks a little like safflower or saffron pistils.
Wheres the recipe? I cant guess at measurements!
Cornstarch!
it is actually 'how is' not 'how to'
Where IS the recipe? Quite disappointng!
Uf, yea, yea yea , the lady is...Paul , it is only your fault !

Let's be honost locum ie Turkish delight was invented by the rurks not Cyprus
Lol turkish delight is turkish not Cyprus lol but hey hum
Click bait, no recipe.
No written recipe. Went to your website. No recipe! Won't be going back there & blocking you here. You claim on website you're the best baker in the world, I KNOW you're lying, lol, and so do you. Just like the rest of us, you take from others & pass it on. Edit: talking recipe starts at 3:20 after chitchat. It's for lemon verbena TD, which I've never heard of, lol. Could've saved a boatload of time if it was in the title! Will teach me not to look on Paul's channel!
Woah… calm down lol. You realise this was a an old show uploaded to the channel. Plus, I don’t think Paul owes you or anyone anything. This is a woman’s small business and a recipe from her family, and Turkish delight has just a few ingredients anyways. Plus I don’t think he’ll notice you “blocked” his channel 😂 good luck tho
Too much talking and poor action, very boring 👎👎👎
WTF there was no recipe, no ingredients, what a plonker Paul is!, besides that if it's not Fry's Turkish Delight covered in chocolate it's crap!

Did he really say Turkish rose water?
Hilarious. It's like saying the potato is English. So which is coffee? Cypriot, Greek, Turkish, Armenia, Jordanian?
Better to say Rose water from Middle East . How are they Turkish delights when they were made all over middle east.I won't say anymore.
well done but i hate Turkish Delight

No recipie? Disappointed …😒
Cornflour, sugar, add flavour, icing powder, that’s all you need and some water for the pan with sugar
cool but jesus christ is she bad at cutting, so inefficient, at 6:50 could easily cut up 8 or 10 at same time, but she does 1 by 1 lmao
