This movie is not obtainable anymore and hasn't been in over a decade, I wanted to preserve it on the internet so it isn't lost forever.
I watched this a couple times as a kid (maybe checked out from the library) and it wasn't until now that I can prove it's real. Thanks for uploading

Holy shit. This movie lived in a deep root in my childhood memory. Randomly I'd think of scenes from this movie but i always thought i was just imagining old movie commercials

It’s likely because the studio wanted to get out of paying the kids now adults their royalties. And if they stream them they’re obligated to.
The same goes for moving Allen and Mister Frost. They redubbed them to get out of paying the actors. And released it anywhere but the US. No streaming and a non existent release. If at all.

I used to watch this as a kid over and over and over, I loved it. I didn't think to look it up until now, and honestly the production value is much better than I thought it was going to be 😂
What was the name of that monster trying to eat them? Is it really prehistoric or just made up?
It's a leviathan (Almost like the huge lobster-like monster in Disney's "Atlantis"). Can't really spell out the name of the creature Professor Arronax said it was.

I remember watching this one Saturday morning not long after watching the 1997 version 20000 Leagues under the sea movie on tv and thinking wow these two looked alot a like. Someone had a good idea film it for adults then reuse footage and do a kids version too.
