the t-display is the actual miner? i've watched a couple vids on it and couldn't quite get it lol. probably my deficit but i think if it is the miner if they'd put that on the amazon listing it would help. i thought display was just the little screen...
Again, I am referring to your video today since I’m quite lost when it comes to technology. I wonder if there is a miner that is plug-and-play. That is, you can buy it, set it up to your Wi-Fi and your bitcoin, address and mine away. This lottery minor is still complex to set up.
Bitmaker just supplies the files or insight but you can order the Device as one off Amazon. I believe I have it linked in description but for USA. However u can click link and find it for your country. Only thing you will need is a type c cable that can connect to you computer
What if it stays black screen after programming? I got a ttgo esp32 with the 1.14” display. Not sure if that’s my issue. I already ordered lilygo esp32s3 with the 1.9”. Any feedback would be appreciated.
For the nerdminers, I would like there to be a shared pool just for nerdminers or just for miners with a low hashrate so that everyone gets some of the rewards. This makes mining easy for everyone at home and everyone has access to some almost free sats. It would solve a little bit the problem of getting Bitcoin, where people with a lot of fiat money can buy a lot of Bitcoin and people who have no money left at all can't get a Bitcoin.
i dont wanna type the bitcoin address on my phone screen but paste it on my computer screen, when i connect my computer via wifi with the miner, do i have to visit a certain ip address to get the setup screen please?
We the Tdisplay has the chip, u just need the esp-32, so get it and add or connect your own display or nothing at all as long as your program it. Bitmaker, Sk0t has a lot of cool mini miners out
Thank you. Got it all set up, but now it just goes to hash screen runs for a few seconds, goes blank, and then returns to the hashscreen....infinite loopy
No I did not. But I have done a lot to my router. For FlUX nodes, etc. What is yours doing, so you got it connected to wifi? But what pool you on? It could be the pool url, address and or something else. Try refreshing it with esp tool, and go through the setup again. But note you won't see the hashrate at the pool, because it is such a small amount. As long as you see the hashrate on the device your good.
There is a button on the miner that turns display on and off. Make sure you didn't hit that, the two buttons on the front facing you, but on one side. I had to refresh my device a couple times, so if first one failed, try again
Thank you very much for joining this project! Good luck!
Wow! Fantastic video! Exactly what I was looking for!
I just ordered one immmmm pumped, I got a sweet Duino rig so why not
Thanks for the vidéo! Is configuration working with a Macbook?

Excellent video! Thank you for making it. Just got my nerd miner2 in the mail today.

Love the shirt XD & the idea of this project
Can this little thing pool mine or is it strictly a solo lottery miner?
Nerd Miner V2 gives 50MH/s and total hashrate on BTC is 409.000.000.000.000.000MH/s.. Go figure lol
Could i use a small 5" lcd screen i have laying around that i used for one of my raspberry pi 3b+'s?
Exactly what I needed, thanks.
What you buy from Bitwater is plug and play, right? Comes with screen

Nice little miner

Same Issue with the TTGO T4
How do you get out what you mine
how you change settings after you set it up first time? also is it even possible to find block?
Very unlikely but is a chance, that why they are called lottery miners
Can you explain how to read information on display?
My TTGO T4 doesnt switch on the display anymore :(
Looks like an ESP32

Thanks for the video

Yea, you can connect to it via computer with wifi

Does anyone's show any hash rate on the pools websites. i can see 21.36 kh on my nerdminer screen but both ckpool and zsolo say 0.
I can't even find mine on ckpool
neither can I, we are so insignificant?
Thank you. Got it all set up, but now it just goes to hash screen runs for a few seconds, goes blank, and then returns to the hashscreen....infinite loopy
Try it again from scratch, reset device. (Side button) if it keeps doing it re-flash. If inside a box with no airflow it might overheat
after the install my miner still has a black screen.......
I used to have that picture set on my channel lol I almost thought that comment was mine and I'm like when did I type this
I used to have that same picture set as my main picture on my channel. I almost thought that was my comment and I'm like when did I type that 😂
@@BossReacts9906 🤣 I got it sorted anyways
Can i do participate on bigger miner pools or is it just for solo mining pools? Thanks for your video! :)
its 25mhs ... solo only thing makes sense
Amazing.
For some reason my nerdminer can not find any networks. Not sure what is going on.
Reflash it until it can be detected, and if you can scan qr code to connect to device, or see it on network or phone, the internal NIC might be bad
@@SerpentXTech I found out what was wrong, I did not have 2.4 ghz enabled on my router
I used to live in Jacksonville
Can I use a bitcoin address generated by Exodus program?
Yea of course, as long as you control the Bitcoin wallet go for it
Did you have to do anything with your modem or router? I set mine up, but it won’t hash upon connecting to Wi-Fi. Any help would be awesome!

Use WiFi password without extra characters
did every thing you showed and now i have no display

thanks i was able to get it working@@SerpentXTech
So sweet ❤⚡⚡
so do i understand this correct. after the bitcoin address i need to type".NerdX"?
I think you can type whatever you want after the (.) because that is your worker name
@@ColbyNoe do you need to type anything at all or can you leave it blank and just paste your btc address there ?
Whats the flipping hashrate???

Yes
2 months not have blockes 😢😢😢😢
i get "error: failed to execute open on serialport: failed to open serial port."
heeelp?
Fixed it with a different USB cable. Windows somehow did not realize that I connected the device.
Nicee
Anyone have it where the screen never turns off after pushing button bottom?
So the top two, on lcd side don't do anything for me. The power button is below lcd. But what you really trying to accomplish?
@@SerpentXTech Just turn the screen off while it’s running.
@forty6260 yea mine doesn't so that either. Have with tweeted at the nerd miner community to see? Tag me if you do
Not ok 😂😂😂😂
