- Опубликовано: 28 ноя 2024
- This tutorial walks you through how to set up and use a Bitcoin Mining device for home known as the NerdAxe. The lessons herein also pertain to the Bitaxe and NerdMiner. This is (in my opinion) one of the easiest and most fun ways to learn about and try mining for the first time.

an honest lottery ticket for about $150 if you mine solo. If you mine in a pool, it is better to buy a full-fledged miner. This is an excellent device for decentralization of mining
interesting probability of winning in comparison with popular lotteries
We need to be mining to new the network honest :)
You are so consistent with your videos! I very much appreciate your genuine content. It’s a testament to the character you represent. Donna Mikalonis at being a great teacher and human being! I know that I have learned so much from you in the last few months. You helped me ask & answer a very important question..."What are your crypto convictions?" This question alone really has provided a healthy foundation to build off of. I've been in crypto for almost 4 years...and I have found so much value in your content. Thank You!
@DonnaMikalonis
she's mostly on Telegrams, using the user name
The fact that I got to learn and earn from her program is everything to me think about it, it's a win-win for both ways.
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary.
It doesn't matter if you are a current holder or a newbie, you can capitalize on the fluctuation of bitcoin by trading with good strategy/signals..
Excellent video. I just placed my order for a NerdAxe.
Me too bro the Supra one
Thanks for the awesome video.
I ordered my NerdAxe to bring back the mining to people, as BTC was originally designed!
Congrats for this amazing video Ben! Completely agree with your final thoughts, the best way to learn is practicing it. This small machines let you be in contact with Bitcoin mining as it had not existed until now
Just ordered a Bitaxe (similar machine). Now the big question; Do I link it to a miner pool to get a miniscule trickle of incoming sats OR do I leave it as my personal lottery machine in hopes of a big payoff?? Decisions, decisions. Regardless, I'll be doing my small part to help the network.
only worth solo lottery mining with any home miner... someone did get lucky recently on ckpool solo mining a block with a bitaxe
You could do 2: 1 linked to a pool and 1 to solo. A guy had one of these running solo for about 9 days (2 months ago or so) and hit a block. Pretty good ROI.
Thanks for the good summary! Now is the perfect time to start buying stocks and crypto( BTC ) if you are just being introduced.. I really wish I started earlier. I’m learning this doesn’t have to be as complicated as some people make it out to be. Thanks to Adriana Jensen Program for helping me get into her trading server and investing guidelines. Investing and trading are more than just having TA skills. There is a big component of discipline and emotional maturity, that one has to work on! Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm! Within some months I was making a lot more money and have continued on that same path with Adriana.
Thanks for keeping it light and real at the same time. Much needed for us traders in times like these….
Adriana Jensen program is widely available online..
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
This is why it is advisable to connect with a true market strategist in order to avoid missing such opportunity and maintain steady gains.
It really helped trading with Adriana Jensen analysis and info, even with the market in a downward trend. Definitely riding the market wave is a good perspective..
Great video! I'm confused with the Stratum User and Password. In the Public Pool website says the username needs to be written as .. And the password is set as X. What changes when you changed the password from settings in AxeOs?
With all due respect. Please don't think i am crapping on you. But why would i buy this at only 500Gh at $180 euros which is double in Canadian and US dollar, when you can buy a avalon nano 3 at 4TH at only 140 watts power consumption for only $159 USD and more then triple the chances of catching a lottery bitcoin block with more hash power compared to the NerdAxe's delusional price. That NerdAxe is as good as a paper weight.
But nerdaxe is only 12W power consumption and avalon 140W. Avalon is less efficient.
@@locoporlapasta incorrect, its not always about power consumption. You need to take into account the Avalon has more then twice the power. Therefore increasing your chances of wining a block.
@@undead567incorrect. Do some math
@@Btree33 i did. Its clear that the Avalon has twice the hash power.
Kudos to the team for Versidium's comprehensive ecosystem. Easy 50x soon.
Great video, ty. Had already set mine up, but this really helped reassure I'd done it all correct.
have you been able to earn any sats running it?
Suggestions for a larger more powerful miner for home use...120volts?
Check out d-central from Canada. They buy used antminer and completely refurbish them. They modify the asics by under volting them so that they can run on a residential 110v or 240v outlet in a house. I got a antminer s19 that uses only 1200 watts and makes on average 42 terra hash. Only cost $500. But consider if you were to try and match the terra hash of one of these with a couple of bit axes, nerd miners, etc. You would spend 3x as much money to match the same hashing power. I'm going to be ditching my avalon nano 3s for another antminer from d-central. Their value proposition is insane tbh honest for at home miners. Hoping for a solo block but you can get small amounts of sats if you pool mine
@@timbercrasher1 thanks!...I'll check it out
Props for spreading Ocean goodness
is it possbile to access the dashboard remotely (not in the same wifi)?
Started diving into Lightning and was looking for help and found your channel. awesome, btw. Could you comment on why you use CLN over LND? I haven't deployed my node yet but, did clone and setup LND on my pc. Started watching your videos and noticed you use CLN so I am considering baselining CLN, just want to understand a high level why you prefer CLN?
Impressive results, thanks! Keep up the good work.
Great video. I'm trying to find a dealer for nerdaxe here in the US. Quick question. Will this create a lot of traffic such that my ISP will take notice?
Crypto is the Wild West, but I’m all in!
The blockstream jade Costs 100$ and can be used as a novelty miner.
the bitaxe can be purchased for ~$100 from solosatoshi and has the hashrate of 5 million blockstream jades. just saying.
@@John-lz3hf good to know! this is the difference in power between CPU and ASIC chipsets!
Hi , thanks for your video . Please let me ask . Whats the model for your mic i like your sound quality
Thx Ben💯 What is the advantage to setting up using a Lightning ⚡️ address over on-chain…?
Onchain payouts require a minimum eg. Ocean 1,048,576 sats. Lightning has no minimum.
@@kencharles7048 Thx Bruahda! So if U direct payout to a Lightning address, We need to have deeeeep channel...?Never know...
Why would u do this instead of nano 3
Video suggestion, would be sick if you did a new video on updating the Bitaxe firmware.
so "hitting" the next block isnt about the power of the asic miner? How could NerdAxe win the other asics in the world even with such a low hash-rate compared to the bigger ones?
Thanks for video, I'll consider buying one
There're always chances for every miners, it's just that stronger miners have higher chance than weaker miners.
1 in 2 million chance, google solochance for calculator. Someone recently got lucky and found a block.
Lucky!
Each hash guess has the same probability of being the correct one to mine the block, but a higher hash rate means you get more guesses.
Its like a raffle, one ticket wins, and every ticket has the same chance to win, but some people decide to purchase more tickets to increase their probability of catching a block.
At some point, you're spending more on tickets than you would win if you do catch a block. The intent of these small miners is to increase the pressure on large miners and spread the hashrate over a larger area, which secures the network.
Large miners depend on selling the bitcoin they mine to cover overhead costs. They must hit blocks to stay operating. Every pleb that hits a block will make it harder for big hash to operate profitably. That means the network stays distributed and competitive.
Asics were developed closed source and allowed industrial players to totally monopolize the hashrate. They made it next to impossible for small scale cpu and GPU miners to compete.
A low cost, open source asic miner that can be mass produced and put in the hands of millions of people who will plug it in and never worry about profitability or power consumption is a wonderful development that moves us closer to the original intention of the bitcoin project.
Give all your friends a BitAxe!
What r pros n cons of nerdaxe vs bitaxe?
bitaxe cheaper from solosatoshi and easily updated from webUI but doesn't have the fancy screen
@@John-lz3hf thx
Versidium has at least 50-80x potential for 2024. Don´t ignore this project.
Much thanks. Perfect timing as we’re about to purchase a couple of solo miners to continue to journey down the rabbit hole. I’m running an umbrel node so don’t know if the we’ll be able to access Lightning Core to go full custody via direct lighting payout.
same package exists in umbrel - just checked
@@sats_nak much thanks Sats Nak
Versidium’s ecosystem is exactly what the crypto space needs.
BitAxe only!
Major CEX listings incoming for Versidium, lock your position now before its to late..
This is very cool
I will buy 2.
One for regular payouts and the other one for lottery 😅
By the way how many sats/day can we expect?
At 500 gh/s its about 0.05$ a day.
@@Toto77777Oh!! Then its better to play thunder games and use fountain app...for free sats
I can't believe someone hit a block with a Bitaxe just 2 days ago...I'm so happy for whoever it was. Also Ben I always appreciate the self sovereign kyc free stuff...Been watching you for years for this main reason. This video was so cool.
So it is slightly better than the bitaxe eh?
LETS F’N GO!!!!
Avalon Nano gets me 4+ TH and costs like $170 :D
The Avalon Nano uses 140W compared to BitAxe 12W. The Average Electricity Rate in the U.S. is 16.88 cents per kilowatt-hour. That's 52 cents extra a day in electricity costs, or $189.40 per year. These are great for learning about mining with a low investment and for lottery mining, like block 853742. These have 5 million times the hashrate of a NerdMiner V2 for 4 times the price, and at 5W, they only cost a few dollars a month to try and hit a block. Trying to mine for regular payouts using either of these devices isn't going to be very lucrative.
@@John-lz3hf How may sats/day can we expect from nerd axe? Thx
@@OrangeLF like 25 sats a day. These are better used as lottery miners.
Dogecoin started as a joke but became widely popular.
Bitcoin’s value has been highly volatile over the years.
