the videos have a good level of ambience and sound effects and with music turned off so he can put his own in rare occasions makes for a nice soundscape. some games are better without music in my own opinion

I've been slowly planning an ASMR in Video Games video, but I'm not sure if I'll ever make it. The ASMR in Movies & TV videos probably won't return though because I can't find enough clips I really like.
The fact that we can have a rickroll reference in comic sans in a AAA game is incredible

The Timesplitters community has been hard at work modding the Homefront version of TS2 to clear up remaining bugs and such. I do wonder if they can mod it enough to just get to it from the top menu.

I actually picked up The Witness again last week, and that first easter egg with the two statues is my favorite of the game. There's such incredible thought put into these little things. For example in the mirror world, there are some tree branches whose reflections look like two fish swimming in the water. Lots of beautiful moments like that.

How much of that footage was you going into the game knowing you were gonna sync it up with the background music vs you just capturing it all and it just organically fitting the beat? Honestly it’s one of the most mesmerizing things about the vid to me.
20% of them are happy accidents, but the other 80% aren't planned either. I'll just know when recording that I can edit the footage to sync with the music. For example, the clicks from selecting the Timesplitters levels were just off sync in the footage. I sped up parts of the footage and moved audio around to make it sound synced.

its insane to me just how detailed some of these easter eggs are and the quality of the videos which you make. I feel kind've bad for the devs of the deracine(is that right) for needing to apologize for an easter eggs wording. one downside to having people trying to connect non existent dots.
