- Today I test the Sierra 9mm 115 JHP in some ballistic gel. The bullet performs great without the denim in front of the block. Thanks for watching Please subscribe IF you are interested in agriculture content you might like my other channel 10 cow ranch.

Quite interesting Chris. I enjoy all the testing you do with reloads and factory ammo. Thank you for taking us along with you.
Thank you for the positive feedback Russ. Sometimes I wonder if anybody is interested in these types of videos. This what I do so I just put the camera and share the information. This Seirra bullet load development has been driving mu a little crazy. I guess that is what makes it fun. Thanks for watching
Wow what a difference
I am really supervised at the difference.
Interesting result!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸

Interesting. Do you have a vid testing the Hornady Critical Defense loads? 'Bout time I subscribed so I just did. 😊
Thanks for the sub. I did a test on the Hornady. A year or two ago. They tested good. If you are in the subbing mood you should check out my other channel. 10 cow ranch. Haha thanks for all the great comments
Do a text with denem and fmj vs hollow points. I bet they are the same .
I think you are right. I couldn't believe the way the HP reacted with the denim. I hope all the zombies are naked haha
Crazy but interesting. I wonder if you had one layer of denim if it would expand somewhat? Those bullets are only good at stopping naked bad guys….lol!
Not many naked bad guys around haha I wished I would have thought about trying just one layer. Did you see my other video with the 4.2 grains of titegroup? My Taurus G2 loves that load but the others to so much.
A lot of people shot with non-expanding rounds have been dropped pretty quickly.
When his expanded, it didn't meet the FBI standard of 12" minimum penetration so many demand.
The 4 layers of denim is a little extreme. The next test I do is going a tee shirt a littler realistic. Thanks for all of the great comments. I read them all. You might like my other channel 10 cow ranch Thank you in adavance@@Just1American1966
Well it was like ball ammo. How about gluing a BB INTO the hole,,that bb gun bb,is hard
I have heard of that. For me not sure I wold take the time to do that Thanks for watching If you like agriculture content you might like my other channel 10 cow ranch Thank you in advance
Ugh. Just bought these to load up. I guess I just purchased expensive range fodder.
Not sure I would say that. I am going to do another test with just one layer of denium and some T shirt material I think the 4 layers was a little too much Thanks for watching
While I don’t see the relevance of the 4-layer standard with real-world concerns, I have to say the failure to expand does show the limits of old tech HPs. Instead of denim, how about fiber filled (or down-filled) puffy coats, leather and hoodie cotton?
I agree with you I need to do some more testing. I don't anybody that walks around with 4 layers of denim on . Thanks for the comment @@trashrelocationengineer6472
