I really want to know why cuphead's parents are not around. I'm guessing in the actual game they passed away years ago. But maybe in the show we probably will get an answer I'm assuming their father was just as crazy as cuphead was and made a deal with the devil years ago. Resulting him and his mother going straight down there
The Cuphead show follow the vibe and logic of 1930 cartoons. The absence of parents is completely irrelevant and I doubt will ever become serrious plot point.
