Its an over-hyped, over-priced SCAM-bler. Remember the Gen1 Duke 390 also had 150 mm suspension travel at both ends! Nowadays it costs 80,000 Rs. in the second hand market and that too for a slipper clutch model. The 19-inch front wheel of the SCAMbler is more of a pain than and advantage because it is friggin-expensive to find W-rated tyres in this size. Not to forget, the holy-grail-bike the Hypermotard 698 Mono also has only 17-inch front and yet is way more adept at 'scrambling' than this pseudo-Scamster Truimph!
found it to be a bit better because of it's road presence and it's ability to be taken anywhere easily. the major drawback with scrambler is it's seat height. so it's buyers call, try both. bike riding feel is same.
yes, it has 10 step adjustable monoshock at the rear but, it wont make a very significant difference in seat height, but the suspensions won't be enjoyable then. won't recommend doing it for seat height
@@TwoTiredBawaI am surprised with this bike and looks very impressive, I have seen this bike and sitted on it, But my foot is not reaching the ground properly, My height is 5.9, I feel very uncomfortable with this, I'm asking that can it be changed with after market wheels to decrease the height and will be good or not? and second what about its road presence and your personal favourite colour of this bike?
@@MohammadSalehMiddya yes changing tyres will help, plus adjusting the monoshock shock suspension. but if not being able to touch your foot on the ground makes you that uncomortable that it's a deal break then i would suggest, check other bikes. but personally i dont think with 5'9 you should b facing any actual issue. i like the green color one with the white strip. Road presence is decent, people will know it's a different bike. it definitely looks cool on road. Rest looks are very subjective. i would rate them 7.5/10

I think the x440 is a vastly better bike. The engine on the harley is amazong, no vibrations at all and ample low end torque. It also has really good road presence unlike the triumph
will make a comparision video comparing the two. but thos two bikes should not be compared. but even if you end up comparing. the triumps are way better in almost all departments yes speed 400 has lesser road presence than x400 but there many other factors where it outshines x440
@DarkHorse-Bawa I've test driven both (harley twice and triumph 3 times, bought himalayan after). The triumph is butter smooth in low revs, and has ample low end torque but as soon as you get past the midrange the triumph vibrates like crazy. This is bad because the power is in the higher revs. The harley also vibrates in high revs, but you don't have to drive it there, it does not vibrate in low and mid range. Obviously your tolerance for vibrations is different from me. I come from a 150cc and I find the triumph very jarring. That 440cc engine is amazing and I think even the maverick is gonna be great. And I disagree on not comparing. All bikes must be compared because we cannot afford multi bike garages. So any bike within the same price range is a potential option
Hello bro nice review.❤ which colour is more attractive in person is it red or khaki green ?
liked khaki green more
Would you recommend speed 400 over cb300r
Lol noo cb300r is a better handling machine than speed 400
definitely.
the only thing i felt cbr is better at is - looks.
yes, because it's a 145kg machine. (cb300r)
i would say take test ride of both and then decide.
You pay over 3 lacs & get a 9.7 ltrs fuel tank with poor pillion seat comfort!!.. Don't go for a flop bike like CBR300R..
yes, there are many reasons why it's not doing sales.
Great info. I wanna buy it after this. **Yaar kya chalti hai yaar** 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 sold
always getting honest reviews in this channel! sub++ :D
hahah thanks 😁❤️
How much mileage are you getting?
this was a test bike, so i dont know how much mileage it will give. but you should expect between 25-30
Awesome, such detailed review 🙌🙌
Thanks bro 😁
You reckon its better than the Harley X440 considering in the same segment?
They are in the same segment but are completely different in the way they run. Yes, Triumph Speed/ Scrambler 400 is a better bike in various aspects.
Oyee hoyee hoyee hoyeee....very nice❤
hahah 😂😂
Nice bike color .Any special reason for tank lid alignment to one side
interesting. didnt think about it 😂
Nice
thanks 😁😁

won't agree with the overhyped and overpriced part. it's a brilliant machine that runs superbly.
Awesome review 👍👍
thanks bro ❤️❤️
Is it better than clasic 350 handling?
yes. way better.

Low end bajaj engine dominar
High end ktm machine
Middle engine by triumph
Slipper clutch
Ride by wire
And key features
Brand value and re sale
The best value for money
Trust me price will increase
Go for it
If u to ride
If u wanna just enjoy the ride
This can go easily at 155 single ride enjoying braking and not worrying 19 inch
30,000 difference is totally worthy
Than speed 400 is more for city 50% city riding
30% highway riding
20%+Off ROAD to if tire changed
+ Touring kits and
Good accessories u decide
yes a lot of good things are there in this bike in this segment. also the build quality is top notch.

But it will kill you in mileage I guess! 😢
My friend is using speed 400 and he is getting an average of 25-30 litres.
