Triumph Scrambler 400 X is powered by 398.15 cc engine.This Scrambler 400 X engine generates a power of 40 PS @ 8000 rpm and a torque of 37.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The claimed mileage of Scrambler 400 X is 28.3 kmpl. Triumph Scrambler 400 X gets Disc brakes in the front and rear. The kerb weight of Scrambler 400 X is 186 Kg. Triumph Scrambler 400 X has Tubeless Tyre and Alloy Wheels.
The Himalayan 452 has a peak torque output of 40Nm at 5,500rpm and out of that, 33Nm is available from the 2,500rpm mark, with the ADV redlining at 8,000rpm. Features-wise, the motorcycle gets an all-new round 4-inch instrument console with music and phone controls along with integrated Google Maps navigation. From what we understand, such a configuration offers a good balance of bottom and mid-range performance.

Long gone are the days when the naysayers use to troll RE for producing sluggish engine but , the time has changed RE has flip the switched with it's new generations 💥
very true ! rode the classic and himalayan..have to say both felt very refined and premium when you compare it to the older generations its a night and day difference !!

Triumph was Drafting behind the Himalayan and that's how it was able to hold on with the top speed of the Himalayan. If not for drafting, the triumph would be way behind the Himalayan. And also the speedo meter error on the Triumph has to be noted. Himalayan doing 150k is ahead of Triumph doing 160k.

It does, I was on a ride to chikmagalur recently on my scrambler 400x. The wind blast is horrible it pulls you back every time you open the throttle.

@@conquerorz6700 Scrambler i believe is 10KG lighter than Himalayan 450 so for some people light weight machines are more comfortable for off-road. Himalayan is "only" good at extreme off-road. Everything else it's not impressive I mean throttle calibration sucks, Fuel leaking issue, So unrefined, engine still vibrates alot , overall the bike vibrates are Higher RPM, quality is just okay not great , I'm mean the head area is so messed up and then there is RE service.

First of all great video, but I have seen a lot of comparisons between particularly these two bikes, but as far my limited knowledge, Himalayan is an ADV tourer whilst Scrambler is for an entirely different purpose, so was curious to understand these comparisons please brother
So scramblers are light off roaders and great tourers, that's why it's being compared.

@@avishekguha4274 true that, had a test drive of speed 400 recently and that thing pulls like a diesel turbo car, right from 3000 rpm, let's hope guerrilla will pull even better with additional torque
Himalayan 450 is an off-roader with slimmer but very large 21 inch front tires, because of that its straight line stability on the highways would be less than regular street bikes, but Guerilla 450 is made for highway stability.

I prefer bike for touring not for speed so for me its triumph the GAP is not much as smooth engine fit and finish is good , confidence good for city crowd
Re h450 is more preferable for touring and also you don't have to worry about any rough terrain in the way, the suspension is 10x better then Bajaj triumph for sure

It's all about the transmission and the driver , the engine capacity and hp are similar the transmission not ..if you change the transmission of Triumph only a tuth front it can go faster for sure.... Himalayan is for sure a light adventure motorcycle the Triumph is a street scrambler other category more European style not for heavy duty as the Royal Enfield and Himalayan is also more European with liquid cool engine a big step for Europe , the previous model , man so slow and box design , perfect for mountain's not for towns..... I don't understand why companies give tube tyres in adv bikes .I mean if I'm buying an adv bike I'm not going to ride it on tracks..If my bike gets punctured then what's the point of an adv ???I mean tubeless tyres also gets punctured but at least it gives you time to go through the situation.
Spoke wheels take heavy impact of off-roading. They are easier to fix when the spokes bend (if alloy breaks, it is game over and will need to buy new).
I'm not saying I prefer spoke wheels. Just telling you the benefits of spoke wheels in advs

you are comparing a 398cc bike with 452cc bike which is totally not acceptable also the triumph scrambler is 50k cheaper than hiamlayan so in my point of view scrambler is winner

in both times you can clearly hear the triumph rider holding the rev limiter for like 2 seconds each shift prior to shifting up, what a joke! there are other videos drag race the himi gets left behind initially then they both top out about the same top speed. In the first "race" the triumph pulls way ahead and literally stops accelerating to let the himalayan catch up! neither one is a speed machine, but at least try to make it believable!
Himalayan got more top end than triumph. The triumph speed 400 just got huge speedo errorof almost like 20kph

@@zakbond4903 No , but both people liked the 400x more. I will ride them both in my next ride to test it . Time was short that day but they said the scramble is as smooth as the honda engine. And the low end torque is just awesome.
