Steer by wire has been used by the military and commercial airlines for decades… It has been proven extremely effective and safe with hundreds of thousands of hours of use.
Clicked on this specifically because of that wrap. That has to be the best wrap for the CT I've ever seen. That P-51 Mustang look with the rivets just suits it perfectly. The BFGs and custom wheels look nice on it, too, but they'll significantly reduce range. If you're not road-tripping the thing across the country, though, it probably won't matter.
I’ve seen a few wrapped Cyber Trucks on the road and I think they look a bit better than stock, but this is by far the best one I’ve seen, especially with the wheel/tyre combo.
Also Eddie, realize how many people complained that the debut model Cadillac Lyriq’s simple push button door handles with strikingly similar functionality to this Tesla’s doors, were discontinued for 2024 because folks actually complained it was “too complicated” or “too many steps” to opening a door. Nobody from Tesla has complained this method to open the doors requires “too many steps” or is too complicated and you make it look very easy here. Lol. I really think *gm* needs to learn how to ignore their naysayers who just like to worry them with things that aren’t issues for anyone that don’t even matter. Wish *gm* had a stronger back bone sometimes. I will say I’m happy to see they haven’t folded with the CT5’s c-pillar which folks tried to convince them to delete as well. No other luxury brand has that side profile design so of course they want Cadillac to feel it’s “cheap” and they need to rid themselves of it too when in actuality it looks great and gives the CT5’s side profile lots of character.
The reason why you don’t feel like it will do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds is because you did not get to fill the full launch. Launch control was deactivated because of the oncoming car. If the cameras or sensors, see anything ahead of you, a certain amount of feet at the activates launch control.
The wrap is kinda cool, if you’re a fan of Sharkboy and/or Lavagirl. I don’t hate the Tesla CT either, I don’t care enough about it to “hate” it. I’d definitely rent one for a fun day of driving fast and all eyes who have never seen a CT looking at me, I guess. I can’t for the love of God comprehend why anyone who isn’t a Tesla fanatic would give the company their money for one of these “pickups” from Tesla.

They finally contacted me after all this time, to fulfill my reservation, but I’ve already had my Ford F150 Lightning for 8 months and absolutely love it, so sorry Tesla, too late
That wrap is actually pretty cool
It is really well done!

It’s hilarious that all the haters can’t help themselves and have to watch and let us know they hate it 😉😊

Wow! With that color & design, you probably don't need a car wash until ditching.
I’m pretty sure 99% of the reason Alejandro did the wrap was so he didn’t need to wash the truck 😂
patina is a water saving feature
It looks ready to take on zombie apocalypse 😂
Until, the battery runs out! Lol!😂😂😂
@@corpnupe85 true lol.
at least you could charge it with solar, in a zombie apocalypse, if you have an ICE vehicle, when you run out of gas you are sol

For the turn signals, it’s easy to remember if you think about stalks. Up for right and down for left. I’m sure that wasn’t by accident or luck.

Really good review Eddie 👍.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
@@EddieX We did our review Sunday. We missed the lights in the bed, and we couldn't get the ceiling shifter to light up.

The proportions looks so much better with the bigger tires on it. That’s definitely what I’m doing to mine.
Are these 37" tires?
Are those 37" tires?
Did you install an aftermarker sunvisor? It doesn't look like the stock visor.

Because they arent you.
The wrap is more of a WW2 homage with a Flying Tigers vibe.
Finally a real awesome CT, and finally awesome rims...
I like the wrap
Funny how people that love their Tesla and know everything about it and labor over wrapping it title the video, "Somehow I Don't Hate it..."
wrap is cool except for missing rivets along panel lines
I like the rap and the tires.
I called them ro get rhe price for the wrap: insane, dont bother to call...
storage below not a good idea.
Mr he cyber cab will have this aesthetic

I think your point to the cybertruck is clear, there is none..
Did the Countach depreciate as soon as the Cybertruck? 🤔
That belongs in mars
I would easily have a hummer over this. I respect Elon for actually putting this into production
Pretty cool ❤
Sem palavras esse produto esse es um verdadeiro sonho de consumo de todos já é marca favorita não
It can do almost everything ICE trucks can but with many advantages.
Try telling that to the luddite army.

I measured 0-60 in 3.19s when you launched it
So 100K+ then it drops like a stone LOL. You really want to Buy or Own to much less....
