The other thing I would say is don't be afraid to take a loss. I have been doing copart cars for a year now, nowhere near your value, mostly 1-3k stuff, some I have made a grand on, some I have lost 500 on but the ones I have lost on, I have learnt something from. I have taught myself to spray, weld, repair etc so that 500 loss has been worth it to teach myself how to spray using a compressor for instance. All car dealers take a loss every now and then, just keep churning man

I would buy a categorised car if I was to keep it for a long time. If I wanted a car for say 3-4 years so I got my moneys worth out of it so wasn’t worried about trying to resale it to get money back. If it’s been repaired to a high standard and if there’s documentation of the repair like pictures or videos then I think it’s a great way for someone to get into a car they wouldn’t be able to afford if not crash damaged. Another thing is I like to fix cars so they f I bought something with full service history and in perfect condition then I’d need to keep that going so doing a service like oil change etc or changing brake pads etc you need to take it to garage to keep service record up to date were as I feel with a crash damage car things like that wouldn’t matter has much…

It's worth £8k if that. Written off cars can be harder and more expensive to insure and as it has already been written off, should it ever be written off again, the payout will be less. This is from experience.

I've bought a few cars from copart and made a decent profit on them apart from one which was a 2015 Ford Kuga cat n which should of easily been a cat s, started taking the front bumper off and the chassis rails were badly bent, could not tell from the pictures before buying, where as at the moment i am repairing a 2017 Ford Focus ST3 cat s which should be a cat n as the only damage to the car was slight bumper and bonnet damage had not even damaged the crash bar. You have done a top job on the Audi, will look amazing when painted so i think you could get £9995 to £10995. Have you watched Reviving Salvage on you tube, he has repaired a very nice 2015 Audi S1 but has been trying to sell his for over a year but i think it is his location that has caused lack of interest so he has put it up for Raffle which is another option you could use to sell your Audi. All the best and good luck.

Good Luck with the sale, The Audi S1 is a very difficult car to sell, I reduced mine to 9k in the end, and still no interest, mine was a category N. I currently have it up in a raffle and hopefully, I will be able to give it away to someone. I bought my one 2 years ago and the prices were a lot higher then. I Paid 7k before fees and delivery, and in the end, it cost me 13k to get it back on the road, I suppose where you are lucky, you bought yours at a reasonable price. Plus the colour is a massive factor, mine is Red and doesn't appeal to everyone but I think you might have more luck. I will be very surprised if you get 10k but if you do then you can sell mine Lol

I've never had a crash damaged car mate but you've literally made a full playlist of videos of everything that you have done to the car and have video evidence you've done a propper job, that definitely adds value for sure. honestly id list this between 12k and 13k if a tire kicker comes you've left yourself plenty to shave off the top and have still made a decent profit.

I'd say in-between 10-11k. Few grand profit, if you could do 1 car per month you'd certainly be in the money to quit your job and do this full time. 👌
