Something I thought I'd help everyone remember that some might've forgotten: Back in Shadowkeep, there was a strike, the Festering Core. It was completely unrelated to the story, but it featured Savathun sending the Taken to take control over a Vex computational array. Maybe that was the first step in Savathun's attempts to take control of the Vex network?
I hope we get to see Eido in the future, it feels so fitting that she is House Light Scribe. It's just such a uplifting feeling seeing Eliksni roam the Tower after years of me personally wanting something like this
My first impressions are that Mitrax is the Chad Kell, Vex are a bunch of loot piñata nerds, and I want a baby Fallen plushy. Oh and Honydew is my new arch enemy.
The Borrowed time lore tab is good, but my fav has to the the Riiswalker lore tab. You can honestly sympathize with everyone in that lore tab. The guy with the shotgun, the eliksni, and the guardian. Its all written incredibly well. And its something you could see happening IRL. Its fantastic. The mod is obviously angry at the eliksni, especially the one with the shotgun, who's sister was kidnapped and probably killed by fallen. The eliksni is obviously afraid and confused, not understanding in the moment why he's being attacked for something he didn't do. And the guardian, who uses stasis to save the eliksni and dispell the mod, but is then rebuked by the eliksni who is obviously afraid and wary if anyone who uses the darkness after the whole thing that happened with eramis. All of these are things that can happen, and you can empathize with all of them. Its presented very well. Who every wrote this lore tab, my hats off to you, as someone who also enjoys writing. Very well done. Oh and the gun looks sick. An eliksni forged iron banner weapon? Dope as hell.
Neat Fact: Riiswalkers lore tab is part 4 of a story. Starting with book 3 of Beneath the endless night ("Gifts from the Shore"), Followed by Chroma Rush, Shattered Cipher and then finally Riiswalker
I've played this game for 6 years and learned more about the fallen (in game) in 15 minutes when listening to Eidos at the camp then the entire time of me playing. Ah finally some good in game story and explanations.
I like how Mithrax is presented as a leader. They make it clear that, as it stands, he is not our friend, but more of a weary ally. He maybe trusts us on a personal level, but he’s made it clear he doesn’t fully trust in the political stability of the vanguard. It’s just little details like this that help ground the story and character of mithrax as a believeable character.
For some reason, I feel as if the Fallen Quarter is just gonna expand as the season progresses. Right now, half the quarter seems ripe for Fallen construction.
Sort of allies. We've got a armatice with them, which means the main empire of the Cabal are neutral towards us, although there are cabal who didn't leave Earth as part of the armatice and are seen as criminals, with us tasked to handle them ourselves. However, I would not be surprised that in the future, after they've recovered a bit more from their retreat from Torobatl and have settled down a bit, that they send some troops to help us kick some hive butt!
@@michaelstowe2167 Never knew about the armistice between U.S. and North Korea, but I get what you mean. It'll be a while until we become allies with the cabal, but right now Caital does not want to keep fighting with us guardians, who have left their mark on thier military history. Quite a few marks actually. It'll take small steps for us to eventually become allies with the cabal and end our conflict with them, but for now having the majority of the cabal off our backs is nice, since we have other worries atm.
@@dustydan4961 I agree. Caitl is forced to play politics. Her real intentions are to have us as allies, though doing so immediately would ruffle to many feathers and she'd risk her leadership in doing so. Her strongman stance is partially an act to placate the more extreme elements of the Red Legion.
I remember in an interview about Destiny going forward that "Savathun is going to set up a bunch of dominos and will knock them down in Witch Queen." So I'm sure Quria will be involved at some point.
There was never a reason to like them in the first place though. We hardly knew anything about each faction leaders personality and history. Also we never could interact with them on a commune level within their respective factions to make us care about them.
Canonically the faction LEADERS (and generally those in the consensus) have been sorta dicks. It's also canon now that some people are leaving the FWC due to its leadership, not the ideals of the faction itself
Wait for next week when you learn where he learned those " five spirited words that followed were replete with hard consonants." Makes the whole thing even sadder.
Actually funny enough i think the real "consistent narrative thread" has actually been Osiris. He's been fairly prominent in all of these seasons so far. Also I really really just hope that when things come to a head, it doesn't result in another season of the chosen style conclusion, where the eliksni actually leave the last city due to intolerance and we get this sort of "estranged allies" situation.
There's also the fact that the Hive have been involved in some way throughout the previous seasons. Season of the Hunt was them in the most direct role, with Xivu Arath taking control of large swaths of warriors to her cause, while Season of the Chosen has them in the backseat, but are also the reason whil Ciatal is in Sol in the first place. And now with Quria appearing in the first mission of the Season of the Splicer, with one of the FWC weapon lore tabs heavily implying as it taking control of Vex.
@@kappega You can see the curve of the faceplate and his plume. Saint has been a force against the Eliksni for centuries and Eido says it’s a long standing ward against guardians

All the seasons this year so far has been about gaining allies. We got Crow as an ally, we have a "cease fire" with Caitl who will most likely later be an ally and we got mithrax and his house light already helping the vanguard in the city walls. This year is all about gaining allies in preparation to fight Savathun.
Given that the Eliksni Wing of the H.E.L.M. is directly opposite to *another* door of the exact same fashion, I'm having a hard time doubting that _that_ side of the H.E.L.M. won't become the "Cabal Wing" after the armistice eventually becomes an alliance. After all, Elsie saw a Cabal alliance (*not* an armistice) in the dark future.
HACK TO YOU! A bit of the main campaign too. Not sure if you’re up to date (look away now) the Vex remind me a lot of the Somnova. The Guardian takes the place of the Nein, Mithrax takes the place of Yussa and Lakshmi is Lucien
One neat thing in this season is that you can follow a sad little story over multiple lore tabs. 1. Crow has been going to Spider's storehouses and taking resources (and convincing his workers to defect), and sending them to House Light in Spider's name to mess with him 2. In another tab we meet a young eliksni who's unloading these supplies in the hangar. He doesn't speak good english, and wears a badge from the vanguard that says "temporary" on it. He talks with Amanda, and when he mentions the supplies came from spider, she calls him "a string of five words with a lot of hard consonants," (obviously some kind of rude insult) and then jokingly says that's how they refer to a kind and generous friend. 3. In a different tab (that Byf actually mentioned), we see this same eliksni trying ramen for the first time down in the city, and the store owner tells him that first time customers get it for free, and this eliksni repeats what he heard Amanda say earlier, because she jokingly said that's how they refer to a kind, generous friend 4. Someone overheard this and got scared, assuming it was some kind of threat, and murdered the eliksni :( Luckily there are a few wholesome moments in the lore this season, too. Saint recognizes how Crow signs his name with a drawing of a bird. Crow leaves Spider rude notes after taking his stuff. Drifter makes donations to House Light in Lakshmi-2's name to mess with the war cult. An Archon who had a hand in the destruction of London (interestingly noted as the not-quite-last city) decides to become a weaver, and join House Light. My favorite is where an Eliksni sees a human struggling with some smoking machinery, and decides to secretly come by and repair it. After making these repairs and returning it to the humans, they learn that the smoke coming out was intentional and needed for the device to properly cook meat. On the bright side, that grill can now travel at upwards of over 20 kilometers an hour
Woah I read the first 3 lore entries but never saw the 4th, where was that one? Edit: oh shit I found it, that’s so damn sad :( that guy was so sweet and they just murdered him like that, that’s so horrible
Part of me is wondering if the First Contact with The Eliksni and Human wasn’t initially as violent but happened because of a huge misunderstanding like this. Imagine, both sides are tense and don’t really know how to communicate well. Imagine a newly Risen Warlord mistakenly kills an Eliksni envoy force for possible diplomacy, seeing them as an invading force, sparking the centuries of conflict. Just tragedies that cascaded into further cycles of violence and hatred that only now is getting resolved.
@@DeusExAngelo Wouldn't have had to be a risen either. I could see a small community of farmers who had been raised on stories of the Collapse seeing this alien thing emerging from the tree lines on the outskirts of their farm. The farmers murder it thinking it's a monster from their stories, and use the corpse as a kind of warning. A Fallen force sees the body and enacts reprisals. The community calls out for help against the "raiders" and a Risen comes, slaughters the Fallen, and takes over the community. And the rest is history.
@@horrorfan117 That might be small thing I can totally see had happened, but there is also big stuff like D1 having a tab that said that the Fallen destroyed London and House Rain eating children when you save Saint in Mercury's past. That's something Im loving about the writing this season so far. We are seeing all sides of whats going on and their interaction after centuries of hostility, both the positives and the negatives
The big theme for Beyond Light in general is one of redemption and forgiveness. The Stranger redeems herself in the eyes of her sister. The Crow for his previous life. Multiple times the Fallen are trying to redeem themselves for their invasion of the solar system. The Cabal might be trying with Caiatl. And our Guardians are even kinda doing that by adopting the darkness as a power source. In many ways every major plot point has been taking individuals and instruments of the Darkness and turning them against it.
I was so, SO happy to hear you mention Borrowed Time. The Drifter is far and away my favorite character in the whole damn game, and that lore tab perfectly encapsulates why. Also nice to see Bungie not shying away from the some aspect of politics.
The lore tabs about the interactions between humans of the city and eliksni refugees are probably my favorite. They have me on the edge of my seat for how the House of Light story arc will play out.
@@elitegamer9310 I've read the one where a young girl comes across her mother being part of a group that seems to have killed an Eliksni, while another one got away. My favorite lore tab has to be the one where a guy hallucinates and sees his son as an Eliksni.
@@inktoxicant Check out the Lore tab for Chroma Rush. BTW, if you're talking about the one where the Eliskni gets saved by a Guardian, she's the same one from the Trials armor set.
It kinda shows we humans will always attack what we don’t understand and fear the unknown............. that being said i did like the little conversation between Mithrax and Shaxx on the new crucible handcannon
I hope they explore how ignorant Eido seems to be about the atrocities the fallen have committed. She seems to either be ignoring or is unaware of the fact that the Eliksni started this conflict. Most of us are willing to forgive them, but they do need forgiving
I really like, that Mithrax is arguing with Lakshmi-2 in the dialogue of "override" And when Mithrax said to saint-14 "That's what YOU do.... kill the things you dont understand." I was like: 👁👄👁
Something I love about his interactions with Saint is that Saint is currently having none of it when Missraks says stuff like that by pointing out he's seen and fought against Eliksni doing some heinous shit. The writing so far is very good in showing both the steady friction as well as the growing comraderie between humanity and House Light, as well as the even representations of several viewpoints concerning this situation. Hope the rest of this season is just as good in that regard
I loved how in the ether dialogue, eido mentions that on riis where the ether is in overabundance, all the eliksni eventually look like captain's. Imagine a planet with captains walking around everywhere.
The buildup for our confrontation with Savathun is phenomenal and I hope it pays off well. Witch Queen is set up to be one of, if not, the best DLCs we've had. I have hope.
My first thought when I began exploring the Eliksni quarter what that Byf is going to have a field day. Haha. I'm calling it now. Lakshmi's vision of conflict with the House of Light is going to come true, but she's going to be the aggressor instead of Mithrax. I'm wondering where Bungie is going with Osiris's story. He's been a big focus for several seasons now. I feel like it's building up to something big.
Something to note about the continuation of themes is that’s actually still very on the table. This year seems to be all about a greater understanding of and potential peace with our former enemies. Not only on the large scale with the Fallen and Cabal, but the small scale with Uldren reborn as Crow. While the story threads don’t immediately line up, the THEMES are aligned, as opposed to, say, Year 2 where the overall theme was... yes.
Still gotta say the lore is freakin amazing for this season and Riiswalker actually made me tear up and my headcanon is Vriiksis' brother was the Eliksni killed in the Shattered Cipher lore tab
A mob ganging up on one of the house light members and almost killing him when he was asking for help finding his brother. He was saved by a stasis using hunter but fled from them because they feared they were corrupted like Eramis was
I went and read the SMG lore entry and quite honestly that was one of my favourite pieces of destiny story I've ever seen. For me it really distills the best of destiny's story. You have this massive plot point of the Eliksni, a species who have been at war with humanity since they arrived in the Sol system, entering the Last City as allies, and you have this tiny moment that captures the feeling of that story in-game. The Drifter, a character who has admitted to eating Eliksni on occasion, breaks up a riot because he understands both sides. The humans are afraid of the Eliksni at the bar because they've heard stories of them attacking and eating people, and the Drifter understands that in a way no living member of the Vanguard could and so he can defuse the situation. He confronts the Eliksni about this but also says it's time to leave the past behind, and in fact says he won't be eating them any more either, which gets a good laugh out of everyone. It's not just a great picture of how this event changed life in the City, it's also a great representation of the Drifter's character and how he befriends you with humour and a down-to-earth nature, which he's been doing since he showed up.
I absolutely LOVE the call-back they did to a previous mission, Enemy of My Enemy, during a conversation between Misraaks and Ikora. Very very nice touch speaking to his experiences with us.
Same i don't mind the system but if they would nerf the bounties a bit, increase the drop rate of synthstrand (or whatever it's called) and remove the cap i think it'd be a pretty good system.
One minor lore-bit I'd like to remind you about that could potentially become *very* relevant soon is one of the few parts of the Kell of Kells prophesy that we know for certain: "They (The Kell of Kells) will be chosen by the Great Machine and blessed with it's Light." If they decide to follow the potential "Mithrax as the Kell of Kells" plotline, I could see him possibly dying near the end of the season and being raised by a Ghost as the first Eliksni Guardian.
Not only that, but alzo how most non-guardians view stasis. I couldnt help but feel bad for the guardian when the fallen backed away from her due to using stasis like Eramis, even if it was to help him.
@@SuperHalofan64 Me too, but it is interesting that they putting in a little bit of the whole Stasis conflict in as well. In a way, it's showing that the guardian is more of a threat than the single fallen to the crowds eyes, which will not help relationships between guardians and normal people.
There is one key link between Chosen and Splicer that also ties back to Savathun and earlier threads: the Crown of Sorrow. Savathun also had heavy presence in Season of the Hunt’s exotic mission Harbinger. I think it’s pretty cool that Bungie is using every exotic mission/dungeon to build up to The Witch Queen.
MY NAME IS DREDGEN TYM And let me be oh so very clear: I guilded my Dredgen title for the 2nd time on day 1 of this season. I am a reckoner as well. Durning Joker’s Wild I had all gambit triumphs completed. I have thorn. I never made lumina out of respect for the original. I have necrotic grips with a 70 base stat roll. I am something for the light to truly fear. IF ANY GUARDIAN WORKING IN SERVICE OF LAKSHMI OR SAINT OR ANYONE HARMS A SINGULAR HAIR ON A SINGLE ‘SMALLEN’ ELIKSNI LARVA, *I WILL DELIVER YOUR FINAL DEATH MYSELF PERSONALLY AND PAINFULLY TO THE POINT YOU WILL BEG FOR THE HIVE TO COME MAKE YOU INTO A FUCKING CRYSTAL TO SIMPLY ESCAPE THE PAIN OF YOUR EXISTENCE DELIVERED TO YOU BY MY HAND!*
Byf, I agree with your point of Mithrax, being the center of this season. Mithrax has a conversation with someone in a lore tab and it shows that he hasn't forgotten the past. He still shows emotions about those events, and yet chooses not to act upon them which shows a great level of strength. And thank you. Because of you now I am reading every single lore tab and lore book that I unlock. It is a new way I am experiencing Destiny 2 and I am loving it.
Everyone is complaining about the transmog. Meanwhile, I got the outfit I wanted to combine in the first 2 hours and I'm never gonna change it. Still not good, but I'm already satisfied with my outfit
that's cool that you're okay with it but not everyone likes running around in a singular outfit and a 7-day in-game effort to reach one cap for one character is absolute shit
Just like the Eververse Bright Dust store, the transmog system isn't built for players to splurge on. I think a lot of players need to understand that before whining about it. I'm not saying it's the perfect system but the game is free to play and Bungie isn't small.
I love how shaxx has already accepted them and how saint is coming around to as well. I find it weird tho he didnt recognize us from before. I wish veterans got special dialogue.
I still think it’s way too early for us to come to the conclusion that saint is coming around to the house of light, there is an end of mission dialogue exchange between saint and mithrax where saint goes ape shit on mithrax, saying he should “save his false holiness for ikora” and berating the fallen for attacking earth. I do think he will come around eventually, but I think it will take until the end of the season.
I think Savathun might be pulling a double play here with the endless night, not necessarily trying to just destroy the Last City but also prevent us from forming a valuable alliance with the House of Light. My reasoning Lakshmi-2 is being used, albeit not knowingly. When on the HELM she contacts you and talks about the visions she has had, one about the Red War and Ghaul's attack on the city and one with the city on fire with Mithrax and his house in the center of it. As she explains these visions with acquired using Vex-based technology which is known for highly accurate predictions After living through the Red War and believing that you saw it coming would incline most to believe almost anything they saw using that technology and FWC is centered on using that tech to see the future. But here is how she is being manipulated, if that Hydra we saw really is Quria then that means the Savathun has access to the Vex network and possibly access to the FWC's prediction engine with would give her the ability to manipulate or completely fabricate this vision. 1) The Fallen have used this oppertunity to infiltrate the city and launch a surprise attack. This is the version Lakshmi-2 would most likely believe considering previous Fallen attacks over the centuries. 2) It a vision of Mithrax and his House of Light defending the City but there are not other friendly force in sight or the fact that they are fighting alongside Guardians is hidden. 3) It is a vision of a future were tensions between the House of Light and the rest of the City have boiled over, forcing Mithrax to do battle with the Guardians. The last 2 make me think that Savathun is involved. Number 2 is a clever misrepresentation of the truth, something well within Savathun's power. Number 3 is the most concerning and the most devious as it is quite literally a self fulfilling prophecy. First the endless night occurs which so far as we have seen is just draining the City's power and creating the endless night effect in the sky which has has an effect on the City's populace both mentally and physically. The Guardians seek out Mithrax and his still quite young House of Light to form an alliance. The Eliksni are given shelter in the City while at the same time Lakshmi-2 and FWC has the "Vision" which causes them to start riling up the populace, which would not be hard considering past hostilities. If it got hot enough something tragic might happen (the presence of hatchlings gives me reason to worry) and the House of Light is forced to fight the Guardians and likely get butchered. Even if that didn't happen the Eliksni would never trust the Guardians or the City ever again and abandon us. This would play right in Savathun's hands leaving us divided and she would barely have to lift a finger.
The Exotic Sparrow "Riis Racer" which you get from the Season Pass also has a lore tab about Amanda Holiday taking on an Eliksni Apprentice. It's definwtly a more positive and heartwarming story than is presented on most of the Weapons.
Not going to lie, the eliksni are the first race in a long line of races in videogames to give me pause from murdering every last one of them i can find
Before we continue on with the video, can we pour one out for that poor Titan at 19:10 that tried to use his missle to get that moment of glory, but failed miserably? RIP Titan, where ever you are.
I would say to the devs, make a couple new PVP maps using the simplified assets of the Vex network. Also want a Guardian Games obstacle course/gauntlet made in that style for next year too.
One of my favorite dialogs is between Saint-14 and Mithraks. After the mission is over Saint basically says something to the effect of "Don't forget, this power of yours is not necessarily from the Eliksni, what you do comes from the light." And Mithraks responds by saying something like " The Saint is correct, all we have comes from the Great Machine, praise be!"

One of the reasons that the Mass Effect trilogy remains my favorite gaming experiences of all time is the political intrigue between the different species and factions. I loved learning about the different species, their histories and cultures, and how those things impacted Shepard’s interactions with them. As an International Politics major, I always had fun drawing parallels to real-world issues and playing the diplomat(except for Renegade playthroughs lol). After almost seven years of indiscriminately slaughtering the Fallen, it’s about time we get more interactions with them that aren’t just quick pit-stops at vendors. Love this direction, and I hope Bungie keeps it up.
I think they COULD (very theory-esqe) be setting up for adding Eliksni player characters some way down the road. If the House of Light proves themselves to the Traveller and they’re given the powers of the lightbearers...we’re in for a treat.
@@dragobane4728 I don't want Mithrax to die but IF he does and she's the one that killed him, I want her to be present the moment he's rezzed AND then she can die in a ditch.
Lore wise, I’ve been loving everything since shadowkeep, especially looking back. Last year we tried to bolster our allies, bringing back saint-14 and Osiris back into the fold and powered up rasputin, we also made attempts to understand the darkness. But rasputin was shut down, and we lost 4 planets, 2 great allies and 1 fan boy. Now we are looking further outward for allies against the hive and the darkness. Caital extended her hand for an “alliance,” to bolster her ranks against the hive, we may have slapped that hand away but with an armistice and things ending non violently, she is more likely to help us against the hive than letting us fight alone. Now we have mithrax and the eliksni of house light, a group that we would have a stronger bond with than the cabal. And the fact that they let us see quira for a split second makes me so happy that they’ve finally learned that we love teases like this, especially when they are confirmations and relevant to the current overarching story

Yeah that's definitely my thoughts on that too, it's going to steadily grow into a more permanent and less ramshackle settlement.
Hell yeah
We’ve got Cabal allies- now it’s time to get Mithrax and the Eliksni to team against Savathun.
We have Cabal allies?
Sort of allies. We've got a armatice with them, which means the main empire of the Cabal are neutral towards us, although there are cabal who didn't leave Earth as part of the armatice and are seen as criminals, with us tasked to handle them ourselves. However, I would not be surprised that in the future, after they've recovered a bit more from their retreat from Torobatl and have settled down a bit, that they send some troops to help us kick some hive butt!
@@dustydan4961 I agree with you. Though, an armistice is very far from being allies. Remember the U.S. has an armistice with North Korea.

This year is all about gaining allies in preparation to fight Savathun.

To anyone wondering yes Laskmi-2 is voiced by Shohreh Aghdashloo who plays Avasalrala in The Expanse
One neat thing in this season is that you can follow a sad little story over multiple lore tabs.
1. Crow has been going to Spider's storehouses and taking resources (and convincing his workers to defect), and sending them to House Light in Spider's name to mess with him
3. In a different tab (that Byf actually mentioned), we see this same eliksni trying ramen for the first time down in the city, and the store owner tells him that first time customers get it for free, and this eliksni repeats what he heard Amanda say earlier, because she jokingly said that's how they refer to a kind, generous friend
4. Someone overheard this and got scared, assuming it was some kind of threat, and murdered the eliksni :(
Luckily there are a few wholesome moments in the lore this season, too.

One of my favorite lore entries so far, it's really great. Kinda forgot that Shaxx was a proper warlord at one point.

What was in Riiswalker?
Is Mithraxeelated to variks??
I JUST realized that Mithrax named his 'daughter' after SJUR EIDO!
Not really. Eido named herself that, but it was still after Sjur Eido.
I absolutely LOVE the call-back they did to a previous mission, Enemy of My Enemy, during a conversation between Misraaks and Ikora. Very very nice touch speaking to his experiences with us.
I really am enjoying this season so far. The loot is awesome and I actually like the transmog system
Yea same here. While I understand the reasons to dislike it, I think the hate is getting exaggerated.
Same i don't mind the system but if they would nerf the bounties a bit, increase the drop rate of synthstrand (or whatever it's called) and remove the cap i think it'd be a pretty good system.
One minor lore-bit I'd like to remind you about that could potentially become *very* relevant soon is one of the few parts of the Kell of Kells prophesy that we know for certain: "They (The Kell of Kells) will be chosen by the Great Machine and blessed with it's Light."
If they decide to follow the potential "Mithrax as the Kell of Kells" plotline, I could see him possibly dying near the end of the season and being raised by a Ghost as the first Eliksni Guardian.
For me, the Riiswalker lore tab really hammered home how difficult the integration of the Eliksni allies in the Last City is going to be.

As she explains these visions with acquired using Vex-based technology which is known for highly accurate predictions
After living through the Red War and believing that you saw it coming would incline most to believe almost anything they saw using that technology and FWC is centered on using that tech to see the future.

Ah I was waiting for this. I’m glad you got saved from honeydew hell from day 1
Not going to lie, the eliksni are the first race in a long line of races in videogames to give me pause from murdering every last one of them i can find
So far I’m enjoying the new book about Zavala
Honestly im hating Lakshmi at the moment the lore on the riiswalker shotgun proves she has a hand in it........ that being said the new crucible handcannon lore thats a start........
Edit: i hope they keep the Eliksini settlement in game cause i want to see it rebuilt and evolve over time, it’ll be nice to visit somewhere thats not the tower once and awhile. Edit 2: the dialogue you get from Eido .........the moment i heard her talking about these little things...... im seeing their culture, their history and im loving every little details right down to that (spoilers just incase).
The shank
If you hate her from Riiswalker alone, I suggest you read the lore from the fwc smg. You'll hate her even more.
@@SuperHalofan64 ........... welp a prophet and saviour........... tell me what are the requirements to become a god again cause i think Lakshmi will try and take that mantle too.
Hey Byf, I was playing override and I spotted loyalist cabal. Is this a simulated loyalist or could this be the return of Calus?
You saw loyalists? Oh no.
My friends and I saw them too! Was wondering what was up with that
The Drifter is easily my favorite character, and I hope we get more of him soon.
Awright, open call for getting Eliksni Guardians.
Who’s with me?
If Mithrax dies due to Lakshmi-2, he probably will get ressed as a guardian. He has the best traits for it, from what the speaker said in the Red War
I think they COULD (very theory-esqe) be setting up for adding Eliksni player characters some way down the road. If the House of Light proves themselves to the Traveller and they’re given the powers of the lightbearers...we’re in for a treat.
Yes
@@dragobane4728 I don't want Mithrax to die but IF he does and she's the one that killed him, I want her to be present the moment he's rezzed AND then she can die in a ditch.
@@CalebMealer i dont think we will be able to play as an eliksni guardian
pls do not feel the need to apologize for taking a couple days to get this out lmfao you put out SO MUCH stuff the past couple weeks!!!
If Lakshmi chases the Fallen out I'm leaving with them
Want a spoiler? I’ve read what happens by the end of the season
@_ noahfunk1089 _ Lakshmi dies at the end of the season when the vex invade the city. And we allie with the fallen in the House of Light.
Everytime i see a Eliksni at the tower my brain goes. Hug them NOW!
I wish to play patty cake with eliksni!
I loved going through the Eliksni quarters and listening to all of eidos logs, I can't wait to hear you look into all these amazing and saddening lore tabs about our new 4 eyed friends!
A thank you to Cryptarch Byf.
Reading Chroma Rush lore= :D
Reading Shattered Cipher lore= D:
reading Deicide lore: ._.
analyzing Deicide lore: O_O
humans of the last city aren't worth saving smh
@@Typhoon.Two-1 I just did that and when I saw it I went uh oh
Looking into the future and reading III - Gifts from the Shore and putting the full story into context= T_T
I appreciate that Byf doesn’t have to apologise to us, but he does it anyway.
A True Gentleman.
imagine House Light repairing insurrection prime and having Mithrax pilot it like something out of titanfall lmao
They despise everything Insurrection Prime stands for.
@@Cross31415 then they’d probably make another big brig for mithrax
Epic fight between mithrax in a big ass mech against a giant ogre!
I'm just glad Ikora's finally getting some action in, and they're finally expanding more on her character through her wish to help the House of Light.
Heh, imagine if D3 would have Eliksini Guardians.
And Cabal (I don't really know their species' name for itself) too! They're a perfect fit for Titans!
play as Eliksini that could be fun
the first time i found out about the fallen having once be blessed by the traveller i thought the same thing
@@OrionX700 i wonder what Cabal would play like. Since they’re MUCH bigger than humans are.
I’m glad to see Ikora doing stuff again
Cant wait for Lakshmi to be this seasons Saladin. The annoyingly pessimistic character...
Unlike Saladin she has actual reasons to be worried
@@oreo-postraphe true
@@oreo-postraphe They both had their reasons. Saladin's reasons were that he hasn't really forgiven them for the Red War, and that the Cabal only know war. Lakshmi-2's reasons are that she saw a future where the House of Light turns on us.
@@elitegamer9310 one of many *MANY* possible outcomes.
