Can't watch this thing, but can definitely hear it! So cute, and good on them for pointing out the no petting or feeding rule! I'll add no talking to the dogs, as well...
i love educating kids with my guide dog. They are such a joy, watching them learn and understand, and interact with him, with my permission.

Thank you!!! I was explaining to my young daughter what a seeing eye dog/service dog was. She grasped it kinda..? I said when we get home I’ll find a video to show you exactly. Well thank the google first one we watched was this one and couldn’t have been better. This discussion began after seeing a dog in action at the bowling alley and my lil gal asking if she could pet it...really thanks🤙🏼

Hello so I found this video a while ago. When I was attending blindness training. But the problem was I was an adult then and I’m an adult now so as much as this video is good for children adults should have something more well oriented for adults. The other thing I wanted to say was a couple things. One is, I think that the good thing is I’m glad they’re no graduation ceremonies. I think that’s a good thing. I am going for training somewhere and once the training is complete we move on. So that’s a good thing. I actually want to give the school credit for that. However there are some very serious concerns that the school does that I’d like to address now someone can please correct me if I’m wrong if the website hasn’t been updated for a while. First off, I think personally that the guy dog handler/owner should be allowed to contact their puppy razor if they so choose that is in my opinion freedom of choice. If the school is being an intermediary by giving the communications between you and the puppy razor the letter that you write or whatever, that’s between me and the puppy razor not the CI. So I think this change needs to be undone or I shouldn’t say undone, but this change needs to be made immediately. Puppy raises would like to know what their students are doing and where they’re going and what the dog is up to. After all, they raise the dog so I think that it would be better for the puppy razor and the guy dog handler to communicate by themselves. It gives the school one less thing they have to do by forwarding the letters to them. The school should be focused on improving training, making good changes doing good things. Not filtering communication between a puppy razor and a guide dog handler. I believe other schools allow this to happen. Someone can correct me on that as well. But I always thought that other schools will allow for the puppy razor and the guide dog handler of the dog, to communicate. I also want to say a condolence for anyone who may be seeing this video that I am sorry for all those who have been in my opinion illegally discriminated against meaning that they have been illegally denied rides on ride, sharing platforms or denied entry in other public settings. This behavior is illegal, and should be scrapped immediately. The law is the law. Now I’ve gotten into many arguments with sharing drivers and other people about this. But the law is the law. If the law says, you have to transport a service animal then there’s no discussion you have to do it. This is why I personally will not be using a guy dog because I want to have a good life not a life fighting the system all the time. However, just because I don’t use a dog I still support those who do use dogs, especially those who have been denied access to certain facilities rides, and anything else. This video should educate people that when you get a dog, you may have to deal with unfair treatment being a guide dog owner. There needs to be something in this video or something on that so that people know the pros and cons to getting a guide dog. This is just common sense and I think no matter what age you are if you really want a guide dog then you need to know both parts of it the goods of it, but you also need to know the potential risks of what can happen. It’ll help you make a better decision whether a guide dog is right for someone or not. It is true that I’m a sided guide user and I don’t have very good orientation and mobility. I don’t mind telling people that because I’m not gonna sit there and say that I do have it when I don’t, but I still sympathize and support those who do use guide dog even though I use sided guide 99% of the time. I think as another alternative, there should be some kind of artificial intelligence robot device that can do almost similar things that a guide dog can do using artificial intelligence, and using other forms of technology to guide people either people who don’t want to use sided guide all the time or people who have slightly better mobility, skills or orientation skills than I do. In this way, they’ll be less discrimination about devices and dogs and mobility devices. And people might have another option if they don’t want to have a guide dog, but wanna have another mobility device. I’m hoping someday they’ll be some kind of mobility device in the future that we replaced parts of orientation and mobility. But that is Many years away. Anyway, thanks for reading this video or comment and I hope everyone has a blessed day. Please forgive dictation. I am relying on dictation and don’t read braille so I’m doing my best.

My mother had a friend that was blind. Our family became breeders of Labradors. They cost a lot of money. My mother's dog had 4 litters with 5 pups each, go figure. All of them became seeing eye dogs because her children (9 of us) could train the dog with the 12 golden rules. I still remember my 4 year old sister (with here friends) squeling with delight when she could tell the dog what to do, and Lulu would always obey.
