Affection yessss. All times my Jaggu Beagle always wants cuddling. If i ignore him, he will skip his breakfast ,lunch and dinner!!! And once he is cuddled upto brim , he eats his breakfast , lunch and dinner all in 10 minutes. In fact if I decide to do away with breakfast , he will just start complaining

There are plenty of videos on how to make homemade dog food. Mine won't eat dog food either, so I started making big batches of homemade food every couple weeks. This week is chicken quarters, canned salmon, beans, peas, rice, potatoes, broccoli.

Once in a while is fine. But everyday can be tough for the dog. You can keep your dog is Dog-Day-Care.
My parents did this with our Beagle, they didn't know any better. He became anti-social, I really don't recommend it.
