GREAT VIDEO!! We have a “Beaglier”, Beagle and Cavalier King Charles mix - Macie Harper. She has a lot of qualities of both breeds; however it is the Beagle side that drives us all nuts!! We worked with a trainer for several months and had her mostly under control, but it is the barking that is still the problem. Our trainer said we had our hands full because in her 40 years of training, Macie Harper, was the smartest dog she had ever seen. In our first visit, 3 hours, Macie had “mastered” commands that usually take 2 weeks to 2 months for other dogs!! We KNEW we were in trouble. We kept up training until our Trainer moved. We are not a diligent as we should be so the barking is an issue. I will TRY the “let them bark until they realize you will not respond” idea if my nerves and eardrum hold up. Lots of good suggestions. THANK YOU!
The whole pulling on the leash thing was a horrible experiance for me. Especially if there were people or other dogs around. I finally caved and got a shock collar, one with a beep and a shock and I never had to use the shock. My beagle learned to listen to my commands with just the beep and now she can roam freely outside without a leash. :)
@@vioricabalica4854 Haha yeah they can get pretty crazy. The brand I have is Sportdog. So it has a beep setting and the buzzing setting. The beep is just a beep in their ears so you say a command and beep it and they will get accustomed to hearing just the beep so you never have to use the shock. It really helps. When I first started using it I kept it on my beagle all day because it takes some time to get used to.
GREAT AND HELPFUL VIDEO !! also i would request you to make a video regarding feeding habits , my beagle often refuses his food for 7 8 days every month ,, firstly i thought its because im giving excessive treats but its like he is being extremely picky about food . so i would like to request you to make a video on picky eaters , and what do you feed your beagles
Hie.. My beagle is 4months old and I m in love with her alrdy❤️ Just sm tips based on my experience Beagles have to be trained within 3-4 to 6 months max aft tht its a challenge. They sleep for 15hrs atlst in split timings so no need to worry.. They chew kn furnitures for sure wile their toothing , hard tennis ball or hard toy would help (they r choosy on toys 🙄) Beagles r hyperactive, excited n stubborn for sure, u need to hv more time to train them.. Yes we can train our dog (wit lot of patience n time n love ofcourse)..
I had a beagle, great dog, loved kids, full of energy, I trip out that I see these videos and people live in apartments and have a beagle. My Beagle loved to run and roam the yard, he caught mice and possums. He would bark and howl at night only if a critter was in the yard. These dogs are great companions but they were bread to hunt so that if a person doesn’t have the energy to try and keep up a beagle may not be the bread for them. Only downside for me was allergies, vet bills were a bit expensive.
I've had a beagle for 11 years. We use the halti harness for waking/hiking. It's magic, and she does great even in the woods. She never had a furniture eating issue, thank goodness! She does chew through literally every toy. We use the kongs and hard plastic toys only, but it's rough for me bc I love buying her the stuffys. We use a shock collar for nighttime barking... but she has figured out a way to use her crate to get it off. 🤷♀️ she spends the time trying to get it off instead of barking though. Mission accomplished.
You nailed it on the stubborn, they also can tolerate pain and hard to see them in pain. I had to put mine down after we found out she had cancer and started to suffer, the hardest thing I had to do and sure to miss her. I loved that dog with all my heart.
@@baileybutterfly320 Yes for the most part but gives me a difficult time when I leave her alone for a SHORT TIME. Thankfully I can take her to work everyday. 😁
Beagles are dogs, and hunting, scenting and exercise is important. Never leave him outside or he will disappear and Never return. Never leave him alone in the house. He is a fun dog,so have fun.
It is very emotionally hard on Beagles to be left alone to often and not have interaction with someone. My two are very codependent. When they are left alone they get depressed and will even refuse food they get so sad!
I’ve had 2 Beagles and a lot of these do fix some of their behaviors. If you can’t dedicate the energy I’d recommend getting one that’s around 4 years old. They’re perfect and usually well behaved by that time. :)
Pulling the leash can very easily be fixed. If you are using a harnass, connect your leash to the front instead of his back. That way, if he starts pulling, the harnassen will tighten around his throat, which they DO NOT LIKE AT ALL. The transformation is enormous. They will stop pulling and walk by your side
It seems as if a lot of what people consider to be behavioral problems stem back to evolutionary adaptations that served dog well in accordance to their historical purpose. 🤷🏼♀️ A beagle would need high energy to go on long hunts. It would need to vocalize loudly, perhaps for long periods, so owner could find him after tracking and finding a bird, etc. It would have to follow its nose to track what is being hunted, etc. Anyone unsure of what breed of dog to get would benefit from thinking about what the breed was used for historically. It shaped the breeds behavior, neurology, etc. Of course, dogs can adapt to the modern world with training, redirecting dogs needs into something else, etc. And every dog has a unique personality, like people. But this has been helpful to me. ❤
my beagles been very good. but just this morning one of them picked my apple pencil from a low desk and took it out without my knowledge. but otherwise, beagle dogs are smart, affectionate, expressive, mischievous. generally the best dog to have, imho.
I'm literally going through everything minus the uncontrollable barking. Its honestly exhausting 😓 But its good to know these are all normal behaviors from a beagle breed. We've come a long way but still have much work to do.
Hi Biz! I have a female gsd/beagle mix. She is so sweet. You are the first person I've seen in a comment section that has the same breed of dog as me. I also have 2 female beagles and 2 female kitties.
I try to redirect him to toys when he starts biting but it doesn't always work and when I make loud noises he won't even flinch 😥 I don't know what to do
Yeah our two year old boy beagle never really barks, if your walking then he may bark at the colour red for some reason but it’s very rare, I actually wish he would be a little more vocal but as long as he’s happy, he fits in very well with our family and we want a lemon coloured one in the future so he’s got a friend.
My Beagle is fantastic 3,5 years young. He dont bark or howling always happy and of course hungry all the time. He sleeps with the cat . And he is a great Tracker when we are out walking.😊😊😊
We got a rescue Beagle that had been chained for the 1st 8 months. She is the most loving little thing but as she gets more secure that we love her, she is getting more Beagle. Luckily she loves to shred plastic and paper not furniture.
I adopted a Beagle in 2015 when he was 4. He's now 11+. The only issues I've had with him is A. He's never been 100% house-trained, but I have a carpet steam-cleaner and accidents he's had were cleaned quickly, and B. I cannot stop him from eating poop outside - other dogs' poop, goose poop, rabbit poop, my other dogs' poop... It's really frustrating. I've tried everything short of a shock collar or a muzzle. I would really rather no pursue either of those options (both suggested by vets). He was a rescue from Kentucky and I learned through the adoption agency that he came from a home where he was neglected and fed/given water when his "people" remembered to do so. He was also abused physically and left outside all the time. I know some of this has caused his obsession/need to eat poop, but he's been doing this for 7+ years now and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions are welcome.
It just burns my heart whenever I hear such stories. Such people have a special place in hell reserved for them. Anyway, I would recommend putting your dog under 100% supervision for 2 to 4 weeks. I know this seems impossible, but you could maybe hire someone or ask your family members when you are available. And when ever he tried to pee inside the house just make him stop and take him outside. And whenever he tries to eat poop, firmly say NO and when he tries to eat it, gently tug his leash and say NO. for couple of minutes, take him to the same spot where there's poop and see what he does. If he tries to eat it, tug and redirect. If he doesn't give him a treat. Try to prevent potty eating for a month straight. Let me know how it goes.
Most behavioral problems with beagles are usually self inflicted. Early training is the key. For example, don’t give them old shoes to chew on and then complain when they chew up your good shoes. They don’t know what’s good and what’s not.
BTW, I HAVE NEVER HEARD A LITTLE DOG WITH SUCH A HUGE LOUD GINORMAS BARK/GROWL/. VERBAL HOWL !!! THEY RUN FREE 24/7 AND THEY LOVE TO BEAT THE SHIIT OUTTA EACH OTHER... THEY BITE AND ATTACK AND FIGHT BUT NEVER DRAW BLOOD OR HURT EACH OTHER. I JUST GOT OFF THE BEAGLE GUY BOB, AND TOLD HIM I WANT ANOTHER BATCH BUT DO A BETTER DEAL THIS TIME FOR ME. 100!$ EACH... I CANT WAIT TO NAME THEM ALL.
I have every issue except the excessive barking. She will unlock my door, open it, run to her friend’s place down the hall and open her door. She is known as Houdini throughout my building
Beagles need beagles. If you're going to own a beagle, you really should own two bagels. They are much better behaved in pairs and they do not get anxiety because they have each other when you are not there.
I agree. I love how you mentioned bagel. I just got a bagel puppy a week ago. I lost my Sam bagel in December. He was so such a chill dog. Stubborn at times of course. But very user friendly 😂
Thanks so much for being here... Our sweet pure-bred Beagle is soo Stubborn. That is why her breeder decided they she would be untrainable. As you have said, and I agree this is really TOUGH! Her Name is Diva, and she proves it everyday. LOL! But today we are concerned as we are in Missouri and the Summer heat is really ramping up. Every time we need her to come in, she will stand at the door and not come in. it was funny at first, but not any more. Any tips??
As for the summer heat in Missouri, it’s crucial to keep Diva safe and cool. Here are some tips that might help: 1. Create Positive Associations: Make coming inside a positive experience for Diva. Use treats or her favorite toy to lure her inside. Praise her and give her a treat once she’s inside to reinforce that coming in is a good thing. 2. Establish a Routine: Dogs thrive on routine. Try to establish a consistent schedule for outside time and coming inside. Over time, she’ll get used to the pattern and it will become easier. 3. Use Commands and Cues: Consistent commands can help. Use a specific word or phrase every time you want her to come inside. Be firm and clear, and reward her promptly when she obeys. 4. Limit Outdoor Time During Peak Heat: Make sure Diva isn’t outside for too long during the hottest parts of the day. Early morning or late evening are better times for outdoor activities when it’s cooler. 5. Cooling Measures: If she’s reluctant to come inside, it might be because she’s overheated. Provide a shaded area outside and ensure she has access to fresh, cool water. You can also use cooling mats or a kiddie pool to help her stay cool. Check for Underlying Issues: Sometimes, reluctance to come inside could be due to something inside that she doesn’t like or is afraid of. Make sure her indoor environment is comfortable and stress-free.
One thing about beagles, no matter the size, is to understand that all breeds of beagles are hunting dogs. They are sense of smell oriented, and like most hunting breeds that are sense of smell (olfactory oriented) oriented, they can and will follow smells of different animals or things they find interesting or curious. They often use their bark and howling to say “I’ve found something, come here (please) and look what I found!” Beagles can become overweight if not exercised per the breed’s requirements, and they can like the outdoors, whether in a yard or on a farm, etc.. Beagles tend to pee a lot. When outside, they use pee as a marker to leave a trail to follow back where they came from, or back home. So housebreaking can be more time consuming and harder than some other breeds. And being social, they can run with other beagles afield (like a pack of hunting dogs on a hunt). Being a hunting breed, hunters can have them trained or (train them themselves), to hunt game such as rabbits, squirrels, and other game animals, and will either corner, force the game to circle, or tree an animal they are sniffing and “hunting down”. Beagles are fairly high energy dogs so please recognize these beautiful breeds as active, loving friendly dogs that will need a lot of exercise and some outdoor time to use their nose! 🐶
My beagle loves to chew on a split elk antler that has the marrow part.to chew. Highly recommend!! they are for aggressive chewers.. also those ram horns.. After we play ball at night she pulls out all of her bones to chew. She has one special bone that she doesn't chew. But every time someone she likes comes in the house she gets that bone and brings it to them. Its like an honor
All the problems mentionned are due to boredom and lack of exercise. Beagles are not really an apartment dog. And by exercise I mean letting them nose at everything. On a walk, be patient and let them use their nose until they are satisfied enough to move further.
Pack animal, need company 24/7.....very smart, very greedy... Never miss a smell.... (powerfull nose), any smell will distract them... But very loyal, and good round kids.. Overall great dogs.
@ila sue. I was just wondering how the challenge of adopting that beagle has been. I've got one thats 14 months. Yes it has been a challenge but he is the most comical dog I've ever had.
I think that the reason why they destroy the toys is because of their hunting nature. That toy once destroyed represent the end of the hunt session. I am no longer giving him that kind of toy. Try instead to simulate an hunting scenario.
Our beagle is well behaved in the house, working on the pulling with leash is still a challenge. Our big PROBLEM is she got out of her harness this past Saturday and the week before in a collar. Once she figured out she was free it was hours before we got her back. ALL THE RECALL WORK was out the window. Tried everything and if it weren’t for her running to neighbors fenced in yard where we could close her in at the gate and her being so tired , we would have never caught her. We can not figure out why she wouldn’t come.
It’s probably not going to help much but my beagle stopped pulling on the leash after I trained him off the leash. I trained him off the leash by taking him to to a fenced off field. Every time he ran away, I would just call the command and walk the opposite way. Eventually, he just follows me. If I chased him, he ran further.
I had a wonderful beagle named Buddy & I think he was perfect. He never chewed up anything & he didn’t bark allot or howl. The only problem was he grabbed food if it was near him & he ate his poop if he was quicker than him. All you are talking about is not always true. I miss him so much & this dog looked just like Buddy.
biting humans no. it didn't happen with the two pups I looked after. They wrestle each other. One of them will bite the other's harness until it comes off. When they were getting fixed he bit her e collar several of them. She had to wear a onesie for the rest of the healing period. Adorable!
My beagle has separation anxiety. She even had her teeth stuck because she was biting ang pulling her crate just to get out. When I leave her alone or with a family member she will still be anxious and starts to drool excessively then howl.
The same thing with my beagle ,My beagle is a puppy and just turned 10 months and now he can stay home alone for a few hours without crying or barking. I reccomend taking her on a 20 minute walk so she can use the bathroom before u go and tell her to not cry. Keep doing that every single day, she needs to know u will be back , yes this will take a lot of patience. If she does stop crying, or cry's less, praise her or give em a treat, thats what we did to our beagle and now he stays by himself when we go to the store or other stuff. Good luck and I hope this helps :)
These are not common only to beagles. I do not find the breed stubborn. I currently have 5 very well behaved beagles. They are actually easier to train, because they are food motivated
My beagle has major separation anxiety when I leave for work but I keep him in his cage in morning my brother lets him out and I get home he goes crazy over me winning and crying and jumping on me trying for me to sit down for him to snuggle on me any help would be great
Mine has the same problem. His separation anxiety is so bad, he sometimes throws up, pees or chews on things. Sometimes he does all three. He’s 6 months and nothing (AND I MEAN NOTHING) has worked so far. We’ve tried the kong toy but he goes nuts as soon as he knows he’s going to be alone or he is alone.
Mine has separation anxiety too but I've found that taking him for car rides helps. I'll drive to a gas station and take him with me once a week or so and he sees me leave the car and go into the gas station after I park. It's kind of desensitized him to seeing me walk away and get out of his field of vision. I try to to do it as much as I can, if I'm going somewhere that takes 5 minutes
My beagle pulls so much that I wear a wrist brace because he hurts my wrist. I put him in training and it got a bit better but it’s still not where it needs to be and he’s afraid of other dogs especially large ones that he barks aggressively 😩 and separation anxiety.
Beagles are so goo go ga ga. THEY MAKE ME TWEAK THEY ARE SO CUTEEE. My beagles steal my socks to get my attention and every time it makes me laugh my butt off because they are so funny with it.
Our 10 month old beagle chess and swallows everything that comes his way. We try and keep things out of reach but the rare instances we have forgotten he has chewed and swallowed stuff like pen covers, plastic bottle covers etc.... This behavior is very worrying. Will he ever out grow this phase? It's dangerous for him!
We have a 5 year old beagle and she definitely doesn't try to eat everything she sees like she used to. Do your best to keep him away from everything unhealthy. It will get better, but might not completely go away.
how do you confine certain toys to each animal like I have three different types of dogs breeds how can I stop my beagle from taking one of theres? any ideas?
I'm getting conflicting reports on the whining.... I tried ignoring my puppies whining and woke up to a "special surprise" in his crate in the morning. Since he couldn't avoid the "surprise" during the night, I ended up having to bathe him as well as cleaning a crate.
my favorite part of my beagle is her loud "dramatic", or " snobby" snorts. makes my girlfriend and I laugh everytime because she (the dog) does in perfect timing with our conversations. Not sure if all beagles do it though

We are not a diligent as we should be so the barking is an issue. I will TRY the “let them bark until they realize you will not respond” idea if my nerves and eardrum hold up. Lots of good suggestions. THANK YOU!
Muzzle or debark
We have just got 2 Beagliers - gluten for punishment! But they are adorable at 12wks.
Which collar did you get? How did the beep work? My 4 month old Beagle is worse than 5 toddlers 😅
Oh wow ! I must've gotten lucky with my beagle. She doesn't really bark, whine, or howl :O
We have a beagle mix who listens really well in the kitchen where the treats are and nowhere else. She is also a relentless giver of kisses.
Hie.. My beagle is 4months old and I m in love with her alrdy❤️
Just sm tips based on my experience
Beagles have to be trained within 3-4 to 6 months max aft tht its a challenge.
They sleep for 15hrs atlst in split timings so no need to worry..
They chew kn furnitures for sure wile their toothing , hard tennis ball or hard toy would help (they r choosy on toys 🙄)
Beagles r hyperactive, excited n stubborn for sure, u need to hv more time to train them..
I was surprised with 2 beagle puppies today. I love them
I will pray for you
@@leonardodacapris302 thank you :)
They have a vet appointment today to get check up and shots, I love them 🥺
I've had a beagle for 11 years.
You should never use shock collar on beagle or any dog
That is horrible you did to that poor dog
You nailed it on the stubborn, they also can tolerate pain and hard to see them in pain. I had to put mine down after we found out she had cancer and started to suffer, the hardest thing I had to do and sure to miss her. I loved that dog with all my heart.
I feel your pain, exactly the same with mine, don't think I ll ever get over it
I know you're pain. Had to put my bagel down in December. Just got new bagel a week ago
My Beagle, Macy is now 14 years old. I adopted her at 9 and love her dearly.
Thats so sweet.
Is she mellow?
@@baileybutterfly320
Yes for the most part but gives me a difficult time when I leave her alone for a SHORT TIME. Thankfully I can take her to work everyday. 😁
Beagles are dogs, and hunting, scenting and exercise is important.
Never leave him outside or he will disappear and Never return.
Never leave him alone in the house.
He is a fun dog,so have fun.
My girl doesn't leave the yard. Unattended to.
My male and female Beagle always come back home. Never once have they not returned home.
it's tough to raise a beagle but seriously all your efforts are successful when you see a cute little cuddle monster leaning against you and sleeping
So True my beagle is very stubborn and knows what he does. Also he’s very lovable. ❤
Thank you beagle care your tips and experiences really helped me to take care of my beagle . Great job 👍👏😊
I'm literally going through everything minus the uncontrollable barking. Its honestly exhausting 😓
But its good to know these are all normal behaviors from a beagle breed. We've come a long way but still have much work to do.
Yo tobirama! How are the uchihas?
It's all worth it, they are so loving!
After the third year they chill out
I'm doing the same with mine she's 7 months old
Exhausting? You make it sound like hell!
Put me off already
i have a beagle this is gonna help!!! He barks like 24/7
I have a German shepherd beagle mix. Super smart. Super stubborn. He drives me nuts, but gosh I love that goof. 🥰
Wow! Must be so energetic!
Hi Biz! I have a female gsd/beagle mix. She is so sweet. You are the first person I've seen in a comment section that has the same breed of dog as me.
I also have 2 female beagles and 2 female kitties.
i have a beagle pup and he omg he barks and he is very stubborn but the smartest thing and cutes thing ever
I try to redirect him to toys when he starts biting but it doesn't always work and when I make loud noises he won't even flinch 😥 I don't know what to do
Mines the same, got cuts over my hands cos of it, holes in my socks lol
😢 mine bites me all the time
Do you have plenty of chew bones? Mine love the ram horn with the marrow part inside
Make the toys more interesting if you can (smels, flavors, sounds, textures). Also play with him using the toys, or do tuck wars with your pet
Teach him no? And when he stops biting give hima treat
Is it just me, or is my beagle an angel because she NEVER barks? (Metaphorically speaking)
hahaha same never speaks never barks unless i do speak command
Same he only barks at deers or raccoons or other animals
I have 1 like that only barks at delivery ppl & squirrels. The other 1 won't ever be quiet
Yeah, mine does too, at squirrels and my neighbor when he’s pulling out the trash can 🤣...but other than that, she doesn’t bark
Poo eating is a sign of something missing in his diet. Try a higher quality dog food
I just got new puppy bagel a week ago. I had to put my Sam aka bagel down in December. We also rescued each other. They are stubborn
Most behavioral problems with beagles are usually self inflicted. Early training is the key. For example, don’t give them old shoes to chew on and then complain when they chew up your good shoes. They don’t know what’s good and what’s not.
This channel helped me a lott
I am glad :)
@beagle care you lot are amazing I have always wanted a beagle and love your videos
Thank you, very well illustrated.
No doubt man. They are a trip together. He was last one left of litter. Mom and Dad and him. They would all holla together 😂
I have every issue except the excessive barking. She will unlock my door, open it, run to her friend’s place down the hall and open her door. She is known as Houdini throughout my building
How old??
Beagles need beagles. If you're going to own a beagle, you really should own two bagels. They are much better behaved in pairs and they do not get anxiety because they have each other when you are not there.
I agree. I love how you mentioned bagel. I just got a bagel puppy a week ago. I lost my Sam bagel in December. He was so such a chill dog. Stubborn at times of course. But very user friendly 😂
I’ve never heard my beagle bark. Even when someone knocks on the door. I have only ever heard him cry when we start ignoring him
Me too
SAME MINE DOESNT BARK ORHOWL 🤣
aww
Same!
Just need help with socializing my beagle with other dogs.
He's friendly with humans but get aggressive seeing any pet or stray dog.
Thanks for all this information 👍
I have 50 days old beagal puppy
That's why I m very protective
Rabb khush rkhay tvanu 🙏
Thanks so much for being here... Our sweet pure-bred Beagle is soo Stubborn. That is why her breeder decided they she would be untrainable. As you have said, and I agree this is really TOUGH! Her Name is Diva, and she proves it everyday. LOL! But today we are concerned as we are in Missouri and the Summer heat is really ramping up. Every time we need her to come in, she will stand at the door and not come in. it was funny at first, but not any more. Any tips??
As for the summer heat in Missouri, it’s crucial to keep Diva safe and cool. Here are some tips that might help:
Haha I have a Beagle named Buffy ( fancy named since it was a necessity)!!! Maybe they are sisters!😮
Thank you for your good advice..
Ok but I have a question
Wont training dogs with treats make them only look forward to treats instead of actually wanting to follow your command
Aww, how sweet.
Just lost my precious angel. She jumped out of the car the one time she wasn't harnessed in. She was only 5.
Sorry for the loss..
I am so sorry . Fly high angle 🕊
This is so sad 🥺
Your beagle is so cute!
I am beagle Dino wearing white socks 🧦
Ahh when you said do not even look at him, I actually looked away from the screen!!! Lol
My beagle is so restless. I m tired but loving it at the same time 😅
We're adopting a Beatle puppy on Saturday. I'm a cat person but up for the challenge😃 it's for our son.
I’m a cat person too but I absolutely adore our beagle mix. I see you posted this 2 months ago-hopefully it’s going well with your new pup!
@ila sue. I was just wondering how the challenge of adopting that beagle has been. I've got one thats 14 months. Yes it has been a challenge but he is the most comical dog I've ever had.
Beagles are the cats of dogs so you'll actually be pretty qualified
All you said was very true but I will train my beagle hard ❤️
2:23 And what should we do if our beagle has destroys EVERY toy that we give him?
Also, practice leash walking indoors. Less distractions
Thanks finally now I understand why my beagle is so annoying in uncontrollable barking
Love these guys.
yeaah me too
I had a wonderful beagle named Buddy & I think he was perfect. He never chewed up anything & he didn’t bark allot or howl. The only problem was he grabbed food if it was near him & he ate his poop if he was quicker than him. All you are talking about is not always true. I miss him so much & this dog looked just like Buddy.
Very nice video.. Really enjoyed it.keep it up👍👍
My dog is a “hound mix” I’m convinced now he is a beagle mix. He’s so obnoxious but I love him 🥲
My beagle used to choke herself from pulling so hard on the leash. I felt so bad and didn’t know what to do at the time.
Hello i have a blue tick beagle.. he's 4months old...he is one of a kind..yes he doesn't listen and wants everything u have.
More like "7 Behavioral Problem in Beagles' Owners" coz they are just the cutesttttttt, they can't do anything wrong
Very good training tips!
Thanks a lot :)
Loved your video. Thankyou so much
So nice of you :)
biting humans no. it didn't happen with the two pups I looked after. They wrestle each other. One of them will bite the other's harness until it comes off. When they were getting fixed he bit her e collar several of them. She had to wear a onesie for the rest of the healing period. Adorable!
Thank you so much this is helpful
Thank you so much!
thanks for the advice
Thanks
These are not common only to beagles. I do not find the breed stubborn. I currently have 5 very well behaved beagles. They are actually easier to train, because they are food motivated
My dog is mixed breeds between a Beagle and a Corgi, and She is a good girl! ❤
Nice vid. I have that exact same blue leash 😃
I LOVE MY BEAGLE SOO MUCH ❤️
You are right
My beagle has major separation anxiety when I leave for work but I keep him in his cage in morning my brother lets him out and I get home he goes crazy over me winning and crying and jumping on me trying for me to sit down for him to snuggle on me any help would be great
Mine has the same problem.
I got my beagle last month... he's good dog but he bites alot..what should i do?
My beagle pulls so much that I wear a wrist brace because he hurts my wrist. I put him in training and it got a bit better but it’s still not where it needs to be and he’s afraid of other dogs especially large ones that he barks aggressively 😩 and separation anxiety.
Same here but my beagle injured my index finger from pulling so much.
I use an anti pull harness on my beagles. They work well. Beagles need lots of excercise.
Beagles are so goo go ga ga.
THEY MAKE ME TWEAK THEY ARE SO CUTEEE. My beagles steal my socks to get my attention and every time it makes me laugh my butt off because they are so funny with it.
All puppies chew furniture. It’s only a problem if they continue to do that in adulthood
was this recorded in india?
Our 10 month old beagle chess and swallows everything that comes his way. We try and keep things out of reach but the rare instances we have forgotten he has chewed and swallowed stuff like pen covers, plastic bottle covers etc.... This behavior is very worrying. Will he ever out grow this phase? It's dangerous for him!
We have a 5 year old beagle and she definitely doesn't try to eat everything she sees like she used to. Do your best to keep him away from everything unhealthy. It will get better, but might not completely go away.
how do you confine certain toys to each animal like I have three different types of dogs breeds how can I stop my beagle from taking one of theres? any ideas?
they're super adorable
And affordable
My beagle is 3years old n biting me n my husband. What to do please suggest.
I'm getting conflicting reports on the whining....
I tried ignoring my puppies whining and woke up to a "special surprise" in his crate in the morning. Since he couldn't avoid the "surprise" during the night, I ended up having to bathe him as well as cleaning a crate.
Planning to add a family member . An aunt of mine offers me a beagle . I need to learn a lot for me to be a good fur parent
Loved the video !
We love our rescue beagle. I’m curious as to why your beagle isn’t neutered?
unpopular answer is shock collar and crate training early on
my favorite part of my beagle is her loud "dramatic", or " snobby" snorts. makes my girlfriend and I laugh everytime because she (the dog) does in perfect timing with our conversations. Not sure if all beagles do it though
Yeah my Groot does that too sometimes
